In February 2020 we purchased our home, going into this house we knew the kitchen needed a full remodel, cabinets, countertops , lighting, appliances, and flooring etc. Since our kitchen was so very small, we knew walls had to come down. We started the challenging task of looking for a contractor. We had contractors come out to give us an estimate. One Contractor even told us for the work we wanted to do and what we were willing to spend, we were not their customers. Roman and Vitaliy from Solid Construction & Design came out to give us an estimate, we went over everything we wanted to do and assured us it was possible, not once did they make us feel that we were being unrealistic. Roman invited us to their show room, He was very patient and knowledgeable helped us with our design ideas. We decided to go with Solid Construction and Design. We scheduled our date for our renovation to begin. They started as scheduled, walls, ceiling (kitchen had a dropped ceiling), flooring and even a step to our entry was removed. Roman suggested we could replace our single door with a side window to double doors (which I love) that was one of the best decisions we made. To our surprise they kept things tidy for being under construction. Vitaliy was our project Forman and anytime some thing came up or any concerns we had, we called him and he was right on it. He walked us through the entire project, he was very patient and understanding with us. The renovation took 7 weeks to complete as expected. Our kitchen came out so beautiful. I am very pleased with the results. Our friends can't believe the transformation. We did a kitchen renovation with Solid Construction that included removal and replacement of our backsplash and countertops. We worked with Oleg and Vic. They were both great, knowledgeable, and professional!! I was also able to contact them easily if needed. For the renovation we kept our current kitchen cabinets and appreciated the fact that they were willing to modify parts of them (including modifying them so we could put a range top in instead of a cooktop and adding an apron front to the sink made out of our new countertops). The workers on our job were great. Vasily and Taras were the main two to work on our job. They are both very talented fabricators and took the time to ensure the counter would look and seam up the best. They were very nice and accommodating and made adjustments as needed. They did great with the waterfall edge and all the mitered edging we had as well. We're very happy with how it all turned out and everything Solid installed is great quality. I also appreciated our project manager Vic coming out at the end of our job to touch up anything that needed it and ensure everything was done properly. They did a great job. Roman, the owner, is great! He is very friendily and knowledgable. I first met him when he was invited by me to do an free estimate of our house reconstruction. We had an awful water damage to our house and the loss was huge, in several hundred thousands. He stood out among all quality project managers that I invited to conduct assessments of the house and provide reconstruction estimates. Throughout the reconstruction, Roman responded in a timely manner even though he was busy. He'd solve any issues right away. His staff members worked hard and did a very good quality job. The field crew led by Kevin was very responsive and paid attention to details. They communicated with the me to make sure my needs were addressed and my requirements were met. In particular, the spiral stairs remodel was a very complex and challenging job. The project manager, Vitaly, was very patient and found the right subcontractors for the job, ensuring the color, the materials, the details, and workmanship were done to our like. Initially, 'Solid Construction & Design' completed a kitchen remodel for us . The project consisted of the installation of new lighting, cabinetry, granite counter-tops, fixtures, flooring, new paint and finishing touches. The project from start to finish was stress free as 'Solid Construction' handled the entire project that we desired to have done. (We didn't have to go through the process of hiring someone to do the floors, another for the cabinets, another to paint and so on.) Also, we knew we wanted to remodel but were not quite sure about the details of the finished project. Solid Construction and Design did a GREAT job on my relatively small bathroom remodel. It is our main guest bathroom in a smaller house, so although it was a big project for us, it was small in terms of Solid Construction's scope of projects. We gave them full access to our home when we were at work - Alex was super respectful and the few times I interacted with him, he was profession and kind. They moved quickly, according to the projected timeline. I appreciated that they did a good job protecting the major pathways during construction and also appreciated their excellent communication when either they or I had questions. They also worked with me in managing the schedule for wallpaper installation by a different party. Vic was an excellent project manager, and Alex, who did most of the actual work, is an expert. They brought in an electrician for the electrical who I did not meet, but everything works fine. They also easily handled my change orders, as there were a couple of unexpected items that I requested. Without hesitation, I give Solid Construction & Design my highest recommendation. read more

So happy with the major remodel Solid completed for me. Basically have a new house and it is fantastic. I have 2 story house, on the first floor basically every wall was moved. Taking down a major load bearing wall and moving kitchen to create a great room. And upstairs both bathrooms were remodeled. I now have a proper (just lovely) master bathroom and walk in closet. Roman was super helpful when I was trying to figure out if what I was envisioning was even possible. And can't say enough about Alex. He did amazing works, he was so nice and great about communicating with me. I had been thinking about remodeling for a couple years and am so grateful to Solid for helping make it happen. We contacted Roman at Solid Construction to help us add a bathroom without changing our roof line. He walked us through how we could turn the indoor laundry room into a second bathroom and move the laundry in to the garage. We got several bids and hired him because we liked his layout and price the best. Our project started and ended on schedule and exceeded our expectations. Vitality was our project manager and he would text me in the evening to let me know who would be coming the next day, what time to expect them, and what they would be doing. I found this very helpful and really appreciated the heads up so I could plan my day around the construction crew. Our new bathroom has a free standing jetted whirlpool tub as the centerpiece and has added so much value to our home. We recently had our guest bathroom renovated. It was a 24 year old bathroom with cabinets and a bathtub that looked well used and ready to be upgraded. We opted to change the bathtub to a shower and that mean that the drain in the foundation had to be moved...quiite an operation. The Solid Construction team was a pleasure to deal with from the design process, to getting the permits in place and through out the whole construction process. I asked Roman from Solid Construction for a quote to install a concrete pad for a shed I was having installed and to install concrete patio and walkways around it! Not an easy project due to many elevations to match and a previous stamped, colored patio to match as well. I have had much experience dealing with contractors and it was great dealing with Roman as he not only understood exactly what I wanted but provided some good suggestions as well! I had other quotes that were less but I could tell he and his crew knew how to turn this project into a fabulous beautiful finished product! I hired Solid Construction to remodel my master bath including a tub to shower conversion. They came in person to see the "mess", provided design suggestion and a fair price quote. All the workers who came to our home were on time, clean, considerate of my home and pets and cleaned up the job space as they went. I asked about a few additions once the room was shaping up and it never phased them. They accommodated all my requests as if it was no big deal. The job was not completed as anticipated due to shipping delays from manufacturers, which was understandable. I am very pleased with the quality of workmanship Solid provided. This bathroom had been updated once before my moving in and it did not appear to be done with any quality or pride. I love my new bathroom and so do my neighbors when I show it off. read more
