A client next to me was talking loudly about completely inappropriate topics. It was racist and offensive. I could not believe what I was hearing. I moved to another part of the salon, due to social distancing, and was now directly next to the that stylist. Turns out it was not her client that was being loud and offensive, it was the stylist! She had a new client, and the diatribe started all over again! I was so offended that I gave her a look. She tried to back peddle and then actually said that if anyone wanted to protest, it should be the "Indians!" After we took their land and put them on land that couldn't even grown corn! I confronted her after my appointment and all she did was roll her eyes at me. She argued that she was entitled to her opinion and then tried to tell me everything she said was true. I said that I would not argue politics with her, and that while she was entitled to her opinion, that this was her place of business and I was a paying customer and I shouldn't have to hear about her narrow mindedness. She was incredibly rude and disrespectful to my face. My stylist and the receptionist both apologized for her behavior. They said she also has a problem with gay people. I called and spoke to the manager or owner, not sure which. She told me that there was nothing that she would do. She was aware of this stylists behavior, but she insisted there wasn't anything she could do. I will not support a business that allows such behavior from their employees. I would never subject myself to that hate again.

I explained why I was there and politely asked if I could check out the beauty products. She said nothing to indicate that I couldn't but stayed in the room scrutinizing me the entire time. Granted, she probably feared that I would steal something. I asked about a product that wasn't priced and hastily she told me that she didn't know the price and couldn't sell anything because it wasn't her merchandise. I told her that I would leave because I knew I was making her uncomfortable. I decided I would purchase something that was priced and probably would have purchased the item I inquired about. I left. Guess what?!? This young woman made me, a customer willing to make a purchase, VERY uncomfortable. She should have explained, politely, mind you, from the beginning that she couldn't sell the merchandise to me! Mariah, had a very subtle but definitive undertone of impatience. Had I been able to make the purchase, I wouldn't be writing this review. This doesn't shine any light on this business for sure. Someone needs to speak to this young woman about proper etiquette pertaining to customer service. Hence, I will never set foot in this salon again, nor do I recommend anyone else do so.
