Long overdue review...I was recommended by my mom to try this place out. The front desk girl is extremely rude and talks down on you. I ignored it my first two times as the dentist and dental assistant was super sweet. I scheduled a cleaning for my third appointment but it was during flu season and i unfortunately came down with a cold that morning. I know their policy and I understand it was my responsibility to notify ahead of time of any cancellation or rescheduling... however this particular case was unavoidable as I got sick the morning of my appointment. I called as soon as possible, apologizing several times and let them know I was sick; coughing with a sore throat and didn't feel comfortable coming in. The front desk girl became extremely upset and started "scolding" me as if i was her child. Saying I wasted an appointment space and time for everyone including their customers who wanted the cleaning and I took their spot. I was flabbergasted and told her I woke up sick. I dont know what more she wanted me to do. Did she expect me to come in sick and spread it to everyone? This happened last year. I am unsure if she is still there, but by the looks of the other reviews complaining about the front desk lady.. I'm sure it's the same person. I have not returned since and happily took my money and dental needs elsewhere. read more

I had 1 procedure done with Dr Son last year. Dr Son is nice and professional. Tried to schedule another appointment months later to replace old crowns and get 1 implant. The front office manager answered my call around 8:15am. She is rude, talks down to me and acts disrespectful since the first time I had called last year. Made me call back after 9am. I had called back twice after 9am and left messages to schedule an appointment. She never picked up nor returned any of my calls. I went elsewhere as a result of bad front office service. Dr Son is losing business because of his substandard front office management. I intended to spend over $15k for crown replacements and implant. Hope Dr Son realizes his office manager should be replaced. No patient should tolerate her bad attitude. read more

First of all, this is the very first negative review that I am leaving on any business whether it's Google or Yelp, and this review is after 7 visits to this clinic. The main receptionist patronizes patients and talks as if she is the dentist herself. And to make the matters worse, she is not shy about exaggerating the conditions so she can bring in the patients as frequently as possible. My teeth may not have been in the best conditions but no way was I on the verge of losing my teeth due to serious periodontal issues, but she did her very best to sell me the baseless fears.There is nothing wrong with recommending preventative measures like deep cleaning but even their own hygienist who did deep cleaning on my teeth told me that the buildup issues were limited to some molars in the back and I was not anywhere close to losing any of my teeth. Because there is just one dentist at this clinic, it's kind of hard to get even few minutes with the doctor during the regular checkup, so you end up consulting with the receptionist or hygienist. Why do you have to consult with some receptionist who does not possess any kind of formal medical background? That's little messed up. I am sure they billed the full amount to my insurance. My wife and I had no complaint against our old dentist for 15+ years but this place was little different. We both disliked how we were treated at this clinic. read more

I came to Dr. Son's office for a teeth cleaning/checkup, and I had a great experience. The equipment is top-tier, and it was really cool to see the pano X-ray of all my teeth. Dr. Son has been taking care of my teeth for over 15 years! The staff is super friendly and the new facility is welcoming and clean. It's hard to find a dentist who gives you an honest opinion on what you actually need, but Dr. Son does exactly that. He also specializes in prosthetics. This establishment is extremely clean and the staff here are extremely knowledgeable in their practice. Doctor Son and the hygienist were helpful in explaining what I needed to do for preventative measures. I'm in medicine so I have a particular view. Dr sohn was great. The staff was expedient and efficient. The equipment is state of the art. One thing about dentistry is that you'll find a lot of bad apples that will suggest unneeded procedures. You won't get that here. Highly recommend. read more
