If you are hoping for a full-body experience with your foot massage, I highly recommend this place. If you were hoping for 60 minutes of actual foot massage, you might want to pass. My first time here was really amazing. Logan provided an amazing foot and back massage and the owner Carol was very friendly and welcoming. I thought everything was clean, professional and relaxing. I got the $40 special that was 30 min foot massage 30 min back massage. Started with a face massage that was so dang relaxing that I immediately decided I need this service monthly! Then the foot and leg massage - so great - I started to fall asleep! He did my neck a bit in the chair and I guess since I was so relaxed I didn't have a sense of time and I thought that was the back massage. so when he was done I was a bit disappointed. But then he pointed to the massage table and I was like whooooo!! 30 more minutes of bliss! And it was. And the best thing: he didn't talk! AT ALL! I don't want that to sound horrible - but when I go in search of peace and quiet relaxation from my toddler and responsibilities...I do not want to chat about anything. He was kind and professional and respectful of the purpose - to relax and refresh the body! I will definitely be back. Carol says her employees are massage therapists working on their internship hours for their license. Please correct me if I have that wrong - but that added some confidence for me as a customer that this place is legit and professional - and why it's so inexpensive to get a wonderful massage. I had made an appointment at Massage Envy the following day (I was really racking up the 'me time' since I had an unprecedented weekend with my husband watching our daughter) - and it was NOT relaxing. I really enjoyed the massage here. I've only ever been to one other foot massage place nearby, but I've been going once/month for the past year - at least. So when they were busy, I drove on over to Sole Relax. I was taken in right away. I decided with the $25 foot massage (one hour). At first I was nervous because my masseuse started massaging my face with lotion. I have very sensitive skin and will break out if thick lotion is used on my face. I figured, it's worth it, it feels good, get over your anxiety and just went with it (of course I did break out the next day, but oh well). They started with my face, worked to my neck and shoulders before moving on to my feet (soaking comfortably in hot water). She spent a good amount of time on my feet before moving to my back and head and everywhere else. At some point I almost fell asleep, but caught myself before I made any weird grunts or snores. Whew. The pressure was perfect the whole time. Not too hard, but definitely worked on some kinks. I will definitely come back here. I really love my other place too, so I might just switch back and forth. The only complaint I have is that they have these automatic scent-spraying machines that are really really strong. I had to breathe through my mouth for most of the time I was there because it's really perfumy. Otherwise, great experience. Oh, I paid with my debit card and tipped on there as well. They were fine with it, even though there is a sign saying they prefer cash tips. I didn't have any on me, but will try to the next time. read more

Disclaimer: this is specifically centered around the chair back massage they offer. Whatever you do, do NOT order any type of chair massage. Get one on a bed. I went here because I saw some really great reviews and was like "why not", but now I'm just asking "why". Good service but flawed experience. Like I explained earlier I got the full back chair massage, but I am not walking out feeling like I got a back massage. Bad parts: 1- they put me in a chair right in front of the entrance and around the time the session was over a party of 6 people walk in the door. I don't know about you but I would prefer some privacy during my massage. It's one thing if they never saw my face, but they did, they stared, and it was awkward. 2- the chair creaked a lot 3- he put my face on a paper towel... cheap move 4- I asked for a back massage and got a shoulder, neck, and arm massage with a slight emphasis on the back. I don't feel very different. Good parts: 1- excellent service. The guy that helped me was very sweet and attentive. 2- soothing music and good mood lighting if I wasn't right in front of the door. 3- nice service guy gave me a cup of tea before I left. Overall: I'm sure this place is great but they have a crammed space and apparently couldn't make enough room for a chair massage, so I'm left thinking that this was either poor decision making or just lack of space. One of the better massages I've had in my life. I've done the 60 min foot massage many times. And this last time I split it. 30 min feet/30 min back. The massage itself was perfect. I just wish the setting was more relaxing. I heard lots of noises. And the phone rings often, and with no one hired to answers phones, the masseuse needs to. Oh well, I'll still continue going. A great place to get a pretty awesome massage for a great price. I've been twice now and have gotten the 60 min foot reflexology massage. They start with your head, neck and shoulders (while your feet soak in warm water) and then give you a thorough foot massage followed by a back massage. I really feel rejuvenated after one hour and the price is such that I could come once a week! The only downside is the "lobby" is right behind the massage area separated by a curtain so you can hear people easily but it certainly wouldn't deter me from going back. Check it out! read more

I am one to get massage everywhere I go, so I have a lot of experience with many styles of massage. I had not, however, known of Chinese Foot Massage. I was invited to come to Sole Relax while my family and I were on vacation in Seattle. The drive to Kirkland took about a 1/2 hour, and let me tell you it was totally worth it! First of all, a Chinese Foot Massage is way more than you think. Yes, your feet soak in hot water for a period of time before they are massaged using reflexology techniques. During the entire time of the foot soaking, while fully clothed, your head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and fingers, thighs and calves are massaged--at your preferred level of pressure--leaving your feet until last. Through reflexology, your organs are activated. In the end, you feel invigorated and relaxed at once. I went with my husband and 13-year-old daughter. We loved it so much we took the drive one more time during our week-long spring break vacation to do it all over again. Did we like it? We loved it! And it is SO incredibly affordable for the service, expertise and peaceful experience that you really want everybody you love to enjoy this special treatment too. read more

This was hands down the absolute best massage of my life. If you are like me, the biggest reason you get a pedicure is for the massage, which sadly almost always leaves you disappointed. Do yourself a favor and trade the pedi for a combo at Sole Relax and paint your own toes, it's worth it. The price is great and they are friendly and professional. The upper body massage was also AMAZING! Another thing to mention, it is extremely difficult to find a "Deep Tissue" massage that is actually deep tissue. So I don't normally give reviews but this one I couldn't miss out on. So my first time visiting I felt that the massage was pretty good, not giving a receipt I didn't know how the tip was calculated so I desist from doing so. The lady (cashier) demanded a tip and said everyone who came there leave a tip angered by her comment I did not leave any. I kept going because I felt they did a really good job and of course I gave a tip every time because I learned my lesson. So I went again and invite a friend to experience there massage and while leaving I gave them a 20 tip for the both of us. The man started demanded more money saying he did 90minutes and the tip was just for him. My friend was very annoyed by his attitude and I was so embarrassed. They demand money from you like they know how much is in your pocket or how you make your money. I definitely will not be returning! When visiting please bring your $50 tip after a very expensive fine. Unethical! read more

The people that massage there are great but the owner is horrible. We did a $25 foot massage and she imposed a $10.00 tip charge per person on us. That's a 40% tip. We were 3 of us, and we were like you can't impose a 40% tip and she argued extensively with us. While all this was going on we noticed that they don't even change the towels we sleep on. They folded the towels that were used on us and kept it back for Reuse and the ones we slept on where just kept there for the next person. So on whole, poor hygiene and bad customer experience with imposed charges. Go down the street to joy spa instead. Atleast they don't force gratuity on you and are polite. read more

Amazing! Today was my first visit and the 60 minute foot massage left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! Already made my next appointment. Everyone was fantastic, from Carol at the front desk to Kevin (who did my massage) and David (who did my friends massage). I had no problem giving a 40% tip. $35 for a top line reflex massage is hard to come by. Highly recommend. Just make sure you tell your guy how hard or soft you want the massage. read more

I've been to 4 or 5 different local "foot massage" places, so I sort of knew what to expect. The routine was similar: feet in wooden bucket with plastic bag liner, short head/neck/arm massage while feet soaked, then what I thought was a pretty good foot massage. I needed it. Then turn over and a somewhat brisk back massage. All said, good for $25. What was not good: someone who works there sleeping in the curtained off area, snoring fairly loudly the entire hour I was there. Two employees talking loudly right outside the front door the entire time. Loud use of the bathroom--flushing--by employees 4 times. The door to the bathroom is right in the massage room-no separation by a hall way. I knew it was employees because I was the only customer. But the hideous music was the worst aspect. It all sounded like wind up music box covers of bad 70's pop tunes with birds chirping or ocean sounds in the background. Psychosis-inducing. The atmosphere of a massage place needs to be quiet and relaxing this was not. Which doesn't mean I won't go back, I probably will, hopefully I can tune out the noise better than I did today. read more

Got a 30 min chair massage. Never gotten one before, never will again. Sitting in those chairs are not comfortable. But the massage was fine and they offered table as well, I just went with the chair off their recommendation. I'm not a pro but it seems like most Asian massages are less about relaxation and more rough, deep pressure (lots of elbows in you back) type deal and this was exactly that. Paid $30 for $30 min chair massage. Should have just paid the extra $10 for the additional one hour foot and back massage special they where running but I guess that is on me for not asking the price first. read more

My overall experience was exactly that, Meh, I've experienced better. Been to a few other foot massage places and was more impressed with the technique of the massage than this place. The lady that performed my massage seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. It was more of a "petting" massage. I kept asking for firmer massage, but pretty much got the same thing. If you like to get a "light petting" type of massage, this is a place for you. I had an amazing service yesterday and was going to come back monthly as part of my self care BUT when I went to pay for the $35 (60 minute) service then I changed my mind based on how I was treated at checkout. I was so turned off and annoyed to say the least! So here's what happened! I had a $50 bill and I gave my person the money and expected $15 in change. When he handed me the change I gave him a $5 TIP and he looked confused/offended. So it was safe to assume he didn't like that so he asked another co-worker in his language to help as if I as the customer made a mistake. He gives me my $50 bill back and proceeds to get the lady who is typically at the front to help me. She comes and does my transaction all over again as if the math was wrong to begin with and it wasn't. She gives me $15 and I hand her the $5 TIP AGAIN and she says was the services good; and I say yes it was great and she proceeds to point out a laminated piece of paper on the counter that has a list of SUGGESTED TIP amount which was between $10-12 TIP according to her sheet. I said no I am giving you $5 and that's enough and she starts to get frustrated that I won't give more. Here's the thing if the prices don't reflect the person providing the service getting paid enough don't force or bully me into compensating him or her because you want to keep your prices at market value and forces customers to make up the difference. If the service cost $50 including tip then make that a STANDARD not a suggestion and then proceed to harass me because I won't do what you suggested. I CHOOSE HOW MUCH TIP I GIVE NOT YOU! The whole exchange ruined my relaxed state and I walked out so irritated and annoyed and will not come back again! This place was highly recommended and to be handled the way I was is UNACCEPTABLE! read more

I have had both foot massage and body massages at Sole Relax. Never had a bad experience and I have been coming there since they first opened August 2012. Kevin does a great job on back massages. The owner Carol and other massage therapists provide great foot and body massages, so much so that I have fallen asleep sometimes during a foot massage. The massage therapists seem to be in tune with your body and spend extra time on tense areas, usually low back in my case. They are very conscientious by checking in several times regarding pressure. The place and chairs are clean and music is soothing. Highly recommend and an excellent value. read more

This was an amazing massage for being a drop in. I was in the need for some quick TLC and the 30 minute foot and 30 minute body was perfect. I only had to wait 30 minutes for being a drop in and they were wonderful. It felt a little rushed at times but for the most part was wonderful. This place is clean and the people are very polite.
