These guys were hands down the best customer service we have ever received in ALL industries. I was stood up by another moving company due to "it being too hot out", was parked blocking traffic in a 15' Haul with a crying 1 month old, a fed up with the car-seat 3 year old, and 2 vehicles. I called SoHo and they took the last minute job. He immediately gave me a reasonable quote, and told me they would be here in an hour max. They arrived 30 minutes early to help me an unload a 15' truck, and boy did they come to work! We were able to unload the entire truck in 2 hours time, considering the truck was entirely full. Not only did we finish early, but he gave my son a tip to put in his piggy bank! (Which he was excited about the rest of the evening.) All in all, these are genuinely good people, that do a genuinely good job. It's no surprise with they run a successful business, because they really do look out for the best interest of the customer, just like a business is supposed to in an all to wishy washy world. I will only use SoHo from here on out, and will recommend them to anyone that needs this type of service. Absolutely love the job these guys did. Quote and walk-through: They came over and I showed them all the pieces I needed done and we made an agreement to some terms. The price was fair and a bit better than 2 other big name movers. What I liked most about my contract was that they were going to be there until the job was done and not for a specific set of hours like the other 2 companies. Day Of: They showed up with a team of 4, on time and ready to work. Within 30-45 minutes they were done with 5 or 6 couches. They took all the furniture apart (beds, crib, etc) and reassembled at the final destination. One of the beds had some old screws and instead of simply screwing them in to get the job done, he called me over, asked my permission to replace them and did the job for me. He saw a need and tried to fix it. Throughout the process, if they saw something that might have been of value, they promptly called me over to alert me of it. Overall experience: I felt very glad and at ease that they were moving my belongings and would highly recommend their services. I typically do not write reviews for anything, but I couldn't resist. Had a very pleasent experience with the guys moving my furniture. At first : punctuality, they arrive at the time as a Swiss clock)) They covered with blankets and cardboard all the furniture, then they scotch it all for moving. The truck they use is nice, large and clean. I have new expensive Italian, shiny furniture, heavy China with glass doors - not a single scratch!! My daughters bedroom is quite complicated and also pretty heavy.. The men took in apart in minutes, then they put it back 1,2,3)). I had a bit more of the boxes with a small stuff then I though I would have when we spoke on the phone, but the guys didn't raised the price for me. Also, the price they charged me were more the reasonable. At the new house men helped me to organize my stuff very professionally, in a short period of time. Moving is very stressful, but the guys at this company made it a lot easier!! I will recommend for all to go with this company, as it is absolutely professionals who does care about their reputation. My family use SoHo Moving & Storage, inc.already twice. Our friend recommended this company, as his family had very pleasant experience with moving services this company provided. So couple years ago I contacted them to move locally in Brooklyn and didn't think twice to contact them again to move from New York to Florida. We really had no worry experience. Steven contacted us a month and a week before moving to cover all packing, moving and storage services. They arrived on time, the movers were fast, efficient, and knew what they were doing. They put really personal touch for packing and carefully wrapping our glass and furniture. Mickhael and Slava drove truck to FL and were responsive via phone and text. With their professional attitude and attention to details they were able to safely and effectively move us faster than we thought it would take. I have used several Moving companies. However this experience was one of my best. The team is very careful of evaluating while providing a quote, they visited my house far to ensure that they were fully aware of what they were moving. It was very well scheduled for the move. The team carefully followed up two months later to ensure they were on time for the move. In reality they had to cover up extra trip for some unknowns, however they never made any remarks on account of extra work. This team was very careful of all the items they packed and loaded on their truck. Its the strongest team by strength and mind for long hour move. I don't think I will ever dread the drudgery of moving in NYC ever again. Having experienced my most recent move in December I can safely say that I can't think of any other way I could move in the future that is not Soho moving. Everybody involved was at the same time efficient and helpful, taking just the right amount of time needed to move everything carefully and at the right place. No scrapes and no damages were done to either of the buildings I was moving from and to. Steven made sure I was quoted the right time allowing me to plan my day accordingly and Zura was the man in charge to have everything properly set up for my new apartment. I have to say I have moved a couple of times due to my job and it has always been a nightmare. As skeptical as I was about using a mover again I had no choice because I have severe back problems and no one to help me. I took a chance on this company because they were recommended to me by a friend at work. I must say that they were right on with the recommendation. Previous reviews of Soho Moving were mixed. However, their quote was very competitive in comparison to two others. The weather on the move day was not the best with freezing rain all day and blustery winds. Michael and Zurab arrived in NY on time and got to working right away...without stopping except for one cup of water. They finished packing in the time they promised. They arrived in our NJ condo on time and finished unpacking in record time...with time to spare. They placed all our rugs, furniture, freezer and additional refrigerator in the positions we wanted. We would recommend them to our daughters or anyone else. They were so easy to talk to! read more

They did an exceptional job and we couldn't be more pleased! They arrived early and worked quickly and carefully. They wrapped our furniture to protect it and then were especially careful to not drag any furniture on our hardwood floors. They were very easy to work with and actually made moving very simple. These Guys were marvelous. They worked straight through a long day with only ten minutes break for couple of times. Actually I can't compliment enough the crews who helped us move. I am grateful for their support. They were quite skilled to carry our stuff through a narrow and curved staircase. And I had no problem with the rate. It was absolutely reasonable. No hidden cost. Unfortunately, when the call came from Miami,FL I had to rush out of Marlboro ,NJ I left my husband and my son in charge of the moving. They had no issues with the move and that's because of Soho Moving. This company is just amazing. Their rates are just top-notch and always reasonable. I will always remember our last move simply for the men who worked so hard to make my life easier. I hired them without knowing much about them. But they gave the royal service. These guys were really great! They showed up early, got to work quickly and finished packing and loading everything in about an hour. They brought packing materials with them and wrapped my more fragile items carefully to keep them from getting scratched in the truck during the move. They were also friendly and provided all the documentation I requested in a timely manner. It was such a relief to leave my interstate move in their hands and not have to worry about packing/unpacking and the long drive with a big truck. Great service! I would use them again. read more

The movers were fast, efficient, and even friendly. I did some packing on my own but anything that I didn't get to, they packed quickly and carefully. They wrapped all of my furniture and electronics as to prevent damage. And when we arrived to my new apartment, they asked me where I wanted each box and pieces of furniture to go, so that I wouldn't have to lug heavy boxes unnecessarily. I cannot recommend Soho Moving enough. They moved my wife and I from CT to OH and it could not have gone smoother. They were early for both the loading and unloading and were very efficient.
