None of those places could match A&S, who were basically giving me the market rate for Australian currency. The rate for New Zealand currency was also very competitive. I couldn't make it in time on the day I called for the quote, but came in the next day and the rate remained the same. The A&S place opens at 11AM and the worker arrived on time. They require showing ID and accept cash only. The person behind the window was meticulous with counting out the money. He was also knowledgeable about different methods of payment countries accept. As we continued the transaction, he became more friendly and welcoming, sharing about his experience visiting Australia many years ago.
