I first visited this place about 6 months ago. I loved how clean they were. I recently checked their reviews on here and saw some negative reviews and one saying they've failed in level of service since new management. I'm here to tell you I love this place!! I'm disgusted by how most nail salons reuse tools and don't wash their pedicure tubs but, at Medford Spa Nail they use tools straight out of a new package and use plastic covers in their pedicure tubs for each use. I got my first ever gel manicure today by Michelle and she was awesome and paid attention to every detail. Sam explained to me how to care for gel nails. He also offered me their membership card for just $2 and you can rack up points to get free treatments. This will be my go-to place from now on and I will always ask for Michelle! read more

I am a regular customers at Medford nails for the past two years. The last three appointment I had it with the new owner. Mia is very unprofessional when it comes to appointment and clarity about points. I had $28 in points from the previous owner. My last three appointments I'm trying to use my $28 and the new owner is making all kinds of excuse I finally get to use my points today, but unfortunately, she only gave me $10 in points "saying that system only have $10 not $28 "now she is aware of this since my last three appointments Medford spa does not run very efficiently. Worst experience ever!! Tried to charge me $95 for a fill and design even though they advertise the fill for $35. Opted out of the design. Got ONE nail fixed and they tried to charge me for fixing a hand. Tried to charge me $65 for the fill and plain paint. My sister got a full set and a design in the same salon for $65.... make it make sense man. Never ever again. I had to ask for cuticle oil, he never tended to my cuticles at all. Ended up leaving with nothing I wanted, while walking out with someone who got everything they wanted for the same price. I am so absolutely disappointed. I wanted to scream to the people walking in to RUN AWAY! In looking for a good nail salon in Suffolk county, this spa was recommended. I get powder dip manicures because I find that they last much longer than regular gel manicures. I live in Florida and have had trouble finding a nail salon there so I get my nails done in NY when I come to visit. Within 2 days the top coat began to crack so I went back to have them re done. They were very accommodating when I went back and kindly filed down and re-did the top coat on all of my nails. It's now 1 week later and I'm dealing with all of the nails losing their top coat (see pics) I won't go back. Two chances to make it right and I'm very dissatisfied. To be honest, I would rather drive 45 minutes each way and go to CeeCee nail spa in Hicksville. They do a stellar job there. read more

I was hesitant to come here because of the bad reviews but I was desperate to get my nails done tonight! To my shock and awe the place was amazing! Excellent customer service; I walked in and a gentleman quickly assisted me. I told him I wanted a gel manicure and pedicure but it was close to the time they close. The man was super nice and told me he could get it all done. I sat and got my gel soaked and received a free massage. I waited for a few minutes and was shown a pedicure chair. This place was so clean and comfortable. Michele, my nail tech was friendly and did an excellent job. Time flew by as I relaxed and was pampered. I don't live in New York and was just passing by but I would definitely be back to this place. Everyone was so friendly which is odd for this part of the state. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the price of my services. Although it was excellent, a pedicure and gel manicure wasn't worth $95. This place was fantastic! I don't live anywhere close, but if I did, I'd make this my regular spot. I stopped here on my way home from out east in desperate need. It was a busy Saturday, and I was taken right away. Sam made sure I was happy with everything and did everything he could to give me quick, yet efficient service, as my fiancé was waiting for me. I absolutely love the acrylic! I got lavender purple and it is beyond beautiful. They took their time on cutting the cuticle and shaping. It most definitely made me feel not rushed. However, I give it a four-star and not five because I was not pleased with the foot message that they gave me after the pedicure, I lasted 30 seconds and it was very soft. Lastly, make sure you look at the pedicure paper and get a price before you get your nails done because they are just a bit pricey. read more

After adding the business on Yelp and language barriers aside, because we all know that's a given in the nail salon world, I really enjoyed my pedi here! Lots of nail colors to choose from, they carry essie brand but be careful they have a look alike brand mixed in as well. Very friendly staff, both my friend, who is a regular there and has not had a bad experience to date, had a relaxing time. Instruments are sterilized and when you are waiting for your nails to dry their masseuse will give you the BEST neck/shoulder massage. I literally would go back just for him. They did a fine job on my super short UV gel manicure. But 50 BUCKS?? No fancy designs, just one color. Really? Nice people, but I gotta shop around. Update: ok, so I may have paid 50 bucks, but 3 weeks have gone by and not one nail has lifted! They still look and feel like I just had them done. Aside from the growth, of course. Place is so clean and my absolute favorite I've been to salons all over the island and found this gem close to home. Staff is always friendly and accommodating and the nails always come out great. It is a little pricy but it's worth it. I get my eyebrows done there too and I believe the girls name is Michelle does a great job. My mom is a registered nurse and gets the UV French and it lasts for up to a month and still looks like it was done yesterday. If I could give a 0 rating I would. Place was brought over by new management. They over charge everything and the service isn't even the greatest. Also I left a $5 tip and the rude young man behind the counter had the nerve to tell me tip is supposed to be 10%. Excuse me? Tip is optional and all I got was basic nails. I like this place. I prefer it over Grace Nails. I typically get a mani- pedi- brow wax every other month.They have great music, play cooking shows on the TVs. and produce high quality work. I have a normal nail place I go to but know a lot of girls who have gone here so I figured I'd give it a try. It was awful and they charge so much more than my place, $25 for a basic pedicure and $40 for dip powder. That is insane! A basic pedicure should not cost more than $16, and the pedicure was not worth the money at all. Then as I was leaving I gave a $10 tip and the man at the desk asked me as I was leaving if that tip was also for the guy who gave me a massage during my manicure, I thought that was just so rude to bluntly ask me that. Michelle was my technician and she was fabulous! Extremely friendly and professional! She took joy and pride in her work! I also treated myself to a wonderful chair massage! Ahhhhh! If I could give zero stars I absolutely would, first off the woman I had was too busy paying attention to everything else but my nails. When she was gluing the tips on she dropped one and the glue sorta dried and she put it on anyway ( this nail fell of three days after I got them done) and as she's doing my nails she filing them awfully and cutting my skin the entire time and my nails came out super lumpy looking, and one of the tips she accidentally cut and it came off that day. They were adequately staffed that I had zero wait time & my nail tech met me at the color polish station and led me to the pedicure chair which I thought was a nice touch.
