Dining room was pretty full and only one (not too friendly) person working. We waited 10 minutes for him to finish with drive up orders and get to us at the counter. I noticed another employee in the back cleaning & asked if he was working alone. He made excuses saying his helper was getting "ready to close"... at 3 pm? We finally got our coffee & I asked if he had a small plate for my 92 year-old mother to put her pastry on. He said no... all of his plates were in the dish room. Usually I have an excellent experience at all Solar Roasts, but today was a huge let down. The attitude on the workers was not very welcoming, in fact we almost went somewhere else because they weren't very welcoming when we came in the door. Then we got our coffee and it was terrible, mostly milk in the Carmel macchiato and lavender white mocha and the filbert mocha no filbert flavor or coffee. And pastry selection wasn't great, no danish or coffee cake. This place used to be the best, but I feel like with the growth they've lost their place in good customer service and good coffee. We have been coming here for years and have watched decline. Today 1:15pm no pastries. Did have a three day old scone that was dried out bitter (too much baking powder). Used to really like Quiche but has changed not good. Looking for new spot. read more

This was my first time to visit this coffee shop today. The location was okay off of Northern Avenue, there was plenty of parking, the parking lot was clean, there was a drive-thru, the building outside looked appealing and new, the inside of the restaurant was clean and a lot of different kinds of seating including a couple nice, comfortable couches, the room temperature in the dining room was quite warm, the employee who served me was mildly friendly, but looked a bit annoyed that I was spoiling his quiet mid-afternoon (it was 1:45pm on a Saturday), I got the dark roast since they didn't have any medium roast brewed (disappointing), my average-priced coffee was served barely Luke-warm (again, disappointing) but tasted good, they had relaxing music playing in the dining room, and they had free wi-fi that worked well. read more

Found this place after a hike in the mountains. The cappuccino was spot on perfect. I also added a tofu scramble with salsa. Wow that is so good. I went through the drive thru at noon. The service was friendly, the food was made to order and the meal was great. I'd like to go back and try more things! read more

This one is not as good as the one downtown. I got the chicken pesto croissant sandwich and my friend got the bacon and egg sandwich. I also got the Pueblo mocha. Both sandwiches were decent. The mocha was not as spicy as I would've liked or as the one in the Solar roast downtown. While I'm happy there is one here, I think I'll stick to the one downtown. read more

Lousy coffee. Ordered a cold brew coffee with mocha and hazelnut with 3 shits espresso. Was told espresso don't mix well with cold brew. But Starbucks, Dunkin' and Scooters coffee shops have no problem making my coffee correctly. read more

This Colorado Roastery is in old town Pueblo and easy to access from I 25. Their food menu is awesome as well. Farm fresh to table with healthy coffee is what the world needs more of. The food and coffee has gotten worse the more locations they open. They don't make all drinks available to everyone because they refuse to make blended drinks for anyone who can't have dairy, even though they own blenders. They made it a company wide policy to not make substitutions to the coffee based granitas. I have been a customer for years. I've stopped supporting them. read more

This place has some of the best espresso south of Denver! The staff is highly attentive and kind, and the Thea (manager) knows "good" coffee which makes this place my favorite to go in South P-town. They have a kids room that you can let the young's create some chaos while poppa enjoys a green chile latte in harmony. Record selection is always awesome thanks to Mile and Dave's flavor.
