I've always wanted to check out the Vineyard Farmer's Market and just never made it over. It was my lucky day as I snuck over while my fiancé was at his appointment. The Vineyard is beautiful and it was a lovely sunny day, just a bit windy. I was surprised at all the vibrant and quality produce offered. There were other vendors selling honey, flowers, food, coffee - even La Boulangerie bakery from Fig Garden had a booth! I honestly felt transported elsewhere for a bit. It felt like a genuine Farmer's Market and easily my favorite in Fresno now. Everything I purchased from this quick visit- I loved. The pastries from La Boulangerie, the coffee from Fabiano, the strawberries I actually purchased from 2 farmers, notably Maos Farms were the sweetest we've had all year and the produce was beautiful and delicious. I eyed some grape leaves sold by an older couple- the last one was purchased before I could say, hello, lol. They looked delicious. Great quality items from local farmers and vendors. I can't wait to return again.

That's fine, still good to know they have it. They have a lot of yummy looking imported treats here. As well as veggies and frozen meats. There is also a small selection of deli meats, cheeses and lots of spices. Some things are reasonably priced and some are more expensive I'm sure due to costs. The store was clean but very quiet. There was a woman at the counter and you can see the cooks in the back making food for the cafe. Seems like that's where most of the energy is going towards. You can hear the people next door enjoying conversation and good food. Overall, it was nice to walk around and see new kinds of food and imported products.

She said no because she already put the taxes. I said well can we just start over.. it was only 2 items total we were buying. When I asked why she couldn't take off the item or start over she started yelling at me saying I don't understand how taxes work. She kept yelling at me saying I'm Californian and should understand when in fact I was just asking her to take an item off. She's very rude and was yelling at us!!! They cracked open with ripeness! There was a really adorable little hay stack enclosed section where they had the larger size pumpkins located. There were corn stalks, small pumpkins, gourds, and a scarecrow. Adorable; my nephew and I had fun picking out a pumpkin in the cordoned off haystack area. They also offer fresh honey, dehydrated fruits, bagged nuts and tons of produce. The woman operating it was friendly and patient with us as we hemmed, hawed and guffawed at the options available. Stop in! It's right off the road with easy parking and easy in/out.

During the fair the Coordinators and us a raffle ticket. That several local companies had donated products and gift certificates to be raffled off at the career fair. I want a $20 gift certificate to first quality produce. I had never heard of this company so I promptly called the number on the gift certificate to find out more about them. Unfortunately I called after business hours so was unable to connect with them on Thursday. However, Friday morning at 9:00 in the morning I received a phone call from a woman named Katrina she explained to me how to use my gift certificate and that it should be in the system already. I went onto the website to order and found that the certificate number wasn't working. I called the company back and left them a message about the issue. Not only did Katrina call me back within minutes but I order to save me the hassle of going on line again during me work day she placed the order for me. I then had a question about one of the other products they offer. She answered that with ease and was able to adjust my order so I got what I was really hoping for. All in all I love this companies standard of service. I've don't customer service/relations for 14 years so this level of professionalism is not lost on me. Katrina you and 1st quality produce have found a loyal customer if your product turns out to be half as good as you were. Thank you.

It was a pandemic pivot…read more Since the Kaiser farmer's market would not be operating during the pandemic, the Berry Lady was without a Fresno outlet. She used Food4Thought, a company that had been delivering to nearby school districts, also shut down due to the pandemic, for her outlet. Worked for me as I was not comfortable going to Kingsburg to pick up blackberries and blueberries. Food4Thought has a convenient location out by the airport that was good for pickup once or twice a week. More produce was added. Fabulous fruit and veggie boxes were available. Bags of locally grown fruit could be bought at a low cost. How convenient, how healthy, how delicious. So, will Food4Thought continue to sell to the public after the pandemic ends? We will wait and see. I am hopeful.
