On the menu, I instantly took an interest in the 10" Margherita, which was what I ended up ordering with pineapple as my second topping added. Whether it be Grubhub or now Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it is convenient. Much praise to the Uber Eats delivery driver, Danilo, for arriving with my order at a reasonable time, as well as meeting me in front of the hotel. And Danilo also confirmed that it was me grabbing the order, which I cannot thank him so much for. Once I retrieved my order from Danilo, it was so hard to not smell it inside of the elevator headed up to my hotel room. It made me smile knowing that I just put pineapple on a Margherita pizza which is just not normal, tehehe. Even with the addition of pineapple, the pizza looked wonderful once I opened its box. I must say that the hint of cracked black pepper gave it a very nice touch appearance wise. Along with that, the pizza was topped with a combination of fresh cut basil, tomato and extra virgin olive oil with fresh mozzarella. And slice by slice, I devoured it as its toppings fell from it right back into the box. If you are looking for something to order from Gaines Street Pies, and love Margherita pizza as much as I do, then I recommend it.
