I have purchased regular bagels and their cream cheese. Both are delicious . I recently found out they have low carb bagels I'm going tomorrow to purchase and hopefully they are as good as regular bagels. Stopped in for a bagel and coffee after my best friend recommended this place! It was a cute little spot on the corner in the Toys R Us plaza. Cute decor with comfy couches and a table seating area. Good country music playing in the background. Staff was polite and attentive. Lots of choices for kind of bagels, and cream cheese. There was way too much cream cheese on my bagel though, I got the bacon scallion. After I scraped most of it off, it was good. Hot chocolate was pretty good too. However, about an hour after I ate it, I started getting the worst stomach pains, got sick shortly after. I hadn't had anything else to eat that day. So I'm pretty sure it was the cream cheese. I've had weird experiences every time I've been here. The food is decent which is why I've come back. Their wide selection of bagels and cream cheese is unmatched in Greece. Mostly recently I repeated my order 4 times because it kept getting said back to me incorrectly. Still ended up with the wrong sandwich. Was it good? Yes. Was it what I wanted? No. I'm not sure what else I could have done. This was drive thru and I didn't open the package until I was already home. On a previous visit one of the employees was trying to take my order and an older employee kept on interrupting her. She wasn't doing anything wrong but it seemed that there was a teamwork/trust issue behind the counter. Got in and out as quick as I could as it got a little awkward. The frustration on the younger employee was apparent. If there was somewhere else to get an egg bagel with 20 different cream cheese options on a drive-thru, I'd go there. read more

I placed an order over the phone today my boss goes to pick it up and they claim they can't find my order and that the girl that took the order left for the day so I called and the man that answer the phone call me that the person who took my order left and took it with her. And that was kind of rude because the person I sent to get the order had to get back to work and didn't have 10 minutes to wait on the food that's why we pre-ordered the food and they had plenty of time they had 30 minutes very disappointed seeing as how is my first time ordering from them and I've heard how good their food is but guess I will never know seeing as how I can't get my food because they didn't have an order for me. read more

Best bagel place in Rochester! Very clean and cute cafe setup inside, huge variety of bagel/cream cheese/sandwich options as well as other food to choose from as well. Their cold brew coffee was fantastic and I'm super grateful for their low carb bagel option (which is delicious by the way) so I can save more of my Weight Watchers points even when going out for something as delicious as a bagel. This is honestly the best bagel spot in the Roc. I've been coming here for years and it's so cozy and home-y. The staff is always so friendly and caring. The plus side to this spot is their drive thru window, especially during these strange covid times. I was going to stop at Starbucks on ridge and I saw a line of over 20 cars at 1 in the afternoon. I said screw that and then remembered Soho has coffee as well! I stopped through the drive thru and the staff was very warm and happy. The prices are extremely competitive. Unbelievable experience! I drove to this bagel shop early morning on the weekend for a real NYC bagel with fresh cream cheese. Take home and enjoy the bagels while reading the weekend newspaper- This morning, I asked them why my bagel felt cold? I was informed by the staff, they freeze bagels during mid week to supply weekend sales- Is this a fresh bagel? I asked for a pumpernickel bagel and gave me a marble instead. I was told it was close enough to a pumpernickel bagel! I also ordered a multi grain and was given wrong bagel. I went to check out and asked for scallion cream cheese. Staff gave me bacon and scallion flavor. I informed her this is not what I ordered but I was informed this brand is good! I informed her my sister is a vegetarian, then, she gives me a dill, onion and chives. I noticed the expiration date stated 6-10-22 and today is 6-17 - one week (7-8 days) had expired and I mentioned this to her, I was informed: "it should still be good, you will not get sick. The French toast bagel seriously tasted exactly like French toast. I'd be interested in going back to try their other special flavors! They have the largest selection of authentic NY-style boiled bagels around, and all of their bagel varieties taste amazing. My favorite is the honey-flavored wheat bagel... deliciousness defined. The staff is awesome and so friendly. What makes SoHo really stand out from their local competitors is the experience: the cafe is the classiest of them all and comfortable, and they also have a drive-thru for quick ordering from your car. I can't think of another bagel shop in town that offers drive-thru service. SoHo sells bagels, soups, salads, paninis, sandwiches, wraps, various coffee drinks, pitas, and desserts. An unassuming location tucked in the corner of a shopping mall you might miss it if you're not paying attention. Upon entering the heavenly aroma of fresh made bagels wafts you in the face. Spacious dining, complete with a fireplace sitting area, very clean with a walk-up coffee counter as well as walk up bagel service with a full menu of bagels breakfast sandwiches made from bagels Etc. I had myself an everything bagel toasted with a little bit of butter & bacon scallion smear( cream cheese) I added a large black coffee ( of course ) The Bagel was excellent light and airy, hot, and fresh, perfectly seasoned and while I don't know if it was the best bagel in New York I'd have to say it's definitely one of them.... decent cup of joe as well. On a side note if you get it to stay they give it to you on a plate and don't wrap it which is nice saving on materials cutting down on paper waste. I would definitely recommend Soho Bagels! I was Very disappointed that I was refused a substitution of a bag of chips instead of Mac Salad. My wife is not fond of side salads and chips were a great choice. They offered me them as a swap if I agreed to pay $.50 more. Guys it's $13.00 for 50 bags at Sam's. That's $.27 per bag. I think a bag of chips is a fair swap for one of your side salads, especially when I was getting a Panini sandwich for $6.99. Is 27 cents really worth losing a customer over? The wife and I had a couple minutes to kill so we decoded to stop in for a coffee and bagel. This was our first time here so it took us a while to decided what we wanted. The staff was friendly and was patient with us while we took forever to decide. The decor was very nice. Good country music playing quietly in the back ground. I ordered an everything bagel with butter and cream cheese. It was absolutely delicious. Maybe just a little bit too much cream cheese next time I'll know. The wife ordered an onion bagel with cream cheese. She ended up scraping off most of it. There was just way too much on hers. Iced coffee was very good. Wife's hot chocolate was extremely hot and need to cool down a good 10 mins before she could drink it. That's why I ordered the iced coffee. ;) read more

I attended a Yelp Elite event here and got to try so many menu items! They have a wide assortment of bagels with housemade cream cheeses. They also had several salads that were delicious. They also serve coffee and other drinks. The staff members were so friendly and sweet. I even got a coupon for the next time I stop in. I had a craving for a toasted bagel and both of my usual bagel places were closed for vacation so I looked for a close bagel place and found Soho. First of all, I want to note that the staff is really friendly and helpful. I brought my bagel home to toast it so I could have it with the vegan cream cheese I'd just bought at the grocery store. I noticed that the outside was cold to the touch and when I sliced it the inside was even colder. I'm wondering if the bagel had been frozen. That said, it toasted nicely and was really a pretty good bagel. But if I had wanted a fresh bagel to eat on the run or for a cold sandwich this wouldn't have worked for me. So my final thoughts - definitely better than a grocery store bagel but not as good as some of the others in town. I'll also note that they had a couple of sandwiches that could be modified to be vegan so that's a plus. read more

Keto bagels are good, though interesting how they consider rye "fiber". Lox spread is nasty, and should bring them shame. It tastes like they took a pea sized amnt of lox and mixed it in unlike every other bagel place offering it who use nice chunks of lox as to not mislead their customers. read more

Man, I love it here. The bagels are actually BAGLES (not breadles like a lot of places in Rochester. I often pick up a bag of day olds for a rest price, and they're still really fresh. The staff is friendly and takes time to get to know the regulars. Local coffee from Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters is a plus. I can go in with my whole family and there's something for everyone, and enough seats for us all. The space is clean and cozy. This is my top stop for breakfast. read more

Just went through the drive through window @ 1:45 pm today November 28, 2020. Ordered bagels. Bagels sold to us were frozen, hard as a rock. I called and spoke with Mike, the owner. He said that's how they do it... that all bagels get frozen after they are baked. He offered to buy them back (maybe he doesn't know he is not allowed to resell returned food) and at this point should not accept food returns. This is ridiculous. We go to the bagel shop to get fresh baked bagels at a premium price. Selling frozen bagels at a fresh bagel shop is like selling "day old" bagels. We wanted to eat a couple of them in the car as we were driving. Not possible. Very disappointed. read more

It comes coated in a delectable cinnamon/sugar mix, like an inside out piece of cinnamon toast. I get it toasted with butter and am in absolute heaven. The cheddar bagel is also omg-amazing. I've never had another bagel so packed with cheesy goodness. Again, toasted with butter -- don't mess with perfection by trying to add cream cheese. read more

Soho Bagel Cafe - Ridge Road West - 3/21/10 This place used to be Manhattan Bagel, and that's how Bellyman first found it. He loved the Ellis Island Pastrami! Then, one day, it was gone...poof! Soon, though, Soho Bagel Cafe opened in its place. On walking in, he saw the same owner and same people working there (who are all related to the owner apparently). Bellyman never asked what happened that it wasn't a Manhattan Bagel anymore, but he didn't really care. The Ellis Island was gone..sniff... But, Soho does still make some very good sandwiches. Although, to be honest Bellyman hasn't been there for lunch in some time. Belly Family will now more likely go for a breakfast or snack. It was snacks that were calling to Bellyman this day, specifically: Big Train's 20° Below Frozen Hot Chocolate. If you've never had one, you can get them at most non-chain coffee shops (but, Bellyman recommends you give your patronage to Soho if you can). Mrs. Bellyman's description is the best what ever was: "it tastes like a Cocoa Puff milkshake!" Yes. It really does! Primary on Mrs. Bellyman's agenda that day, though: a muffin. She got a chocolate cream cheese brownie muffin, and Bellyman got a coffee cake muffin. As the Frozen Hot Chocolate has enough sugar on its own to induce type 2 diabetes, Bellyman decided to enjoy his drink and have the muffin for breakfast the next morning. The Frozen Hot Chocolate was spectacular as usual, but the muffin...HO-LEE-CRAP! Bellyman took one bite of it on the drive in the next morning and decided to hold off on the rest until he got to the office. Bellyman did not want to be distracted while eating this amazing bit of bakery perfection. Easily the best damn muffin Bellyman has EVER had! Not too sweet, just the right amount of moist, and big. I've visited this cafe after seeing it on Yelp and being in the area. The first time around was an average experience, I ordered a bagel and cream cheese. I could tell the bagels were good, but mine tasted burnt, as much of the edge was burnt. I also noticed that it didn't seem like the dining area was very clean. I chalked that up to maybe having a busy morning, etc. My second go around, my experience was much less pleasant. I again ordered a bagel w/cream cheese, but they were out of the cream cheese I asked for. Ok, no problem, it happens. I then ordered a decaf coffee and cashed out. The gal behind the countered went to pour my coffee and they were out of decaf. I got a refund for that, since I couldn't wait for more to be brewed. Ok, I'm flexible and not dwelling. I then sat down at a dirty table to eat my bagel quickly and get back to work. I finished and headed to throw out my stuff and the garbage cans were full. Lastly, I headed to the ladies room before I left and there was a sign on the door "out of order". I'm sorry to say, that is it for me.
