Very knowledgeable (I asked him for advice on one of my piercings I got elsewhere) and very professional. Also, his business card is THE BEST! I highly recommend this business, especially him! It doesn't stop there, they see obviously fully staffed for tattoos, but I have been working with Crystal -AKA- omnist_art. She had created technically 3 totally custom pieces for me while allowing me to set a budget and style preferences. She is very detail oriented and amazing.

Just got a Madonna piercing there and I love it!! Elliot did my piercing and was amazing. It was very quick and didn't hurt much at all! Would totally recommend him!!!

Purchased my wife a $100 gift card for Planet Ink in Kennesaw a few years ago. She took her time deciding how to use it, BUT THE CARD DID NOT HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE. She went in to use it today (*the Gc had a phone # on it, and she called and verified it had $100 on it). Long story short, the owner REFUSED to honor the GC, saying it was too old! Even though it had not been used and the number on the card said it had $100 credit on it. This business is not honest and stole $100. Unbelievable! read more

Came in for a repiercing on my birthday. Had a Medusa, took it out, decided I wanted it back. So the previous piercing hole was still there but the inside was healed closed. Came in to this location, and staff was not friendly at all, kinda came off like they didn't even want to be there. Well I decide to go through with the piercing still because I've heard good things about quality. Well, after getting the piercing and taking a look at it, I notice it's crooked ! How do you mess up a piercing that was previously there before that badly..... now when I smile it points to the left..... read more

Besides being a very clean environment, it is also a very friendly one! I can not express how impressed we were with the service! We initially went to the Hiram location for an infant ear piercing (which was also an incredible experience). After a few days my daughter lost one of her earrings and the Kennesaw location was kind enough to replace it and put it in her ear! The staff was wonderful with my daughter and extremely patient! I've had a few tattoos and piercings done in my life and have never had such a positive experience! Thank you guys so much! We will be back!!!! read more

On 03/26, I went to Aarahm to get two nose piercings changed out, a septum and a nose ring. My nose ring was infected and I wanted to switch back to a stud. Aarahm was very rough with the process of changing my nose ring and because it was infected and very irritated, it hurt a lot and I had tears coming down my face of course. He made a comment that I was acting like I was "giving childbirth." I thought he was maybe joking, but the comment felt pretty sexist. Once I got home, I looked at my jewelry that he had just switched out and I noticed that the jewelry was bent and would not close. Overall, this experience was one that would keep me from going back again. I don't intend for this post to create a negative atmosphere, I'm only sharing my experience. read more

Came here to get a tattoo they charge way more then I thought it would be there super expensive I went somewhere else and they told me the would of done it for almost half the price. The people are unprofessional and rude. The tattoo literally came out as if a child had done it instead of straight lines the lines were all crooked. I ended up going to the other shop to get it covered up. Smh. Never again. read more

I'm surprised this place hasn't received more reviews. I honestly don't think many people know it even exists. On the outside, it looks like your run-of-the-mill tattoo shop, but inside the facilities are spectacular, clean, and very comfortable. There are TVs in the rooms to distract you from the process itself if you are the squeamish type. I went here last week to get a cover-up piece done and it exceeded all of my expectations. Bob (my artist) was very friendly and professional, and made every effort to ensure that the cover tattoo would completely erase the old. He was very meticulous and did a fine job with every minor detail. I would definitely recommend this place and plan on returning for more work in the future. The price was quite reasonable as well, and there is a bar in the same plaza so you can grab a drink afterwards and celebrate! read more

Just got my belly button pierced at Planet Ink. Called ahead before I went in and they gave me all the information I needed to know about what I needed for a piercing. Went in later that day to get it pierced, the inside is very clean and comfortable. I got pierced by a girl ( I forgot her name) but she was super chill and made the experience less nerve wrecking. The cost was $40. So overall I would recommend Planet Ink, they are great at what they do!! read more

I had a lovely time getting my 6th tattoo done here a few months ago. Surprised it hasn't been reviewed yet. Everyone was very nice, they helped us figure out exactly what would look and work out best. The artist we had, I forget his name, I have his card so I can go back to him though. If I find it I will edit this post. Anyways, he was a nice guy, easy to talk to as well. We were being tattooed for about 4 hours total and he carried a nice conversation the whole time. Not cold or intimidating like some artists. Clean place! Nice decor as well, not what you expect from a tattoo parlor, I can dig it though. They have a few locations, I've only been here though. If you're in the area I suggest checking them out! read more

My brother and I went to Planet Ink to get tattoos together. My brother likes more traditional style, so his artist was Bre. We were in a rush because my brother is in the army so we only had a couple of days to get a tattoo. Bre started drawing up my brother's tattoo and felt that she didn't want to rush it which is respectable in my eyes. She seems like a perfectionist which seems to be desirable in a tattoo artist. My brother will be visiting her in June to get his tattoo. Facility: The building itself is very clean. I've been in tattoo shops that are kind of dark and they don't make me feel to comfortable. Planet Ink is neutral and well lit. They have separate rooms for every artist and every room has a tv. There's drinks that you can purchase and it's just a very laid back environment. This was my first tattoo, but I didn't really have a preference in style type. My artist's name was Rich and he's a manager at Planet Ink. He made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. Rich is a super laid back guy who can hold a conversation for 3 hours. What really stood out to me was the fact that they closed at 9 and Rich started my tattoo at 8 anyway. He stayed 2 hours past close to finish up my tattoo. After the 3 hours, he gave me a great deal on my tattoo that kept it way below my budget. All in all, I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a tattoo. The environment and artists are phenomenal! read more

I'm not from GA but after the death of Prince I started looking around for a tattoo shop and so I decided to use Yelp it hasn't failed me as of yet. I came across Planet Ink Tattoos (Good Review from previous clients) and decided to get up and go get a tattoo to honor my fallen brother Prince. When I arrived a few of the artist were busy designing work for other clients and really didn't pay much attention to me but then this artist I forget his name said he would do it and man did he ever!!!!! he put his foot into my tattoo. Highly skilled artists, beautiful studio, extremely sterile but still relaxed environment. Welcoming owner, experienced and talented artists with amazing portfolios. Did two walk ins (me and my friend) back to back with Callie, a very sweet and friendly artist who was patient in working with us ink virgins lol. Gorgeous letterwork on my friend, exactly what she wanted, and in a quick, easy session. Great Celtic knot on my wrist, very pleased. All in all the two sessions took about 3.5 hrs. I'm so glad we got our first tattoos here, and I hope to come back to Callie in the future for more ink! SHES GOT THE MAGIC JUICE! She captured all of the themes/elements/textures I wanted and wrapped them into a beautiful piece of artwork! Then he argued with his teacher about what needle sizes to use. The entire time he was grinding on my skin very aggressively with a paper towel, and i was bleeding a lot, which shouldn't have happened for the size and placement. he then started tracing my tattoo with white ink without asking me, and when i asked what he was doing and told him to stop, he refused and said "his boss told him to". then he kept going back over the same lines until i was in so much pain i had to ask him to stop 3 times. he kept going back over the lines after i had asked him to stop tattooing me saying "just let me finish this part". not only that but he dropped his towels on the ground and didn't change his gloves at least twice. my partner was there and saw the whole thing. even his teacher told him to stop arguing with me, and stop being so aggressive with me. he did not demonstrate this behavior before i denied his advances towards me when we were discussing the tattoo plans prior. when i sent a picture of the tattoo i wanted to have covered up (appropriately angled & cropped) and he said it was sexy, and kept demanding i send him different angles of the tattoo needing to be covered. then in both appointments he first told me i wasn't wearing enough clothes, and when i came back with a skirt (so that i wouldn't have to remove my pants entirely for the tattoo) he told me i had "too much fabric" and tried to convince me to take the skirt off.

I had gone here before and had a decent visit but my next trip was with another tech named Bethany. The tech I had before was no longer there. I reluctantly agreed to go forward with the appointment. First - She ran the callous pumice stone on top of my foot because she was distracted and scratched me so hard I bled. Very painful during the scrub. Then cut me on one of my fingers and had to use something to stop the bleeding. She did not wait for my nails to rehydrate after soak off before applying structure so the nails were still all curved. All nails were shaped differently. She did not fully remove the previous nail polish so you could see it on the side of the nails after they were done. My nails started feeling weird after a while so I decided to remove them and this is what they looked like. I have never in my life had this happen!. I am mortified and beyond upset! This is a direct result of improper methods and it will take months to get my nails back to normal.

My piercer Ahmed fixed my botched conch piercing and was so polite and sweet. I had originally gotten it done at Epic Tattoos but after a week of pain I pushed the too small piercing up to expose a raw inside. I immediately called planet ink where I had gotten my forward helix done and Ahmed was on the phone. I explained the situation and he told me to come in and he would fix it right up. When I got there, he did not sugar coat it in the slightest. He remained honest and straightforward that taking it off was going to hurt. He was completely respectful of me when I said I needed time to breath while he was taking it off and did not rush me at all. He was going to switch out the hoop with another but decided that he did not want to risk making the swelling any worse. He asked if I wanted a stud instead and gave me options to choose from. He was very knowledgeable about everything from what crushed aspirin does to types of piercings appropriate for different ears to cleaning methods. It was such a plesant experience. read more

I went here with my close friend when she got a tattoo. She got it done, we went back home. She showed it off to a few other friends and one girl asked her where she got it done and who did it, and when she said "I z z y at Planet Ink".. she gave her the craziest look and said that that artist was blasted on instagram after being arrested for beating up his girlfriend with their baby involved?!. If she'd known that I know for a fact she wouldn't have picked this shop to go to at all. I know people close to me who have experienced things like that, I'm honestly so surprised and disappointed to see that the company is acceptant of those actions allowing him to continue to work there!!. The 3 tattoos I've gotten from Planet Ink so far have all been done by Rey Figueroa. I promise yall my dude does some seriously good work. I like to stick to one person tattooing me as much as possible and I will definitely be going back to him for more work in the near future. I recommend this shop to everyone I know, but I always tell them to talk to Rey first. You can tell he is passionate about his work, he is always down to chat while he works on you, and has great recommendations of ideas that you could add on to your tattoo in the future. Just got a conch piercing done by Aarahm and was very pleased with the service. The room was very clean and Aarahm is very professional. I appreciated him giving me a list of do's and don'ts and being very thorough in explaining how to care for my fresh piercing based on my lifestyle (i.e I sleep with my cat so he recommended changing my pillow case every day instead of every 4-5 days, which is the usual for a piercing). About a year ago, I went into this location for the first ever. I got my septum pierced by Abe. He was very polite, even while I was jerking away from him as he was trying to pierce my nose. He helped me calm down and then began the process all over again. I appreciate him for taking the time to calm me down before piercing me. I had wanted this piercing since I was 13, and if I wouldn't have gotten it I would've been more mad at myself. I'm obsessed with it. I have a total of 9 piercings and my septum is my favorite. My sisters and I walked in last night at around 6:45 and were immediately greeted and helped by Elliot, the piercer here! He was super welcoming and explained the process of everything - I wanted my septum pierced and my sister wanted her ears pierced. Everything went by quickly and as painlessly as possible. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the guy who did my tattoo at this location, but he did such a good job that my mom (who is very anti-tattoo) thought about getting one. Now, she'll probably never actually get one so hell hasn't frozen over yet, but that fact that she thought for a split second that maybe she'll get one means its at least snowing. Called to get pricing and gauge on a cartilage (Helix) piercing. They were actually rather rude. The person who answered the phone yelled to the back of the shop for the piercer, and when I asked if that price was for one ear or both I was told " That's for the Cartilage" as if I had asked the dumbest question on earth. Rey took my idea and killed it with crazy details you gotta have magnifying glass to see. His work space and tools were all so sanitary and clean you would think he prepping for surgery. The gentlemen at the desk were extremely rude and condescending and seemed to have no interest in helping me with something as simple as looking at a piece of jewelry.
