Dr. Ly continues to impress and delight! Like many of the other reviewers, I've experienced a…read morenumber of dental horror stories over the years, with very bad dentists in Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, and elsewhere. Some of their actions took years to bloom into bad situations for me. Once they went south, it was not easy to rectify the damage they'd done. Those experiences, plus finances, had limited my ability to make a lot of needed changes to my dental situation. Whenever I see Dr. Ly I feel heard and understood, plus well cared for, which has gone a long way to easing the emotional strain of going to a dentist. He is calm, caring, and knows his stuff. The temporary 3D-printed upper denture that he'd made for me in April was starting to show some wear. Specifically, even with proper care, it was accumulating some stains from coffee, berries, and chocolate consumption. It had also started to develop a crack. In a half hour's time, in order to accommodate an important work call that I couldn't miss, he and one of his assistants re-polished and re-sealed the denture. It looks sparkly and shiny now! He also fixed the crack, which feels so much better to wear and is more stable. Next week I go back to the oral surgeon to see what's next in restoring the upper arch of teeth. I may need another temporary denture for another six months or so while implants are placed and heal. I absolutely trust Dr. Ly to make that next temporary for me. In addition to his dentistry skills, he also does beautiful work with his 3D printer, and the hand-finishing elements that he adds himself. There's some creative artistry skill involved there.

For me this is the case, until I found Dr. Ly. I needed significant work done on my four front teeth to have crowns placed, which felt daunting given my past negative dental experiences. Trusting someone with such an important procedure was nerve-wracking, but Dr. Ly's patience and attentiveness put me at ease. He listened carefully to my concerns and worked meticulously with his lab to ensure the color and shape of the crowns were perfect, making sure I was completely satisfied with the final results. On the day of cementing the actual crowns, Dr. Ly made sure to constantly check in to make sure I wasn't in any pain. He has a very calming presence and incredible bedside manner, making the experience feel comfortable and reassuring. His attention to detail and patient-centered approach put me at ease throughout the entire process, making what could have been a stressful procedure a surprisingly pleasant one. I couldn't be happier with the results and have received countless compliments from both friends and strangers. This experience has truly transformed my life, changing not only my smile but also how I carry myself in everyday interactions. It's given me a new level of confidence that I didn't realize was possible. Jennifer and Teresa up front are super sweet, funny, and really helpful. Erica is my favorite hygienist! Gentle, sweet, and always gives me great advice on how to take care of my teeth. Dr Eric is also really sweet and was very informative and same with Dr. Bankhardt, obviously! He looked at my teeth, looked at my previous X-Rays, and then came back to look at them again just to make sure everything was good to go! At most dental offices I feel like you don't see the Dr until the end and he basically just "double checks" the hygienists work, but I don't feel that way here. They also have 6:10pm appointments on Tuesday's which works great for my work schedule! They are also super fast. I came in for a cleaning and was out within less than an hour.
