They discuss with you one thing in appointment room and often times you sign another and they'll go back and forth with you about what you agreed to and 'discussed' like it's a battle who's right or wrong. I told them I was no longer wanting to be a patient and requested my X-rays then the whole mood really changed. Dr Shatto is completely unprofessional and today it really showed the dynamic in their office and what I expected. He came into the room for my fillings, asked why I wanted to leave being a patient, I stated personal reasons, and he stated he would not be able to do my fillings. They gossip about patients sometimes thinking the patient can't hear, this dentist office usually have a totally different moral but now I am glad todays appointment went the way it did and I dodged a bullet. Dr Shatto also recommended Invisalign a costly penny for me which I am not ideal candidate for but still just wanted to make profit on a more severe case. Even after telling me he didn't want to do my fillings, he continued on to discuss my wisdom tooth. Mind you, my wisdom tooth he attempted to take out a couple years ago, he was only able to take out partial which left me in excruciating pain until he was able to take the rest out a week and a half later. Beware. Save the headache and customer service experience, let me be an example.

They have always taken the absolute best care of me. The office is always spotless and conveniently located right off the highway. Everyone there is wonderful - from the front desk staff to the hygienists and assistants to the doctors. They are ALL professional, kind, and genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Hoffman and Dr. Shuman are both outstanding, and I would highly recommend either of them without hesitation. I brought my children here in good faith, expecting a professional and caring environment. Unfortunately, what we experienced was the complete opposite--marked by unprofessional behavior, a lack of empathy, and unnecessarily aggressive treatment toward children. During my first visit, I allowed my son to go back alone, trusting the staff and standard protocol. After the visit, he came out visibly shaken and crying, pleading with me not to take him back. He described how the dentist told him to "shut up" when he expressed that he was in pain and was reportedly rough with his head and mouth. As a parent, it's hard to immediately accept such an account without witnessing it, but I gave the benefit of the doubt--assuming my child may have been exaggerating due to fear. However, during my second visit with different children, I witnessed firsthand behavior that validated everything my son said. My oldest child was audibly crying from the back, clearly in distress. When I entered the room, the dentist was once again telling my child to "shut up" and threatening to stop treatment if he didn't stop crying. I calmly asked the dentist to consider that my son might be in genuine pain or afraid, and requested that he be a bit more gentle and understanding. Instead of showing compassion, the dentist dismissed my concern entirely and replied, "He just needs to be quiet or you can go somewhere else." Shortly after, while I was comforting my son and holding his hand (at the nurse's suggestion), the dentist noticed I had my cell phone in my hand--which I had simply brought in with me as I rushed in upon hearing my child's screams. I was not on a call or recording. He abruptly told me, "You need to take your phone to the waiting room or I won't do anything else." I explained that I wasn't using it and hadn't seen any signage prohibiting phones, but he pointed to a sign and insisted he wouldn't proceed until I physically removed the phone. After complying and returning, I was handed a procedure form to sign. While signing it with one hand and holding my son's hand with the other, the dentist paused mid-treatment and said, "I'm not doing any more work until that paper is signed." I reassured him I was in the process of signing. I then let him know I would like to speak with him once the procedure was complete. Instead of agreeing, he said, "No, you're going to talk to me now." When I repeated that I preferred to speak after treatment, he said, "Then I'm not doing anything to your kids," and walked out of the room. A few minutes later, his assistant returned and told me the dentist had refused to continue service and that I needed to leave or the police would be called. This experience was traumatic for both myself and my children. What should have been a standard pediatric dental visit became an emotionally distressing event due to the dentist's aggressive tone, dismissiveness, lack of compassion, and inappropriate behavior with minors. The dentist's inability to handle young patients with patience and empathy is alarming. I urge any parent considering this office to proceed with caution. Children deserve to feel safe and heard--especially in medical settings. I sincerely hope this review helps bring awareness to this pattern of behavior and encourages change, accountability, or review by proper licensing boards. I will be reporting him to BBB as well as the proper licensing boards.

Dr. Frysh was our amazing family dentist for 20+ years, but since he left, this place has become a fraudulent money grab. The new dentist tried convincing me to replace a perfectly good filling. Two other dentists confirmed nothing was wrong with it and that replacing it would increase infection risk. They also hit my son with a surprise $140 "deep cleaning" charge during his routine appointment, not covered by insurance, of course. This is deliberate fraud. They manufacture fake dental issues to inflate bills and target procedures insurance won't cover. The entire staff is in on it. Save your money and health, find another dentist immediately.
