I told her that if she does not have camera with sound on it then she cannot verify if what I am saying is wrong. She was not there and did not go through what I went through. I have never felt so uncomfortable before in my life and I did not deserve to be mocked and made fun of. All I did was come in for mammogram and was humiliated and used for amusement. Instead of staff working they were preoccupied with socializing and fraternizing. This is unacceptable and management should worry about retraining their staff and maybe employing more professional ones. Instead they don't feel their staff is wrong in anyway and think the customer is the problem! I was not happy with the conversation that Nora had with me and as a manager she is not going to do anything to rectify the situation. I recently had an MRI at NorthStar Diagnostic Imaging , Allen, and I have to say... I was not expecting to leave smiling after voluntarily entering what is essentially a very polite, high-tech tube. But here we are. From the moment I walked in, the staff operated like a well-rehearsed pit crew--efficient, friendly, and reassuring without overdoing it. There's a calm professionalism in the air that makes you feel like you're in very capable hands (and not about to be launched into orbit... probably). And then there's Zahra--the MRI professional who deserves her own spotlight. If there were an Employee of the Month (EOM) hall of fame, she'd already have a reserved parking space. Clear instructions, great energy, and just the right amount of humor to make the whole process smooth and surprisingly pleasant. She turned what could have been a tense experience into something that felt easy and even--dare I say--enjoyable. I only found out after a recent visit and not until after when insurance settled and they wanted the remainder due, I found then the credit was applied. Good customer service would have returned my money long ago. I wonder how many others are due money and have no clue. I'll choose others for service going forward.

I call the richardson location they CONFIRM both orders but say there is a problem and they need my doc to send a new fax, so I call my doctor and she sends the order again. I call back and CONFIRM that both MRI are going to be done the same appointment. 3. An hour before my appointment they tell me they're running late and delay my appointment by 30 minutes. 4. When I get there they make me wait 40 minutes AND THEN tell me they only have one order. I tell them that their receptionist had confirmed both orders and the same appointment for both. They do a fake apology of the sorry not sorry sounds like your problem not ours. So I only do the one MRI. The tech was rude and combative and the manager was a spineless mgmt type. 5. To schedule the other one they tell me no location has ever had a second order and that I made a mistake or the doc made a mistake. I call the doctor and they explain with a confirmation number from gateway that the fax had been sent received and confirmed. The receptionist says it was sent to the wrong number which the doctor said to them was given to her by gateway themselves. 6. After I leave they find the order, call me to schedule. They tell me they cant even do that kind of mri in the first place which im pretty sure is a lie because they dont want to see me and acknowledge their mistake given that when I originally scheduled they named both orders and confirmed all the details at that location. 7. They tell me that a survey will follow after they schedule and to stay on the line to give my thoughts and then they immediately just hang up. All around incompetent, lazy, late, and incapable of accountability. As someone with chronic pain and too many doctors this place is more a barrier to health than a credible business. Wasted my time which i dont have enough of and my peace of mind which im trying to get back. Wholly unsatisfactory and the staff should be embarrassed. I will be letting all of my doctors know. I had to reschedule my first x-ray appointment in Wylie because their equipment had broke down and they were able to reschedule me in Allen the same morning. When I checked in, the lady I worked with was in the far left corner and she was very polite. I had mentioned to her. I did not fill out the online check-in information and preferred to fill out paperwork and she said no problem. When I returned the paperwork to her, I mentioned to her that my birthdate was wrong. I then noticed the lady on my right. (Her name was Coy) spoke under her breath out loud and said ,"If you had filled out the online application, you would've noticed that." It was very flippant remark and with a snippy tone. She was working with another patient and I was taken back by what she had just done and I decided to speak up and advocate for myself, and I said, " Did she just talk under her breath about me ?" to the lady in front of me. And then Coy spoke up again said," oh I didn't mean to hurt your feelings," in which I then replied," you have not hurt my feelings, but you're behaving in a very unprofessional manner, and I can't believe you would be checking out this patient beside me and also be talking under your breath about me which has nothing to do with you." She tried to defend herself and I just walked away and sat down and waited for my x-ray. Once I'm called back, Tricia takes me back to the x-ray room and as she's getting things ready there's a knock on the door and Tricia opens the door and isn't surprised to see Coy at the door and let's her in. !!!!!!!!! I'm still freaking out that this is even happening and I look at Coy and I tell her that I didn't appreciate her talking about me under her breath when she wasn't even the person checking me in or taking my payment and she kept talking over me and she wouldn't let me finish my sentence. Tricia, the x-ray tech was just watching not doing anything about it not telling Coy to go away not protecting me as a patient and I finally had to raise my voice and tell Coy to get out of the room so I could get my x-rays completed. It was absolutely bizarre and frightening at the same time and I couldn't believe Coy had gone from the front desk to the x-ray room to talk to me about this when I'm trying to get an x-ray. I was so shaken up. It was very hard for me to go through the next 15 minutes of x-rays. I was so upset. I was on the verge of tears. It was horrible. The average cost of an abdominal CT in the US is $300- $500. The billed item reflect in the fine print, not the procedure ordered, but the out of pocket max. They are literally shaking me down for all of my money. "If you have insurance, estimates are based on your current out-of-pocket costs that are provided by your insurance company on the date we verified your benefits. " Fraudulent billing practices cleared by legal chicanery. Notice the that the line item is hospital fees and not actually the billed service.
