Her opinion will hurt her business & her coworkers. I worked in the Beauty business for nearly 30 years. This is not how any client should be treated.

They were extremely diligent in their adherence to sterilization protocols and examination of my initial piercings. Because of Randy's careful examination of my ears, only one ear needed a full re-pierce and the other ear just needed a slight stretch in the piercing. It was much less painful this time around than it was 20 years ago (w/a piercing gun at Claire's!). I had such a great experience here I would definitely return and get additional piercings! My ears healed well (different experience than the first time) and I'm excited to wear earring again!

One stipulation I had while on the hunt for this place was that I only wanted a female piercing tech. So I called Virtue & Vice telling them what I was looking for and asking if they would be able to accomodate. They were so helpful and patient! I asked a bunch of questions that were quickly answered and the gentleman that I spoke to even gave me the names of the female techs along with their availability. That call sealed the deal for me! While in the area one day I decided to pop into Virtue & Vice and finally tackle this task. HU: the parking lot is quite tight as the plaza is a small one. I didn't have an issue finding a spot but I can only imagine how it would be on a crazy day. The shop was bright and airy, and I was greeted so warmly upon entry by two young ladies at the front counter. I let them know what I was looking for and was told it'd be a 15 minute wait, easy peazy. After a few minutes one of the young ladies approached me asking if I'd accept a male tech assisting me so that I'd get in/out sooner. I declined and appreciated that they didn't push or question my decision to wait. Minutes later my technician Lena came and got me. She was such a sweetheart! She has the same name as one of my favorite people and Yelp CM so I knew she had good energy. When I tell you all that I tried removing the piercing myself about 4x? Why did Ms. Lena get it out (without pain!) within TWO minutes? It may not have even been two minutes. I coughed and boom, removed. I can't believe that I put it off for so long! Definitely returning for some new ink in the future.

The piercer was so kind and made it a painless (literally!) experience. My daughter didn't even realize he had done the piercings and thought he was still just prepping. The after care instructions were perfect and we are a few months out with no infections. The price was super affordable (around $50 including earrings, I did tip on top of this) and we were in and out in less than a half hour (including all paper work). They were quick to oblige. We parked and walked in. Nothing about this spot smells sanitary. It is laden with cigarette smoke and regrets. Given that it's 2021 and the fact we're still very much in a global pandemic, I figured it would at least have the facade of cleanliness. Little to no complaints about the piercing factor. The piercer churned and burned us. Shoving a wine cork into each of our respective noses while we all awkwardly gave each other pep talks and hand squeezes. The only thing I struggle with is the fact that I can't get rid of a keloid/raised bump on my nose near the piercing and I can only assume it has to do with poor post care instructions. Meanwhile, my friend who opted for a tattoo waited incessantly, despite the fact we called ahead. Regardless, that's not the worst part. Instead, she's still suffering through a tattoo infection. I guess my biggest takeaway here is, get a piercing here. But don't volunteer your skin for a tattoo.
