My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant! We recently moved to Sutherlin from Eugene. We had our favorite Mexican restaurant in Eugene and count ourselves lucky to have found our new favorite right down the street. The food includes all the standard Mexican American menu items and a few that seem unusual to me but the flavoring is very good! A lot of places seem to be bland, but not here. They also give you salsa AND beans to dip you chips in before your meal. How could you not fall in love!? The drinks are good, not lacking in alcohol like some places. The staff is very nice. We consider ourselves regulars now but they are just as attentive and friendly as they were on our first visit. The bathrooms are clean, like clean clean! We also like the atmosphere and decor. They also play Spanish music. There's nothing more of putting that eating at a Mexican restaurant listening to Jon Bon Jovi. We love this place and if you don't, get out!! :) read more

Not sure why this place isn't more crowded! This place has the best refried beans!! Enchiladas are good and so are the chimichangas. They served beans with the chips, which is new to this Southern Californian, but it was good. Pico de gallo is also awesome! read more

This restaurant deserves 6 stars! Fabulous food, superb service. The seafood chimichanga is DELICIOSO, as is the shrimp in cream sauce (my favorite), camarones a la crema. Gorgeous authentic décor, spotless restrooms, wonderful bar beverages. Chile relleno is one of the best I have had anywhere - even in Cozumel. Pretty good Mexican food, for Oregon. Friendly service, though we had to ask for drink refills and my son's order was wrong twice. We had taquitos, 2 burritos, and the taco salad. All were very good. I ordered a vegi burrito. It contained rice , beans and lettuce for $10.95. There was a trace of cauliflower and broccoli about the size of a clove. Even the onion was a trace. Tried again another time same results. When they first started in business the burrito was was loaded with vegis I mean big sprigs. Now it's a joke. I won't be going back. read more

My husband and I were very impressed with this Mexican restaurant. I ordered the taco plate and the chicken flour tacos were stuffed full of shredded chicken, my husband thought his ground beef chimichanga was quite tasty. The retried beans so yummy and the Spanish rice was plain but good. We were served chips and salsa shortly after we sat down and that was quite good too. Ate at this place when I was in Sutherlin. Good Mexican food. Ordered the enchilada and taco combo. They let me choose two different meAts! Perfect margaritas and I barely even like margaritas. Excellent service. Charged a 1.50 Extra for sour cream though. Flan was good it's a must try dessert of eating Mexican. I should have asked if they had fried ice cream. read more

Tonight's experience was horrible. The best dish we had was a child ground beef quesadilla. The "chalupa" was a very large hard shell taco. The two carne asadas tasted old and very weird. The drinks were great and I would recommend going there for a drink with a friend but if you want to dine this is not a great choice. read more

My kids and I went there for our very rare night out. The service was horrible, we had to ask for refills in drinks more than once, we asked 3x for napkins resulting in them not coming. I eventually got up and got them. The food was cold, hard and extremely bland. There was only one other table in the restaurant and we waited 30 minutes after we took our last bite for the check and then asked for it. It still never came. I ended up looking at the menu (which were never taken) , adding up our total in my head and leaving what I thought would cover it. We left with no one even acknowledging us. It was a horrible meal, awkward evening and left is a little bummed. We have all agreed we will definitely NOT be returning again. There is a little mobile Mexican restaurant down the street the other way that is absolutely amazing , very affordable, with excellent customer service and they don't even leave the window! Lol. Staying here during a round trip and we were nervous about the small town culinary options, but were so pleased here! Rosa was our waitress and she was absolutely delightful!!! A lttle hard to find, but our friends live in Roseberg and I wanted Mexican food. LOVED it. The owner made carnitas before hand for our friends and they were very happy. My wife and I ordered off the menu and were pleasantly surprised. It is a family run restaurant, which I personally like (don't like chains run by corporations). He needs marketing help, as the previous Mexican restaurant in that building had a bad reputation. We will absolutely go there on our return visit to our friends in Roseberg. read more

My husband, our 5 year old daughter and I stopped here for a late lunch on the way down to Northern California from the Portland area today. The food is delicious!! The interior of the restaurant is your very typical Mexican restaurant, with Mexican music playing on my the speakers. It was clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We thought we were ordering light by getting a shredded beef quesadilla off of the appetizer menu for the hubby and daughter to share, and just a bowl of tortilla soup for me. JUST a bowl?? I was able to eat maybe half of it and take the rest to go, and I had a pretty big appetite at the time. We also took a little less than half of the quesadilla to go. The soup was the best tortilla soup I have ever had. An explosion of flavor with a hearty amount of tender white meat chicken, tortilla strips, chunks of avocado and green onions. The broth was perfectly seasoned. It was perfect soul food! The quesadilla was great quality, too! Even the guacamole that came with it along with sour cream was full of flavor. It had a delicious cilantro and lime flavor, and was clearly made from scratch. Our daughter tends to be active and playful at restaurants and doesn't eat much, but she ate a good zshare of those quesadillas! I recommend this place and will definitely stop there again if I'm ready to eat while passing through the area again! The only slightly negative is that the margaritas seemed a little weak, but then again, I like strong alcohol flavor so they are probably just perfect for most enjoyers of margaritas! read more
