Was referred for CT scan 5 days ago following blunt chest trauma. Chest X-ray showed 5 fractured…read moreribs. CT scan was done to rule out other injuries. Standard of care for results of trauma CT is 15 minutes. It has been five days and still no report. The only thing I got out of them was that they thought that I might have cancer on the abdominal CT, then nothing in spite of numerous calls. I had an abdominal CT in 4/24 at the hospital a block away. I told them that they needed to compare the two CTs. They did not think that it was in their job description to do the comparison. With my 5 rib fractures, I had to drive to the hospital, wait for them to burn a CT, take it to Hunt and wait for them to copy. Now, five days later, I am still waiting for results and concerned about the possible cancer diagnosis. The staff was courteous, but the radiologist(s) were lazy and negligent.

Dr. Lomibao treats her patients like real human beings with real problems. She takes the time to listen to you (even when it meant listening to my decade's long medical history). She asks great follow-up questions. Most importantly, she's one of the first doctors I've had who actually empathizes with her patients. It's silly, but I cried after my first appointment with Dr. Lomibao. I've never had a rheumatologist say, "I'm worried about you." I've seen a rheumatologist at UT Southwestern for the past four years. Over the past year, two of my fingers got really misshapen, my psoriasis returned, and I've had a lot of inflammation and pain. My last rheumatologist really didn't seem to care as my symptoms got worse. When I would ask for more aggressive treatment, my rheumatologist would ignore my requests. So I scoured the internet for reviews and found Dr. Lomibao. It has changed the course of my care for the better. Dr. Lomibao immediately ordered a full set of labs and x-rays. She taught me about my condition and how treatments can help. Unlike most doctors, Dr. Lomibao doesn't tell you what to do. She offers options and lets you decide. However, if you want her recommendation, she will provide it. Dr. Lomibao got me started on a new medication with promising results. Most importantly, she presented me with a more aggressive (but safe) dosing regimen that my previous rheumatologist would have never cared to offer. Additionally, the waiting area is large and comfortable, which is a plus if you have a patient in a wheelchair. Dad has vascular dementia and is beginning to find doctor visits triggering, difficult and tiresome. Anything that annoys or causes him impatience now results in loud complaints and yelling. Dr. Yoon was excellent with him. His "bedside manner" was spot-on. Dad clicked with him almost instantly, and actually enjoyed his time in the exam room. It was a relief to see him focus on the doctor and grin! ​ Dr. Yoon was very diligent and thoughtful in his approach to the problem, and I have great confidence in him. We speak of many off topic things(literature,his sons band(Slug Puppies), and my family(he has been my wife's family Dr for years and years) I like going to this clinic because it is usually one stop shopping-they have their own little radiology dept and lab and can do most of your workups there. MY kids all like him as well and we have never had a bad experience here. His staff is always professional and the nurses are very good about calling us back on the same day we leave messages. I am unsure of all the insurances he takes-but I know he takes BCBS as that is what I have.
