If I could give this place zero stars I would. The signs that point to it make it seem like it's public parking. But it's a total scam. The prices for the hourly parking are hidden on the way in and it's on the way out that you find out they charge $55 for less than three hours. $55? I've never paid $55 for an overnight at an airport parking lot. This is ridiculous. Especially when the public parking lot that is one block over only charges two dollars an hour, or free after 3 PM during the summer! minus 5 star rating- screwed up and parked there for two and half hours on a Sunday evening and when I exited the garage and scanned the parking ticket it showed a 20 dollar charge. Got back to my hotel and my credit card notified me of a 65 dollar charge. Should have taken a taxi or an uber for that price. Avoid this place. read more

Never park here! They are absolute scum bags. We parked before Christmas and came out to find our car vandalized by the owner and illegally booted when we're parked in the space. There were no signs and no reason to do this. They then forced us to pay an exorbitant amount $150 To get out of their garage, which my only other options was drive through their gates. This place is the definition of scam artist and absolute scum. Every single review on here is a 1 star and they don't even deserve that. This garage is misleading with its "public" name even though it's a private lot that the police (already called them) can't do anything about. This garage will charge you more than what the price was listed or what you thought u were paying, and boot your car for absolutely no reason. I was booted yesterday and the sketchy guy who booted my tire ONLY WANTED CASH, and there was no where to go dispute or try to pay with card legitimately. Only cash is an immediate red flag, especially in a rich village like vail. The guy gave me a ticket with Westerly Hospital Public Safety and L&M hospital public safety numbers on it, which is located in RHODE ISLAND!!! I will attach the photo of the ticket. The reason for immobilization was "NO SUVS". Parking is free after 3pm publicly in vail and this was at 4pm yesterday, so that in itself is a scam by this garage. There is no website or any number on the ticket other than the sketchy guys personal cell phone number. I called Vail parking and the woman on the phone was so disgusted by my report that she transferred me to the vail police. DO NOT PARK HERE, DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE A SINGLE PENNY of your money. If I could give this a 0 star I would. When we arrived , we clicked "print ticket" and nothing printed but the garage did open. No signs anywhere and a line later we decided to move forward and parked. I went in to look for the address to pin it when I saw all the reviews and immediately panicked. I called every number found and no one answered, I saw there was a pay in cash and after asking around 15 min later on a kiosk we paid $75 dollars CASH because they don't take card. Illegally booted my truck. Said I was taking up 2 parking spots. Only took up one. Asked to speak to the manager. CHILD said he was the manager. This is a scam parking garage. They say rates are posted but they were not I couldn't find the rate. It says public parking so you get the idea it's Vail public parking. It is not owned by Solaris. They should not allow this business in their nice condo building I called Solaris and they get complaints all the time. I ran into town for one hour and was charged $35.00. I called the parking manager and he said that's the price and won't credit me. The town of Vail should not allow such tourist unfriendly predatory companies to operate like this. We took our F350 here because we were camping about 30 minutes away, kids in tow and we were parked on the line (keep in mind very large truck in a parking garage and still need to be able to open doors for car seats etc..) "double parked" . We come back to a boot on the truck saying we owe 200$ "cash" to get the boot off. I sent my wife to the front to take a picture to show where it says this is the penalty for "double parking"..... the only place it says it is on the exit lane which would not typically be visible to vehicles entering the garage, and that sign says 50$ fee, these booth operators and as far as I'm concerned Solaris as a company are a bunch of crooks and scammers preying on tourists. My wife was nearly in tears with an infant that needed to eat and a toddler that doesn't like to stay still, so I take matters into my own hands and swap the tire for the spare. I go to the booth, pay my outrageous parking costs of 50$ for less than 2 hours and then the guy asked where his boot was, I said oh buddy Im gonna have some words with you standby, so I pulled through the gate and parked. I said show me a visible sign when you drive through that says you are subject to this type of harassment and penalty, he pointed to the sign in the exit lane (which is probably purposefully placed out of view by these crooks) and then he goes on about how he could call the cops, I said go for it buddy, we're on private property and I haven't broken the law, cops are law enforcement not crooked business policy enforcement, he then ended up doing what he knew was right and he took the boot off the tire in the bed of the truck. Now if I had left with the boot in the truck that could have been theft although I think I would have had a solid argument considering a private entity put a contraption on my vehicle against my will.
