The tools that the technician was using for my pedicure weren't sharp enough, so she pulled at a cuticle and it bled profusely. Very painful. Talked to the manager about sharpening the tools but didn't acknowledge. She discounted my service but I won't go back. read more

I love the very personalized attention provided at Soho Nails. This is my 2nd visit, and I made the appointments because they're open on Mondays. However, based on my experience I've decided I'll be coming here from now on, as it was a much more friendly and pleasant atmosphere than another salon I've been going to. I was so happy with my experience. The staff was friendly and so kind. The place is really nice and they were not in any rush. They actually took the time with me as a customer and did a wonderful job on my toes. They were very sanitary and clean. I had received the best pedicure I've ever had. The hot stones and massages were an extra bonus! I used to go to another place in the area and I left because I was unhappy with their sanitary practices and how I felt rushed and unwanted. I am NOT the type to usually get manicures or pedicures, but after a stressful stint at work I decided it was time to pamper myself a bit. At a co-workers suggestion, we came to Soho and I immediately loved it. The place itself has a wonderful relaxing feel - not loud or smelling of chemicals like nails salons I had been in years back. It is also immaculately clean which, obviously, is a top requirement! The staff are also amazingly friendly and really seem to care about the client's comfort and safety. A group of us got the spa pedicure and while it seemed a bit pricey at first, ended up being more than worth the cost. The pedi lasted for close to (if not more than) an hour and included much more than I expected. All in all, I had an A+ mani and pedi and will definitely be going back to Soho! read more

How is it even possible that I'm the first person to review Soho Nail & Spa lol? I'm kinda shocked there aren't any previous reviews, since this is THE inexpensive nail salon of choice for my coworkers, friends, and I! Conveniently sandwiched between Charlie's diner and my doctor's office at Rockville Family Physicians, this salon is very clean, and the nail technicians are friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable, and even a few dollars cheaper than at nearby salons. It does get busy (I guess the word is out about how good it is!) but they always manage to squeeze me in for a lunchtime mani. Oh, and did I mention that while you wait for your nails to dry, you get a fantastic hot towel arm/shoulder/neck massage at no extra cost? I'm always up for trying new nail salons, but somehow I always end up right back here at Soho Nail & Spa! read more

Wow! Tried out Soho today and this place is a gem! I called today to see if they could take me for a last minute mani/pedi. Lucky for me even though it was 5pm on Friday, they were able to start me within 5 minutes. The salon is very clean and well kept (I've noticed a lot of nail shops are cluttered and way too many tacky posters.. NONE of that here, just simple and clean). The staff working there were very sweet and did a fantastic job. Their regular pedicure includes scrub, warm oil on the heels, and a massage. I have been places that would consider this to be "spa" pedicure. Manicure was great too and totally appreciated that hot towel massage at the end. Next time, i will probably make an appointment because it is small salon. Can't wait to return! read more

I went to Soho to get a manicure/pedicure for my wedding. My experience within the salon itself was wonderful! It really felt like a full spa treatment, but was very reasonably priced. The pedicure included about a 5 minute massage on each leg, which felt amazing. While my toes were drying, I also received a warm cloth shoulder massage (which unfortunately was very brief). Another massage was given during my manicure. The atmosphere was also quiet and relaxing. It all was lovely! My complaint is that my color did not last long at all. Surprisingly, my fingers lasted about 1.5 weeks, but my toe color barely lasted a week. And when it started to chip, it was entirely gone. I'll likely return :) read more

I tried to get a manicure and pedicure with my sister at Soho Nails. When we walked in they asked what we wanted and we told them we both wanted mani and pedi. One of the older Asian ladies (surprise, surprise) told us we cannot have both. We both had to pick only one service each. I looked at my sister, said "WTF?!" and we walked out. I got a gel manicure here for $30 and it looks beautiful! The place is very cute and clean. You get a nice little massage while you're getting your nails done, which is always a nice extra! They have a good selection of gel colors, too! read more

I wish I could give this zero stars. I had a full set of gel nails put on, and not even a week later, 3 of my nails popped off.. I'm not rough with my nails, I have a desk job, so the fact that this is happening is unacceptable, ESPECIALLY since it cost over $75. Always liked going there when I got my pedicures. Never tried a manicure so for my wedding I chose there. Got a full set with gel polish. Cost my 75 freaking dollars. Which is insane because ive gotten better quality sets and gel for way cheaper. I let it slide but now its barely a week later and they are chipping and falling off. I work at an office so I'm not putting strain on them and when I get my nails done I'm careful with them. Let's just say I will not be going back there sadly. Major rip off. And it look her many hours which didn't make sense cuz my guy who used to do my sets and my gel never took anywhere near as long. She kind of seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. They are very consistent and always give you the same service no matter what person is working on you. The owners are very welcoming and kind. I love soho because they are also SO CLEAN I mean it's spotless and I this that's SUPER important. I've been to Soho a few times and have never had the same expereience. I've had both excellent manicures and pedicures that lasted for weeks and I've also had gel manicures and a pedicures that chip after a day or two. I wish it was more consistent. It is affordable, however they always seem understaffed and I've been turned away at times when it seems that they are not very busy with little or no . I only go here as a last resort. read more

I heard so many great things about this place and I'm new to Vernon so I decided why not? I had a horrible experience. I got a gel manicure and just my toes painted with regular French tip (not gel). I didn't even get them cut or anything and it cost me 50 bucks! Plus, the design on my big toes doesn't even look like a flower it looks like a tiny pink blob in the corner of my nail. Looks like someone dropped a bottle of nail polish on the ground and it splattered on my foot. On top of that, I had to hold my arms up while in the pedicure chair (to get my toes painted) because they were trying to speed my session up and they were doing my shaping, cuticle cutting and all while I was getting my toes painted. My arms hurt so bad from holding them up so long. Then she forgot to put top coat on my toes and I had to remind her before I left. So so so upset with how my nails came out. They didn't have any of the colors I wanted (light grey, white) in gel polish. Never ever going back. What a waste of 50 bucks. read more
