Got called into work at 5 AM and couldn't make my appointment. I called as soon as I could to reschedule and was basically told too bad -- because I missed the appointment, now I can only call every single day and hope there's an opening. No flexibility, no understanding, nothing. On top of that, the two times I've actually been there were a complete mess. Everything feels rushed from the second you walk in. They hurry you in, hurry you out, and if you actually have questions about your appointment or treatment, good luck getting anyone to slow down long enough to answer them. Customer service is terrible, communication is worse, and the whole place feels disorganized and chaotic. Definitely not a good experience. read more

This clinic is terrible; the staff is very racist, especially toward Spanish speakers. They won't help you unless you speak English well. My native language isn't English--though I do speak a little Spanish and a little English--but they expect you to speak English perfectly; they even threatened to cancel my appointment. Discrimination: ADA To preface this complaint, I am disabled/handicapped in a wheelchair. I rely on 24/7 care. My husband transports me to appointments. It is very difficult for me to get to appointments. There is a level of planning involved. He needs to take time off work to physically assist me, lifting me in and out of the vehicle and the dental chair. On this day, 9/10/2025, I had an appointment with Soft Touch Dental at 5:30 PM for a tooth extraction. My husband called from work to advise me that there was no way he could lift me in and out of the vehicle, and he was currently on the way to the doctor because he had injured his back and could hardly walk. He asked me to reschedule my appointment. This was at 10:15 AM. I called Soft Touch Dental to cancel and reschedule my appointment. I was told that since I cancelled on the same day, I was no longer allowed to "make" appointments, and I would need to call the office every day starting at 8:00 AM to look for openings on that day. I explained my disabilities, and that I needed at least 24 hours to make arrangements, such as my husband taking time off work, and they still REFUSED to accommodate my handicap and disability. Their blatant disregard for my disability and refusal to provide reasonable accommodations and refusal to make an appointment is disgusting, and a total disregard for the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 is a clear violation. read more

I have been going here for a year and a half now, i will not be going back. I had an appointment a week ago and they made no mention of my wisdom teeth coming in, fast forward to now, I am in so much pain, and two of them are coming in and crowding my mouth. On top of this they are refusing me an emergency appointment because "my file has no mention of my wisdom teeth coming in, and I was seen a week ago so they can't be coming in already." Absolutely horrible place. I had an appointment today and am sick and cannot come in because I don't wanna risk getting others sick let alone a procedure they preform messing me up because I was sick while going under. I had to cancel this morning and I get told same day cancellation makes it to where I CANNOT reschedule and NOT even allowed to set up another appointment, got told to call on Monday and Wednesday to every week to see if someone else canceled and I can get it. I had the absolute worst experience at this dentist office after getting a basic cavity filled. To make matters worse, the next morning I woke up with a huge mouth ulcer near where the filling was done. My jaw was in excruciating pain, and my mouth was so swollen. I called the emergency phone number on there site and they told me to gargle salt water... It was clear that the filling was not done properly and had caused an infection. I had to go to another dentist to fix the mess they made. Which he told me that the dentist had scratched my gum with a tool he used during the filling and prescribed me medication for the infection. I would never recommend this dentist office to anyone. They clearly don't care about their patients' well-being and are only interested in making money. Avoid at all costs! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! My daughter went to the dentist to get a basic cavity filled. The next day she had badly infected lip and gum... She called them and they told her to "gargle salt water"??? She called a REAL dentist who looked at her mouth and told her they had cut her lip with a tool when working on her mouth and her mouth was infected and need antibiotics...the original doctor not only did not tell her this and did not give her antibiotics....they tried to cover their incompetence with "gargle salt water". That was their solution to the infection was caused from having an unclean office and the doctor being derelict! I have since read other reviews on this dentist office and it seems like par for the course with these guys..... The State of Oregon needs to seriously look into this practice. My husband and I have been going to see Dr Sadakah at Soft Touch in Springfield for years. We have always been happy with him and the staff there. But after today, I had to take the time to write a review. I just finished getting crowns put on my two front teeth. I put it off for years because of the expense and for fear of it not looking natural. They were bucked, split, chipped and the enamel was wearing off. It was time. I am so glad I did it. I have seen Danny Sadakah for 3 separate visits now. I really appreciate how he has treated me and kept me informed while making decisions about my teeth. He is very calming while being informative. I myself have some insecurities and it just is very helpful to be reminded how good I'm doing and just being encouraged the way he does while working. I've never had such a friendly dentist. I'm not a big fan of the receptionist workers, none of them have been friendly or shown good customer service, but as calming as Danny is, I will keep coming back for that. My son has a horrible virus that he woke up with. He has an appt today and I called to say how I'll he was and no matter the reason it's considered same day cancelation and won't be able to be seen again unless it's a same day appt which I have to just keep calling to get him into. This makes no sense for keeping him or others at Soft touch healthy and terrible for encouraging people to take care of their oral health. The same day cancelation policy doesn't work for working families. I'm very disappointed with the dentist we were assigned. Terrible missed appointments policy. They basically act like people aren't capable of making mistakes or have extenuating circumstances. I was effectively denied further service at this office simply for missing a singular appointment. I understand that people shouldn't miss appointments and I believe it's good to have policies to discourage that. But nowhere on their policy sheet does it state that this is the case. Honestly, I'm amazed at the complete lack of sympathy the scheduling team shows. Dr. Sadakah leaves a lot to be desired in a dentist. His saccharine polite demeanor do nothing to hide his impatience and his attitude that shouts "I'M THE DENTIST HERE. NOT YOU. I KNOW EVERYTHING."; two things I doubt any dental patient wants to experience with a dentist. These two personality traits are desperately transparent in him. I had an appointment with him yesterday and he was nearly an hour late getting to me. I could hear him speaking with other patients before he got to me as there are no walls between rooms. He spent maybe - at most - three minutes with each patient. And ALL OF US - ACCORDING TO HIM, including me after he saw me, have multiple cavities. Is that possible? Of course, but is it likely that we ALL have as many as I heard him say? No. He just filled 7 cavities for me two years ago and according to him, I now have three more. And I don't believe him. He didn't bother to point them out to me on the x-ray nor did he provide ideas as to how I might have chipped my tooth last week. He simply called it a cavity. I'm no dentist, but I know it's not a cavity ?!?! I should note here that I take extreme cleanliness measures when it comes to caring for my teeth. I always have. I don't believe this dentist is honest or good with his patients, and I strongly suggest that prospective patients look elsewhere for a new dentist. read more

Dr. Sadakah is absolutely amazing! I have a horrible infected tooth, and had to have a root canal. Root canals have to be the worst thing in the whole world! And on top of that, I have severe dental anxiety so I have never been able to have any dental procedures without being completely sedated because no dentist has every been able to numb me correctly. I didn't feel a thing! He numbed me correctly, and quickly. He explained everything exactly as I needed to know, and did not over complicate explanations or what was going on. The front desk staff was very polite and professional, and extremely empathetic discussing payment options (because of course my insurance doesn't cover root canals). All in all I would say this is the best experience I have had with a dental office, possibly any medical office, ever. They are over an hour away from my house but I will continue to make the trip down for all of my dental needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Sadakah and his staff to anyone. read more

I had come to this dentistry in hopes of treating a broken tooth, and while that was in fact done, I hadn't planned to be verbally insulted while there. Once they had decided the tooth needed to be removed, I was put in the "Capable" hands of one Dr. Danny Sadakah. While under his treatment, he proceeded to mock me for my dislike of needles, asking "Would you like to call your mommy,". As if this wasn't bad enough, he was also short tempered, snapping at me multiple times for relatively minor reactions. But the worst came when halfway through the procedure, the man then told me that if I didn't stop reacting, he would stop the procedure part way through, leaving the bone fragments, and the bottom half of my tooth still in my mouth. Because I desired to actually have the tooth removed, I tried my hardest to remain still, which difficult for someone like me. I confirmed my appointment the day before by a text message. My morning appointment was scheduled at 9Am. I woke up at 7 o'clock in the morning with a sore throat and a fever. I've had both my vaccinations. I'm still concerned as I work with the public that I might be infected. I drove down for my appointment and sat in my car and made an executive decision at 9 o'clock not to go inside the building. I called from outside and told them I was running a fever and was concerned about possibly having the virus and not wanting to come in. I was told I could plead my situation for the corporate office to possibly "Review my case" otherwise I would have to wait 4 months because I missed the appointment. This was my 2nd visit to the office. The 1st went efficiently, although I did notice they were moving people in-and-out of the office very quickly. That did signal to me as a red flag. If you're going to be taking your time to do good work you better make sure you're precise. I want someone who is working on my teeth to be careful and also have a good bedside manner. I'm a responsible person and I felt like I was treated like a loser. Is this the category and treatment of how this particular office runs its business as a factory? My 2nd appointment was for a cleaning. I don't want to make people sick. I honestly feel that policy even though they are running a business needs to be a little bit more HUMAN, and flexible with those who are concerned about the variant. We have good cause now with the situation that we're in. I think to protect the employees and the people coming into the building there needs to be a responsibility. Maybe the business policy should be reconsidered. The people that work there were just doing their job. After reviewing the reviews on Yelp I'm considering this situation to be a blessing in disguise. I need to find a dentist with integrity as well as A positive office environment for its employees and clients. Humans with real life experiences. Not excuses, just situations that need to be worked with. I realize as a business owner myself people can be irresponsible and disrespectful, but don't treat somebody like they've committed a crime when they're doing the best they can. I broke a tooth and they got me in the next day. But...I got there 15 min prior to appointment time, had paperwork done in about ten minutes, so far so good. I waited and waited, watched people leave, was the only one in the waiting room for a half hour. Then others started coming in, checking in and getting called back, while I sat there 45min after my appointment time. I asked if I got forgotten but was blown off by the reception not even going back to check. I got back one hour after my schedule time, from there things went fine. Dr. Danny sadakah is very unprofessional and rude . I went in for my appointment on 12-22-21. I asked for white fillings, said he wasn't doing my molar with the White filling but would do my other tooth using it. I said ok to the one . In hindsight I should have left then. As he proceeded to numb me, I raised my hand and mumbled i was in pain. He rudely told me to put my hand down. He left the room for few minutes and then returned to start drilling. As he was drilling I again said I was in pain. He stopped and said he would numb me some more. He started to numb me again and raised my hand and said I was in pain, stop. He stopped to yell at me that I would no longer be his patient after this appointment, but would finish the tooth he had drilled on. I asked why, all I did was indicate I was in pain. He said I made him uncomfortable. I made him uncomfortable.. right. He has no bed side manners. When he returned I asked him for his name, I wasn't sure. I thought there were more than one dentist at the office. He was offended and he said he would not finish the tooth he had drilled on. I honestly couldn't believe his disgusting behavior. I asked to speak to the office manager, she had a blank look, offered no apology for his behavior or any suggestion. I asked for another dentist she said he was the only one there and he didn't have to finish my tooth. I had no issues with that tooth prior this appointment but I left with a bigger cavity exposed, and pain. I was unable to find a dentist office for an emergency appointment that accepts my insurance before Christmas . It is now 12-27 due to the weather I'm still having a hard time making an appointment as many offices are closed. I'm appalled Danny Sadakah still has a license with all the bad reviews and the way he treats people. I've been trying to reach soft touch dental's corporate office to make an official complaint about this dentist and this dentist office. No response as of now. When I met the dentist for the first time I looked at his gloves and had a funny feeling and asked myself, "Are those clean?" And then he touched his chair with the gloves and then he puts his hands in my mouth and the gloves stink! Only after going there did I read the reviews on Yelp. My experience correlates with the other people's experiences. I'm lucky I didn't get sick from the other patients. If a dentist is too lazy to change gloves or wash his hands then he does not care about his patients. Would you want someone who doesn't care about his patients doing dental work on you? After reading the reviews I will not go back there. I've been traumatized from experiences at Disadvantage Dental and I don't need someone doing dental work on me who is not going to respect me when I raise my hand or close my eyes when the needle comes. Also I told the front desk lady that I had gone to the wrong address because the old address was on the internet still. She didn't apologize or say they'd fix it. It is no longer on B street! I'm so glad I read these reviews before bringing 700 some dollars cash to them for a filling. I almost did! They say it's 700 something cash for a filling or like $1,200 or so if using a card. The doctor was kind and did an excellent job on fillings. However, if you need a referral for denture repairs I would not recommend the Springfield office. I have been trying to get a referral to repair a denture that is cracking more everyday. Coordination of information is terrible. I'm the one having to sort out their work. Still no resolution. Maybe because they're only open on Wednesday. Plus when I did my another follow up, the referral person was out for two weeks. read more

They are a no nonsense dentist group. I would give them 3.5 stars. Certainly they are a good resource for those on Oregon Health Plan who are responsible and keep there appointments. They get you in and get your concerns taken care of very efficiently and get you out as fast as possible. This is not a patient oriented clinic that conveys warmth or personal interest to establish long term patient care. I would call it a fast food supply, rather then a family diner. I am simply appalled by this office. I can't understand how such an aweful person can continue practicing. My son, who is on the autistic spectrum, needed his tooth pulled. He is very high functioning and employed simple coping techniques during his procedure. Like one many of us use closing his eyes while getting the shots. The Dr. Asked if he needed his mommy. I truly hope this was some misguided attempt at humor. My son had to sit through abuse and degrading behavior even though he is NOT ASKING THE WORLD TO CHANGE FOR HIM.
