Then used that lack of documentation to deny coverage. Their position: the warranty covers how things were installed, but not the materials their own crew selected and applied. I gave them every opportunity to resolve this professionally. They stopped responding entirely. The roof installation itself was fine. But their warranty is worthless -- and they've essentially said so themselves. If a roofing company won't stand behind a $650 repair on a $14,200 job within the warranty period, what exactly is the warranty for? Take your business elsewhere.

The problem is that the work that was done was done by unlicensed contractors, and that when I had made the purchase for the roofing tiles, Hector Santiago use the company Vegas born roofing to place the order, and I just went and purchased them. I did look at the tiles beforehand to see if they were the right color, and they were. The tiles that Hector brought over were not the ones that I had originally purchased. Likely what had happened was that they came to my house and gave me older tiles or tiles from another property not the same ones that I had purchased directly from Gulf eagle supply. When I called the owner of the company, he told me that we never did anything, but I do have photos of his people working on my roof. As a result of this, I have been receiving many HOA complaints since the roofing tiles do not match and I've been receiving fines. When I called the owner, he simply deferred blame. I know that the employees were not licensed because when I had asked them, they told me that they did not have the proper licensing, and that their roofing experience was limited. So I bit the question, what the hell are they doing on my roof then?
