Justin provided needed service and fixed my system ownership records when no one else would. He added panels. I installed a system on a lease paid for with one upfront payment. The lessor went out of business and sent me a letter and bill of sale saying that I owned the system. But they did not change the record of ownership in the Enphase Enlighten app. Consequently no vendor would service the system as the maintenance responsibility still showed as being with the bankrupt lessor. Justin understood the problem and managed to change the ownership in the app. He replaced two defective Enphase micro inverters under warranty. After fixing the inverters I talked to Justin about adding to the existing system. He provided a reasonable quote. When I said that I needed a design to present to my HOA to get approval he produced a 20 page detailed technical design document. For the size of the add on the effort and professionalism of the design was special. He did the add on (seven panels) integrating it into the existing hardware and having it show on the Enphase Enlighten app as if the addition was part of the initial installation. When his planned use of some of the existing conduit for new wiring did not work he installed new conduit without complaint. His partner/technician Apollo is very skilled. I think that being named after the God Apollo is inaccurate and being in the solar business it should have been Ra the Egyptian sun god. Solar Tuneup's communication is simply outstanding! Justin answered inquiries promptly. He communicated arrival times with reminders and showed up on time. He is easy to talk to and eager to explain his service and any other questions that you might have. He documented his service calls with a photo record of his activities. Justin from Solar Tuneup responded quickly from an inquiry on Yelp for cost and availability quote. I gave my address and house/panels description which can also be seen from google maps. Justin gave me the most reasonable quote and an available time slot, which I accepted. He came the next day and within an hour was done. The before&after photos that were included in the work report were professional and thorough. All those years of dirt and dust were completely washed off , and my panels now look brand new. I ran into a dilemma where my solar provider went bankrupt, and I was left clueless about what to do. I dug and found a 3rd party service provider that was friendly enough, found the issue, but tried to upsell what I didn't need just to 'resolve' the issue. Well, the tune of $4k to fix a problem that should be easy enough didn't go down well. I was talking with a colleague about my dilemma, and he responded with...I've got the guy for you! If I could give Justin more than 5 stars, I would! Our installer closed which created a big problem for us as they warranty the labor portion of any repairs. Many solar companies will only service the systems that they install so I was confused as to how to proceed. I did obtain a quote from another company (twice as expensive) to replace two micro inverters. The other company offered to hose down the panels but these were really soiled and needed scrubbing. Justin came out, was friendly, prompt, knowledgeable and got the job done. He scrubbed the panels and they are performing much better than before. He even worked with Enphase to update the serial numbers of the replaced parts and then returned the broken inverters! I'm so relieved! Thanks Justin! read more

I received their flyer at just the right time. My box was not registering 2 panels. I called Solar Tuneup and Justin indicated that it could be my inverters. But i had another issue my system was off line. Justin showed up early and got my system back on-line. Justin did a great job cleaning my 26 panel system. My solar panels were very dirty since they had not been cleaned in over 2 years. When Justin was finished they looked brand new which was the result I was hoping for since the panels are on the front side of my house facing the street.
