If I could give America's Advantage Remodeling 100 stars I would. We found them on Angi and they replied right away to our need for a complete house renovation. They started demo on 1/24/24 and our final date of closing the books was 5/31/24. It would have been 3 months had we not had a one month issue with Smud delaying power to the house. Their team is professional and very hands on. They completely remodeled our 1950's house inside out. Every room was touched. Garage, kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. They also did our roof, HVAC, water heater, hardwood floor restoration, electrical, all windows replaced, exterior painting as well. We had a very old wood pergola/patio that needed to come down and they removed that so fast. They stay in communication regularly with us and any questions we may have or they have we get immediate action. Each team of workers who specialize in specific areas come in to do that specific job and let me tell you they know their stuff! The entire team is also very friendly and respectful. These guys know their stuff. I highly recommend them. In the end they gave me the house of my dreams. They made my vision a reality and I feel such pride when I walk through my home. read more

We hired America's Advantage to do the major projects on our home renovation we wanted to tackle immediately: full kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, HVAC, and several other additional items. They were quick to provide an estimate and begin work. We discovered a potential leak in our ceiling and knew that water damage could escalate quickly, so we contacted a couple of contractors for quotes. America's Advantage Remodeling was responsive in getting someone out for an estimate right away. They came highly recommended by someone we know, but we also knew that they specialize in remodeling, and this was really a repair job that needed multiple trades. Some contractors won't even touch a job this small, but they were responsive and came in with a quote that was way less expensive than the next quote. Once we were ready to move forward, the contractor was responsive and sent over a contract so we could get on the schedule. Communication is often over text and fast. We were told we could be fit in soon -- within the next one to three weeks, around larger jobs. It actually took less time than we initially thought -- three days instead of four. The crew opened two spots in the ceiling and tracked down the source of the leak. Everything was carefully moved or covered in plastic. Our kitchen looked like a quarantine zone from the X-Files. We were happy that our house was being protected, including the floor. The next day, the plumbing crew came in to fix the leak and to make sure that there were no other sources of water coming in, like from the roof. They even started patching up the ceiling that day. The final day was retexturing and painting and now our ceiling looks way better than it did when we bought the house. They did a good job of cleaning up, too. We're pleased with the quality of work and the cost. When it was time to factor in the plumbing work, we got confirmation of that cost with no surprises, and that was also a reasonable cost. We definitely would use America's Advantage Remodeling again when it's time to tackle a bigger project like remodeling. read more

We heard about ASR from yelp and a neighbor who had hired them. Called for a bid for a kitchen update. Vlad responded promptly and gave a very thoroughly detailed bid addressing all of the scope of work we discussed. We had some work ideas that we considered but decided against to keep within budget. The bid was itemized well, making it easy to decide which were priorities and which could be foregone to meet our budget needs. Vlad offered suggestions and cost clarifications, explaining pros and cons for various options. Work started when expected and was completed when expected. We had a few communication glitches, however, they worked with us to smooth those out. Some of their workers have limited English, and we are not bilingual. Mostly that worked out ok with some effort. They were very careful about protecting our home from dust from the work getting into the rest of the house. Their system was very effective and they cleaned up at the end of the work day consistently and well. We were very happy with the quality of the work and end product. We had a couple of small adjustments that needed to be addressed, which they handled well and in a timely manner. Their bottom line was competitive with the other bids we received. They did our kitchen Eugene was the salesman. The workers did a great job with everything, and they went above and beyond. They came across some black mold and dry rot when they were doing the work, which added costs. That always feels unfortunate. But it was great to have people who we felt we could trust doing the work. We've had a bunch of contractors doing work on this property, which is something of a money pit, and America's Advantage was one of the best experiences we've had. So even though last year they assisted us this year when my husband contacted them about replacing part of our porch that was under the carpet they replaced last year. It is now rotten and sinking in. We wanted an estimate on how much it would cost to replace. Last year they came and looked at it. This year they stated to send pictures or they won't come out. My wife and I interviewed and got estimates from a number of contractors (after carefully screening out several after phone discussions) and America's Advantage came out on top in terms of service, quality, and price. They are now beginning our major kitchen/bathroom/dining/storage/patio remodel and all indications are that they will continue to do a fantastic job; I will update later. This is a review that I forgot to finish back in 2015. From MY experience, and with my small project, AAR has honest workers who care about their reputation. I am very satisfied with the outcome of the doors, and they're hasn't been a problem what so even to this day. So, back in 2015 I needed my back patio door completely fixed as my house was burglarized when we were away for one day. My doors could no longer shut, and sleeping at night with non secure door was very uneasy. Eugene came on the first day of me calling and provided a comprehensive estimate. My doors had to be special made due to the abnormal door entry size, and I wanted mini-blinds already pre-installed in the actual window of the door. Eugene was able to get my doors on special order within the end of the week, while other remodeling companies expected 6 weeks to receive the order. Andre, the awesome installation guy, worked fast, and efficiently with his wonderful sidekick. (Sorry, I forgot her name!). However, during the installation, I noticed the doors did not come with the mini-blinds that was discussed in the original invoice. The company that made the doors had messed up on the order, and then did it once more on the second set of doors. Eugene explained to me what happened, and he was very polite to remedy the problem. We have worked with AAR for three major projects on our house. The house itself is very old, like 125 years old. You run into weird things working on a house this old, and AAR has always taken it in stride. Our jobs have ranged from done on time to took longer, but same quote. And did I mention funky old house?
