I've used chiropractors that really helped my back but once Aimee fixed sciatica that the chiropractor couldn't, I was hooked and never went back to a chiropractor. After a session, I have the best night's sleep (I also have trouble sleeping more than 5 hours a night). She also taught me how to fix some problems myself. She cares about people, likes to help them, and has the skills to do it. The relief from years of pain is indescribably wonderful. I have received hundreds of sessions over the years and can say, without a moment of hesitation, that Catherine has some of the best hands and techniques I have ever experienced, and is easily one of the best massage therapists in the East Bay. The moment you walk into her office you realize that she is professional and multi-talented. Her office is clean, fresh and organized. She has good music playing with a good sound system. Her table is super-comfortable and she uses blankets and heaters when it is cold so that you are comfortable. Even her massage lotion is incredible (I asked her if she sold it because I need it too!). But her techniques and the results you get are what really matter. I can say that she finds all the tender spots and is able to get into the tension in a deep way without it hurting per se - she can back off perfectly and go slowly enough in the tight areas that you can still relax and get serious releases. She is trained in ART (active release technique), which is one of the absolute best training out there (next to Rolfing). Many chiropractors train in ART because of its reputation. Just trust me and go to her for any physical complaints. I couldn't believe how good I felt after my session and will continue to see Catherine regularly.
