Had my Lexus GS300 tinted at Solarworks in 2004 (not a typo, yes 13 yrs ago). Passenger side developed a long bubble (from wind?) across the window over a 2 month period. I called a few shops and also called Solarworks. Explained what happened and all had similar price points to fix the problem. Solarworks asked where the work was done and if I had the receipt (of course I did... don't judge me). I was shocked that after 13 years, Solarworks replied... "bring it in with the receipt"... CAUTION- It says Solar Works on the door, but it is no longer authorized to operate under that name. The REAL Solar Works has a judgement against this particular one and the manufacturers will be pulling their tint from them. It also took them 3 tries to get my basic Honda Accord tint done correctly. I spent probably 9 hours total sitting in the waiting room. This location's quality of tint and also their business ethics should cause you to go elsewhere. Solar Works is a great company (the real ones) and I highly recommend the one off hwy 9 in the Roswell area. Stay away from the Cumming (so called) Solar Works!!! read more

At their suggestion, I did the ceramic tint. It's an insane amount of difference with heat from the sun, I absolutely love it. There was a spot where there was a small piece of debris under the tint, and Stephen took care of it for me no problem at all. I'll definitely be going back, they're easy to talk to, easy to work with, and get the job done. read more

I have had my tint done 3 times and it's still not good. We are taking our car somewhere else and wasted our money. I can't recommend them.

My husband brought his car in to have the glass tinted last month. The customer service was friendly and easy to work with for him. Solarworks was able to get him into the shop quickly (he called on Wednesday and was able to get the car in Friday morning). Their pricing was very competitive and the end result is great. The windows look fantastic. Overall, I would recommend this vendor to anyone who is looking for glass tinting on their vehicle. read more

Unfortunately I wish I could give this place 0 stars! They supposedly "warranty" their tint for the lifetime of the car as long as you own it and have paperwork. I have a 2008 Honda Accord and I went in to get the tint fixed that started to bubble from their previous work and they were completely willing to fix it free of charge (because I had my paper work and have had 3 vehicles tinted with them before) said they would take care of me. Everything was going so well...until they "re-tinted" it. They left standing water in my trunk, put a scratch in the back window, man handled my ceiling/headliner in my car (black handprints everywhere), my radio would not work because so much water got down in the speakers, there is now water damage on the headliner/ceiling of my car, they said they didn't remove my speakers to tint the very back window but yet the screws that bolted down one of my speakers were just left laying in my trunk so my speakers and whole back window panel rattled and was not put back together properly. I addressed all of this with them said they'd fix it and take care of me again so I gave them another shot. Went to pick my car up no one was there and it was left unlocked. Some stranger who is supposedly a friend of the owner walked up and gave me my keys to my car. When the owner got there I addressed my issues with him he called me a picky bitch, screamed, yelled, threw his hands all up in the air, etc. told me to get off his property and that he was not going to fix it and that they all leave their cars unlocked there and that I didn't have valuable items in my car anyways so it didn't matter and besides he has cameras on the property. ***Be cautious...Pictures posted below*** read more

Unfortunately, I went to this establishment with my brand new car. I had it two days. It had 62 mikes on it. This place had me wait over two hours although I had an appointment. When I went to get into my car it gad a HUGE dent right in the middle of the door. Apparently they slammed it into their pole or with another car in their bay. I politely asked them how the HUGE dent in NY brand new car happened they yelled at me and told me to leave there property!! I am so surprised the chamber of commerce hasn't shut them down. Or that local law enforcement has not shut them down. The tint job looked as though my little 6 year old did it. Yes, it was that bad!!! Bubbles all over overt window and the tint was already scratched. Also, it was put on lobsided. I emplor you not to take your car here. If you read these reviews and still go there then you deserve the disaster that most likely will occur. They are extremely unprofessional and are not honest. Believe me, save yourself some anguish and give the tint roll to your little children as they will do a better job by far! Besides, then your car won't be damaged either. I took my 24 foot Baja Power boat to them to have the upholstery re-done on the rear seats and it has been a disaster! I have taken it back to them several times now to have it repaired where they screwed it up and have yet to have it fixed properly. The lines in the upholstery are extremely crooked and the entire job looks like an amature has done the work. They used screws that were not only standard metal which zare already rusted but they are too long and have torn through the seat and stabbed into peoples feet and butt when they have used the rear seat. I took it back to Bobby who said he would have it fixed by Tuesday but when I called Tuesday he was off. I called back Wednesday and it was pouring down rain. I came in Wednesday and it said it was all done but when I got the boat home they had not touched anything at all on the boat. To add insult to injury they will no longer return my calls and Bobby tells me Steven, the owner, no longer wants to speak with me. The underside of the rear seat is put together incorrectly so the pneumatic lifts flex the rear seat and to close the seat is tearing into the side portions. I have paid them a total of $1100 total now because they were going to also repair the damage to the side panels. Bobby the upholstry guy admitted to me that for the additional $200 all he did is remove one screw from the side panel and re-staple into rotten wood which naturally didn't hold so he super glued it which again didn't hold. I have now had the boat back in the shop at lease 10 times and the owner Stephen now doesn't want to speak with me about it any more. Every time they promise the boat will be done by ____ date it isn't done and they don't even bother to call me to explain I have to call them and it is always another excuse. I have now sent a registered letter stating they either fix the problems or I will bring it to a reputable company and take them to small claims court for the cost of repair. They haven't even bothered to call me to try to work it out. I don't know how they can stay in business. I have missed most of the summer while my boat has sat at their shop not being repaired. I will be taking this matter up with them in court (if they show) and I have plenty of pictures to show the shotty work they have done. I am insulted that they won't even attempt to work it out with me but that is what the court system is for. Save your self a lot of trouble and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! read more
