He's so friendly and also quick, I barely felt the piercing.. sincerely! Every time I've been to the shop he and the gals at the front are welcoming and smiling. While checking out I looked at the artwork for Ash Munn and decided to come back for a small tattoo to see how we could collaborate for a big piece I have wanted for a long time. I got a tiny matching tattoo with my husband and during the session I talked about what I was looking for in a back piece. Let me just say, she LISTENED and delivered! She captured all of the themes/elements/textures I wanted and wrapped them into a beautiful piece of artwork! I always feel so comfortable in her chair, for example, my first line work session I was booked for the day but tapped out after a few hours... unlike most artists she was so accommodating and was kind. My next two sessions I got into a deep trance state almost and the feeling was cathartic and therapeutic, exploring deep pain and feeling the physical representation of that emotional state... I trusted her as my guide on this dark journey and I felt seen and supported. She is a fantastic artist and also is quick, which helps a lot! all piercers here are amazing but the new apprentice lucas offered to give me a free tattoo while…read morehelping me pay for my nipple piercings. when i came to my first appointment he was 2 hours late without letting me know. on the second appointment he redid my stencil about 8 times because he was arguing about where he wanted to place it even though i told him exactly where i wanted the placement. Then he argued with his teacher about what needle sizes to use. The entire time he was grinding on my skin very aggressively with a paper towel, and i was bleeding a lot, which shouldn't have happened for the size and placement. he then started tracing my tattoo with white ink without asking me, and when i asked what he was doing and told him to stop, he refused and said "his boss told him to". then he kept going back over the same lines until i was in so much pain i had to ask him to stop 3 times. he kept going back over the lines after i had asked him to stop tattooing me saying "just let me finish this part". not only that but he dropped his towels on the ground and didn't change his gloves at least twice. my partner was there and saw the whole thing. even his teacher told him to stop arguing with me, and stop being so aggressive with me. he did not demonstrate this behavior before i denied his advances towards me when we were discussing the tattoo plans prior. when i sent a picture of the tattoo i wanted to have covered up (appropriately angled & cropped) and he said it was sexy, and kept demanding i send him different angles of the tattoo needing to be covered. then in both appointments he first told me i wasn't wearing enough clothes, and when i came back with a skirt (so that i wouldn't have to remove my pants entirely for the tattoo) he told me i had "too much fabric" and tried to convince me to take the skirt off.

I had to come back and edit my previous review. Previously I said my piercing experience was great;…read morehowever, that was a few days after getting my ear pierced by Katy. Now fast forward 3 months later and I have encountered nothing but issues. If you look a my previous review, I had my tragus and one of my lobes pierced. My lobe is still piercing. My tragus started experiencing swelling a month and a half in. It was swollen to the point to where the post started to get covered up. I immediately called shop to speak to Katy and she said to come in so she could look at it. I drove immediately to the shop and was approached by Katy & she glanced at the ear (without taking me back to look at it) and she said it's not as bad as you think, it's just a small piercing bump inside. She went on to say just continue with the aftercare spray and it will be fine and went on to show me she had a piercing bump on the front of her ear. I did not feel comfortable. Fast a few weeks later, the tragus became so swollen that the piercing top came off (post remained) causing me to scramble to get back to the shop. I arrived to their Kennesaw location at 11 am when they are supposed to open and they were closed. I waited around for an hour and no one ever showed. Note: This is the same thing that happens at their Cumberland location. I found out they are both owned by the same person. This is a terrible location. I immediately found another piercing shop. The tech immediately accessed the situation and determined put a post too small for the tragus piercing. It did not allow for normal swelling of the new piercings. After she placed the longer post, the swelling start going down and I got immediate relief. The sore lobe piercing was caused by a slight slant in the piercing. The aftercare given by the new shop is helping. I would say read all the negative reviews and know that both Black Cloud locations are terrible. Do you research and avoid at all costs.
