When my system was installed about 18 months ago the installation went well. You can always tell the truth of a company based on what happens "after" the sale. We spent close to 50k on solar panels. Our inverter went out late August. They sent out a tech to try to fix it several times. The fix would last a few days then fail. We were finally approved for a new inverter. We had to wait for the warranty to be approved then the unit to be delivered then for it to be installed. We lost the ability to generate energy on and off until last week. (Aug-Nov) When I asked to be compensated for the loss of the ability to generate power due to faulty equipment I was told that the company would look into it and ask management. I was contacted today that $69.00 is all that was approved. So from late August to the end of November we were not generating power from the panels consistently. We were patient waiting for a fix and to be told $69 is disappointing today the least. Please be careful when considering to do business with this company. I understand needing to take time to fix an issue but not to help the customer with the loss of solar for over three months isn't how you take care of customers. I wouldn't recommend them.

Conversation between the manager and I. They uploaded out of order but are numbered for clarity.

I reached out to multiple solar companies for a quote on March 19th, explaining that I was price comparing to Ion Solar. I received an initial response from Destiny the next morning (3/20), which was great. They asked questions to be able to build a quote which I answered right away. She then said that they have a showroom and I asked the hours it was open. I did not commit to any appointment at the showroom. She followed up with me again in the afternoon on Friday, but I was unpacking so I didn't respond. I assumed since I answered all the questions that she would email me the quote. I didn't hear anything back so I went forward with Ion Solar (for multiple reasons, primarily pricing and equipment). I received a call from Destiny yesterday (3/27) asking if I'd like to come in and review the quote. I explained that since I hadn't heard back from her I already moved forward with Ion, she thanked me and that was that. Or so I thought. She then told me that her manager wanted to earn my business and be reached out. See screenshots. This manager is condescending as hell.

My husband and I have done a lot of research on solar companies in Las Vegas. We finally decided to stop by Sol-Up's on-site location near Dean Martin and the Flamingo/I15 exit. We had scheduled an appointment for 5:30 P.M. on a Thursday, but arrived slightly earlier around 5:00 P.M! The team member at the front welcomed us and checked us in. We were then provided a tour of Sol-Up. We got to see a variety of their solar panels and how it would be placed on the roof. During the tour, we also got a chance to see all of the plugin electric capabilities that Sol-Up offered and even some of the electric bikes! It was pretty cool! After the tour, we sat down with the sales representative to go over the NV energy analysis and the type of panels Sol-up offered. We were there on-site for a few hours, going through all of the different options and technologies! From there, we scheduled a site-visit assessment at our house to take a look at the roof and confirm if the solar panel layout, initially discussed, would work. The team member who came out to our house was fantastic! He let us know that the initial design wouldn't work but provided a recommendation with changing some of the panel locations or potentially even different panel sizes! We had such a wonderful experience with Sol-Up! Sol-Up is one of the longest operating solar companies in Las Vegas, and Sol-Up also operates in California! I highly recommend this company if you're looking at solar options!

UPDATE: Guess What? Sol-Up NOW does windows and doors. Same company, Same Guy, Frank, in charge. Michael Sweet handles the Door/Windows install set-up. They use TOP-OF-THE-LINE products and the Installers are Perfectionist. The wife and I couldn't be happier with our Brand New Provia Door and Storm Door install. We now have natural light into our previously "dark entrance way" and it brightens the entire house. If you're looking for Solar or Window/Door installers, save yourself the time and effort and GET THE BEST IN THE VEGAS AREA (we are in Henderson) The service after the sale is unbelievable. Sol-Up set-up processes are simple and they're in touch with you routinely throughout the whole process and even after it's done to make sure that you're 110% satisfied. https://solup.com/

We love our house, and the thought if moving wasn't a pleasant thought. We had Renewal by Anderson to our house 6 years ago. They quoted us $42,000 to replace 14 windows. We couldn't afford it and gave up that idea. Then I was reading up on windows again and read about Anlin windows. After reading reviews on window installer I called the Window and Door Store. They came out showing me a sample of an Anlin window. I was very impressed not only with the product but also the installer. The warranty with Anlin is far better than Anderson. The quote came in at less than half of what Anderson quoted. Sold! The windows were installed by a great & efficent team of Jacob, Isaac, Chris, Angel and another whose name I cannot recall. I am sorry about that. I am so happy with windows and I hardly hear anything outside now. Thank you Window & Door store!!

The price was beyond reasonable and the quality of the windows are superb. Doug came and gave me a quote without any pressure of adding on more windows, like he said once I get a few I will want more and I did!!! The installers are so quick I'm still in shock, to remove and replace all 6 windows it took 4 hours! Chris, Vincent and Angel did a great job. I highly recommend this company if you need any windows you will not be disappointed!!! Great customer service I'm already thinking of finishing off the rest of the windows

Zach said the cold air results from the laws of physics, convection of room air, etc. None of it explained why we replaced 20-year-old windows that leaked cold drafts and replaced them with new Andersen windows that also created cold drafts and cost us over $60K! One of them tried to make us feel better by saying the new windows would save us money during the hot summer. I reminded him I bought the windows for all four seasons, not one. This is not the quality and service we expected from this company. If the Andersen salesperson Kris Riggs told us to expect cold drafts to occur, we would never have signed the contract. I produced a video documenting this draft problem with the Andersen windows, so none of these problems are in our imagination. This video was shown to Zach and Cody. Buyer beware of Renewal by Andersen. Their energy-efficient windows are not so energy-efficient.

I had a back patio door with windows installed at my home in North Las Vegas in November 2025, replacing a leaking door that was part of the original construction. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Zach, the manager overseeing the project, was hands-on and attentive throughout the installation. Kevin and Gio took hours to make sure everything was done perfectly -- adjusting the fit down to a quarter of an inch and even reinstalling my screen door so nothing was overlooked. Their level of care and attention to detail was truly impressive. What stood out most was how conscientious and kind everyone was at every step. They didn't rush, didn't cut corners, and genuinely cared about getting it right. This team truly practices what they preach when it comes to customer service and craftsmanship. I give Renewal by Andersen my highest recommendation for their integrity, attention to detail, and outstanding customer care. Experiences like this make it easy to understand how this company has lasted for over 100 years.

As this was our first experience searching for window replacement services, we didn't quite know what to expect. Universal Windows Direct of Las Vegas was the first company to stop by our residence. It was a same day appointment. As soon as we called in, a team member arrived at our house in the evening. We informed the team member about several of our windows and the crack in one of the panes. After inspecting the windows, he had taken all the necessary measurements. From there, we went down to discuss quotes. A example window replacement was provided. He had mentioned it would be better to replace all of the windows in the house to match since the new design would look completely different from the builder grade windows we have now. After informing the team member that we were really just looking into the 3 windows in the upstairs bedrooms, the team member provided the quote. Due to pricing and the difference in the window compared to the current windows in the house, we decided not to move forward with Universal Windows Direct of Las Vegas.

Honestly, if I would have taken more time to digest the plethora of negative comments and opinions…read moreabout Universal Windows, we would have moved a completely different direction. We replaced every window in the house in cash as requested as the progress was suggested by UW. Yes, Jeff was our sales person. Yes, he and the many, many different individuals will blow up your phone during the process unnecessarily. As we started this process on 2/27/26. The windows were installed 6/26, the first week. This did take two days for the entire house which was communicated that this could happen. No big deal. What is a big deal, as the pictures will show and document, UW does NOT provide a finisher to tidy up the new work completed. I have been in contact with Jeff and have requested this be completed as we even purchased the paint to match. They have scheduled and rescheduled multiple times. July 2nd, July 6th, July 7th and have canceled on the same day, during the time they are supposed to arrive. They now have us scheduled AGAIN July 11th. Btw today's date is 7/9/26. As you will notice the consistencies with this company. Poor customer service =Poor reviews. Repeatedly. Believe the sales pitch, calling the manager John, for an unbelievable discount and price, you're getting the best deal ever, blah, blah, blah. For almost $30k to replace builder grade 30 year old windows, which is a huge investment, we should get what we paid for at the bare minimum. This company has no follow through, no commitment, no time for you once you pay. This is now into the second month of getting them to just "finish" what they started, so we (hopefully) never have to communicate with them again. Believe the reviews. Look elsewhere. Anywhere else.
