There were a wide variety of options to choose from as far as what color/pattern of granite we could have installed. We spoke with Atila who came to our home to measure. The installation team came several days later. They did an absolutely fantastic job. It was done in a clean way, they are a pleasure to work with and they asked all of the important questions to make sure that they installed it just as we would want. The price quoted was extremely reasonable. We paid 1/2 up front and the balance after installation. I am completely satisfied. We now may change the backsplash. They don't supply the tile which we will have to purchase after living with the new granite. If we decide to change the backsplash also, they will certainly be the ones to remove what we have and install the new. I have no reservations working with them and found the communication to be excellent.

Unfortunately, I made the huge mistake of paying him in full after he told me, "I'm finished." I didn't deduct the cost of the stain, which I had purchased. The stain was applied unevenly, the railing isn't smooth, and he failed to apply a finishing coat. Worst of all, I was home caring for my mom while Edgar was applying the stain and he didn't bother to tell me, "The stain doesn't match the photo on the can," until he had finished applying the 2nd coat! He said, "I like it." It's got a red tone to it, and I don't like it at all. I now have to figure out how to fix this myself: Have it sanded off and a different-colored stain applied. Edgar told me he would install the other railing as part of the job. He did not do that. He was to return mid-March to finish the 2nd half of the project. His worker did not protect my newly refinished hardwood floor, which got scratched while moving a bookcase. In the process of "cleaning" the floor with some chemical after the staining was "done," Edgar removed the finish off the floor. I need to have the floor repaired. I have been sending text messages and leaving voicemail messages for Edgar for a week. It's extremely unprofessional and disappointing to refuse to communicate with a client. I previously paid him almost $8,000 for a kitchen project. It also took weeks for him to return to finish remaining items on that job. He charged $1400 to paint my maple kitchen cabinets white and did not fill the "seams" in the wood for a smooth finish. When I asked about fixing the cabinet doors showing the seams, he said that should have been done before the painting. Warning to everyone out there: NEVER pay a contractor in full before you have taken the time to verify the job was completed to your satisfaction. I trusted Edgar, and I'm beyond disappointed by my experience with him.
