GIGA SANDWICHES. We got the Philly, the Takoma (option for hot or cold and we got cold), and fries. They had individual drinks for sale as well. I don't usually eat cheesesteaks, so I'm not sure how it compares, but it was pretty good! My boyfriend and I exchanged halves of our subs which I'm grateful for. I feel like eating a whole cheesesteak would be too rich and heavy, so having the acidity and freshness from the Takoma was nice! Both were pretty big. I was probably able to eat the equivalent of half a sandwich. I struggled to eat the Takoma due to the crusty bread and the fact that its FILLED. The fries were whatever. They weren't really seasoned all that well, but they did have some hot sauces to try which was nice! I enjoyed their garlic hot sauce. My boyfriend compared them to McDonald's fries. There were four tables in the store for you to eat at. The tables filled up quickly. It is pretty messy to eat though so if you decide to eat elsewhere make sure you have lots of napkins. Since I've had my first Philly steak and cheese at Delassandros and John's roast Pork... I've been disappointed at everything we offer here in VA... So when I heard about Soko... I had to come check it out! There is nothing better in VA. It is hands down the closest we have here in VA. I would however recommend you get the spicy peppers to cut the richness of the sandwich/cheese... The fries are ok... I wish they were closer to the five guys type of fries... but not bad. We got there 10min before it opened at 11am and people were already waiting outside... by the time we ordered people were out the door waiting. It was Saturday morning. We ate there on 8/11/2026 for the first time. I really like this place. Its very cute, maybe even eccentric. My wife had the Steak and Cheese. It was very tender. Nice ratio of meat to cheese to bread. The meat was very tender. It definitely needed some salt & pepper. I think it needs some sautéed green pepper to go along with the steak and onions. It was very tasty. I had the smash burger. I did enjoy it. It needed some salt. The hamburger patties were a little smaller then the bun. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and added a nice texture contrast. It was delicious. We will be back. read more

This SOKO location has been getting a lot of attention from social media for their Philly cheesesteak. I have not had a decent cheesesteak since moving to the area. I arrived pretty early so there was no line at all. I placed my order for the Philly cheesesteak which is the prime rib, caramelized onion, housemade cheese wiz and mayo. My order was ready in less than 5 minutes. There is plenty of seating and a space to sit outside. The cheesesteak was good. Stopped in today while in town after hearing all the excitement surrounding Soko! While inside we met other customers who said they had seen Soko on Tik-tok. My friends and I ordered the Philly and thought it was good. But in my opinion the Philly didn't taste all that different from others in town. Came to this spot yesterday after hearing about how good the other location is. It's a very small location but man is it busy. The employees are extremely nice but I could tell we're frustrated by the volume of people trying to order food. The order was a cheesesteak, 2 smash burgers and 3 orders of fries. Everything felt like it was rushed. The fries were barely cooked and had no salt on them. The burger lacked seasoning. The bacon wasn't crispy at all. The cheesesteak was the one redeeming item. This was amazing. I heard about this on social media and while this was a drive, it was well worth it. The meat was tender, and the bread was crusted well. The cheese and mayo were not overbearing so you could taste every part of the Philly. Cheesesteak is the way to go! There's about 4 2 top tables inside if you want to eat inside or a small bar along the outside porch. I ordered my cheesesteak and within 2 minutes it was ready. It was steaming hot and mighty fine! If you've not had one of these before, I highly recommend that you wear something you don't mind getting your sandwich on because it is messy! Absolutely worth the messiness! They've also got exceptional aged steaks and other goodies to take and make at home. It does have a different menu from their Takoma Park location and fortunately they both have the steak and cheese. My wife, Deluxia, and my son, Sneef, and I had lunch here the other day. When we walked in I was thrilled to see 2 giant steaks painted on the wall. My wife and I split the Philly cheesesteak which was gargantuan and mega delicious. Plenty of food for 2. My son had the ginormous Italian sub and said "atsa ona gooda subba Poppa". We each selected a pre chilled Diet Coke (only $2) and we each had a packet of cutlery neatly packaged with a napkin. Tish tosh indeed! Man we realllllly wanted to like this place. After all the influencers we had to try it out. I got the bulgogi and my husband got the brisket sub and chicken fries. The bulgogi had zero flavor, it was so soggy within 5 minutes of picking it up and the beef was so dry neither of us could eat it. My husbands sandwich was also incredibly dry, no flavor and just meh at best. The fries were the highlight but our kids wouldn't est the chicken because it was so chewy it was like jerky. There were flies everywhere and just a really odd vibe.. hopefully this is just new restaurant issues that need to be worked through but really disappointing. read more

**Disappointing Experience -- Movie Night Ruined** I ordered two chicken cheesesteaks, specifically asking for "chicken" because it was listed on the menu in the form of buffalo chicken. When I got home, I discovered that both sandwiches were made with beef. I called the restaurant several times, but no one answered. I then drove back just minutes before closing and was told that the menu is different at the Leesburg location and they do not have the classic chicken cheesesteak. That explanation was frustrating because I had been very specific when placing my order, and the gentleman who took it never told me that chicken cheesesteaks were not available. The manager seemed nice enough, but there was no offer to refund my money or otherwise make the situation right. This entire problem could have been avoided with a simple explanation when I placed the order. Our movie night was ruined, and I am out approximately $50 for food we did not order. I will be sharing this experience with my neighbors, and I will not be returning. read more

The problem with this place is they don't know what they wanna be are they a sandwich shop or butcher shop as a sandwich shop they sell oversize sandwiches but the quality is about a seven or eight you could really make them smaller but bring in the quality as a butcher shop what decent butcher shop opens at 11 o'clock in the morning. You need to figure out what you wanna be guys and go with it. read more
