THE MOUTH MAN PROPHECIES Solace Dental has wonderful staff and gorgeous facilities. It's safe to say that while most people don't enjoy going to the dentist, some may hate them more than others (although 'hate' is such a strong word I'd reserve for Yankees fans, the cheatin' Astros and people who don't use their turn signal). My wife signed up our family with Solace Dental in 2020 and it's been great ever since. You wouldn't think much of them based on their location near a Dollar Tree in the northwest corner of Boughton & Weber Rd, but Solace is pristine on the inside. The waiting room is clean, tastefully decorated for the season, and every patient room has a TV. Most of their equipment is state-of-the-art. Dr. Zaidi is simply awesome, although his brother doesn't have quite the same rapport or gentle touch. All of the dental assistants and front desk staff are SUPER friendly, possibly the nicest people I've ever encountered outside of Chik-fil-A. They're a good-looking bunch, too, though that's neither here nor there. On a prior visit they were running behind which made for a much longer wait than usual, but that was an isolated incident and recently I was in & out quickly. They accept most insurance plans and copay amounts are generally reasonable. I can't think of a negative thing to say about them. * TL;DR * Do you swear to pull the tooth, the whole tooth, and nothing but the tooth, so help you god? Whether you're scheduling a routine cleaning or a more involved procedure (queue the whirring dentist drill), Dr Zaidi and his team are dedicated to a positive patient experience. They use cutting-edge technology and are consummate professionals through & through. Scheduling and communication is always on-point. If you're thinking about switching dental providers, do it. I have been a patient at Solace Dental since before Dr. Zaidi took over several years ago. They have renovated the entire office and seem to have the state of art technology. I'm super impressed with how well the practice is doing. I do feel a little bit that they try to "up-sell" me while I'm there, but no one is pushy about the additional services they offer. Dr. Zaidi is personable and friendly. I choose to bring my kids to the same practice after they were born because they really make you feel at home, when many are terrified of the dentist. I am about to embark on an Invisalign journey to straighten my teeth after having braces as a teen. Although I was originally somewhat hesitant to use my long- standing dentist over an orthodontist, I felt secure after finding out about Solace Dental's Gold invisalign provider status and having all my questions answered confidently. Wonderful staff! Made me feel comfortable. They explained the work that needed to be done and made sure I understood.

First, the people there are very, very nice. However, their prices are ridiculous compared to others I got a 2nd and 3rd opinions from to keep everyone honest. For 3 extractions, bone grafts and implants, they started at $19,000! Giving me a break, they discounted it to just under $13,000. A dentist at Affordable Dentures and implants in Downers Grove, has countless 5 star reviews. Their price? just under $6,000. What an incredible office. It started before I ever arrived. The women they have on the phones will truly give you the best service you've experienced. They are so thoughtful and kind and exceptionally polite when they speak. Then I got into the office and it was exactly the same. Superb. They seem to really care about people. I've been a client here for quite a while. Originally came here when the place first opened when Dr. Cruz-Gonzalez came here from Loyola University Medical Center. I loved the kindness offered and the quality of the work performed. Since 2013, I've had my regular checkups, braces and teeth whitening done here. And occasionally I may have upset her a number of times because I didn't follow the regimen prescribed to get my teeth perfectly aligned. But that was only because she was dedicated to her craft. She was a sweetheart and it was sad to see her leave unexpectedly. I especially loved to opportunity she gave to future hygienists by providing the students learning experience working in her office. Dr. Zaidi has taken over the business and seems to be doing an excellent job. He came and greeted me in the waiting area and personally gave me an update on the status of the business and I very much appreciated that. It's difficult to get used to a new dentist after building a repoire with someone for so long. However, after 1 visit with the new Dr., I can assure you that loyal customers are in good hands. Solace Dental is at Bolingbrook, and is such an awful place. When I went to another dentist to get an examination, they only charged me $70 for the whole oral X-Ray, but Solace Dental charged me $124 for the same X-Ray on 1/27/21. Then, I was told for a deep cleaning procedure, it would take only 20 minutes. I proceeded with the procedure and I was charged for $327.60. The worst part was it was not a deep cleaning procedure at all-- just their standard cleaning procedure. I feel awful and uncomfortable about their complete lack of honesty and their sketchy ways. This is something that needs to be disclosed to the public. read more

I had an amazing experience here at Dr. Zaidi's office! Everyone was very welcoming and kind. I called the receptionist to let her know I was running a couple minutes late and she was so sweet about it! There was barely any wait time as soon as you check in and if you do wait a few minutes then you can help yourself to the cutest little coffee bar they have to offer. The office itself was clean, professional and modern with its decor. The dental assistant that works along with Dr. Zaidi is beyond a sweetheart! She is so caring and makes sure that you are fully aware of every step she takes and wants to make sure you're comfortable as well. Dr. Zaidi himself is very professional but also keeps you entertained as well! The check up process was very smooth and quick. I loved that I was being informed every step of the way.
