I've been eating Brueggers Bagels for as long and I can remember, guessing over 20 years. Bagels have always been fresh and well baked. However it's noticeable the inconsistency for baking savory bagels at the Latta Road store. Specifically onion and garlic bagels are over baked browning the onion and garlic toppings to the point of being uneatable. Bakers should know baking and browning (burning) onions and garlic will render them bitter as with always cooking herbs. I've mentioned this to the store several times but naturally nothing gets done, I usually purchase a dozen a week. Resenting there were several weeks where all varieties were cooked perfectly however short lived. read more

What a disappointing experience. I live in Los Angeles and work at a bagel shop and always get New Yorkers coming in raving about New York bagels... what a disappointment. The option of bagel flavors is great and they have fun flavors for the cream cheese as well so that's a plus. But the amount of cream cheese they put on the bagel is LIGHT !! So, after not going there for a year, my wife told me that she knows the owner so I decided to give it another shot. Boy, I wasn't disappointed. Why do I always get the girl who hates her job? Horrible attitude. I asked for double cream cheese got a scoop and a half. Asked for a little bit more and got an attitude and it wasn't until seven hours later. I realized my wife didn't put the extra cream cheese on a bagel cause she didn't see it and Then realized I paid for somebody else's bagel sandwich! $6.69 I paid for a bagel with double cream cheese. I was already having anxiety and barely keeping my mouth shut over the poor attitude of the server to notice that The price wasn't right. I just wanted to get out of there. I've been coming here for a long time. If I'm going to eat a bagel, I prefer it to be a Brueggers Bagel. They have the freshest, tastiest bagels. I hate going to Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts, their bagels are always stale or just don't taste right. I wasn't sure if it was me or the employees, but every time I order the same thing. "May I have a sesame seed bagel, toasted, with plain cream cheese." Every time I got home, my bagel wasn't toasted...? It wasn't the slightest bit warm and the cream cheese wasn't even partially melted. Well, I went the other day and made sure to watch if the put in the toaster or not. Turns out, it wasn't me, or the employees. It's the toaster. This thing barely toasts. I understand they are busy and they need to move product, but there's no point using this machine... maybe they need a new one? It was better yesterday, but I don't know. This Brueggers is a regulr spot for joggers/runners, especially on Sunday mornings. I know regulars who enjoy going here and sitting down for a read of the paper, chit chat with friends, etc. Personally I feel the workers seem to just go through the motions more often than not. A couple of the regular faces seem to be polite and helpful. On multiple occasions I've experienced "that's not my job" conversations .... while I waited for service. Sorry, can't wait for Tim Hortons to open up the street (and i'm not a big Timmy's fan). read more

Visited few times while visiting Greece. Conveniently located near Wegman and great stop to get the usual fix. 1st visit was Saturday morning and the place was packed. several large groups gathered around the table and appears to be the regulars spending the morning time. My everything bagel sandwich was delicious and also the turkey sausage was very flavorful and spicy. loved it. service was ok without any problem. 2nd visit was snowy morning weekdays and other than the same big group, place was kinda slow with 3 workers at the front. I knew what I wanted today so I walked right up to the counter and .. one lady was backing away from the counter instead of "greeting". the other lady (appears to be supervisor or manager) hesitantly took my order. Great bagel sandwiches!! The spicy Dijon mustard is my favorite. I get it on a turkey sandwich every time and it makes the whole sandwich. Prices are fairly reasonable and the service is quick. I like to stop out when I visit my brother who lives nearby and we all get something special. It's a family favorite. read more

I always get Bruegger's and personally love their bagels. But, today they ran short on bagels (which is no big deal, their oven was down). Which like I said, is not a huge deal, we all have worked jobs where things don't go right. But... Because of this problem, the workers seemed miserable. The customer service was extremely awful. The employees were rude and did not care one bit about what the customer wanted. I ordered a herby turkey (I get this everytime) and it literally had one slice of turkey on it.... Literally a single slice. Like if you have only plain bagels left, atleast make up for it in the bagel sandwich you are making. And the terrible attitude was already worse enough... And getting home and seeing a single slice of turkey and basically eating lettuce is just awful. And on top of that there was no option to tip when I paid so hopefully that wasn't manually added in? Next time don't treat your costumers like that and actually do your job correctly (especially if things are going wrong in the kitchen, make up for it)! read more

Came in on Saturday 9/24 waited in like for about 8 minutes which I didn't care about to be honest. However, every time I come in they NEVER have everything bagels. So I am AWAYS stuck getting something else. So I had to get a plain bagel instead. Then I ordered a large French vanilla coffee. The girl poured the coffee into the cup JUST over halfway full and said 'so that's all that came out, did you want room for cream and sugar?' I said 'not that much room? That's half full' Then she said 'that's all that we have I would have to brew another pot' so I told her I would wait and the next coffee would be a pumpkin spice coffee. Well go figure they were out of that also. At this point there was no one in the store. 15 minutes go by and finally get the coffees, turn around to put cream and sugar in them and GO FIGURE. They were also out of skim milk. Had to wait about 20 minutes total for 2 bagels and 2 coffees and nothing was even the way we wanted because they didn't have anything. read more
