I appreciated that the team provided the quote same day and that it was so simple! Booking an appointment for a onsite review was a breeze. We couldn't afford it and gave up that idea. Then I was reading up on windows again and read about Anlin windows. After reading reviews on window installer I called the Window and Door Store. They came out showing me a sample of an Anlin window. I was very impressed not only with the product but also the installer. The warranty with Anlin is far better than Anderson. The quote came in at less than half of what Anderson quoted. Sold! The windows were installed by a great & efficent team of Jacob, Isaac, Chris, Angel and another whose name I cannot recall. Placed our order & they were so good about keeping us updated (there was a delay) as to our status. We bought a house built in 1962 in Charleston Heights, Las Vegas. Nothing much has been truly modernized. We had the opportunity to replace our patio glass and screen door. I believe it was the original and it showed! We had a visit with the representative in mid-November who provided us with all the details of the framing, the colors, the work plan, the pricing and the decision was made on the spot to do the work on December 6 because we were impressed with our options. A technician came by soon after and he measured and carefully explained more about the proposed date of installation. We received multiple communications about our install and sure enough, bright and early on Wednesday, December 6, Austin and his team were on site and draping the door area with dust covers. They were fine with our 3 curious dogs. Everyone was acquainted!! All along the course of the job, they explained what was happening. They arrived at 7:30 and by 11:30 it was pretty much done. The place was clean from the dust screen but they vacuumed and cleaned the area better than it was before. We are so in love with this door that we cannot stop talking about it! The glass prevents heat from passing through. The screen is so clear and clean we cannot see it. We picked a very simple white molding. It is a very elegant new feature in our old house. This is a full service window and door store that will come out and contract the ordering of the materials and handle installation. The down side is that they only really have two products to choose from and these windows have extra wide frames that require a lot of modification to existing construction in order to accommodate them. You will loose a lot of opening space. There is virtually no selection and they apparently are contracted to only sell from a few makers, I was told they will not install any products a customer orders. read more

I just had 13 windows and a sliding glass door replaced in my house. It only took them less than 2 days and my house was transformed. My house is not only quieter but the A/C doesn't run nearly as much. Hector did an amazing job on the sliding glass door that ended up being more difficult than was anticipated. The brand Anlin kept coming up in our searches with amazing reviews. At the moment, The Window and Door Store is the only seller of this brand here in Las Vegas. So far, we couldn't be happier. We found them at a booth at the San Gennaro festival down at the M. We had purchased an older condo that had been flipped a few months ago, but they left the original windows and patio door, which didn't really secure properly, and were pretty useless when it came to being thermally insulated. The Window and Door Store offers double pane windows filled with argon gas that insulate a home really well. So we super wanted to make this upgrade to our home, but also our budget is a little tight (I'm a teacher and my wife is a coach, and we have a 5 year old). Fortunately, their people made sure that it could happen for us. They were never even slightly pushy... I am actually one of those people who will run at the first sign of guilt-tripping sales tactics. But our rep, Mike Vitale, was incredibly matter-of-fact, informative, calm, and collected throughout the process, laying out all the different options at each step of the game. After a home invasion I had to replace broken windows and sliding glass door on the south side of my home. This company is wonderful to work with, from sales person to installers. Also, I am very surprised at the effectiveness of the new glass technology. Yesterday the outside temp in Las Vegas peaked at 93 degrees and my home only reached 77 degrees. This without closing any blinds over the windows, and i have not turned on my AC yet this year. These windows keep in the heat in winter and keep out the heat in summer. I am still amazed.
