This place is SO GOOD. We stopped in on a Wednesday night, in the middle of a road trip (staying at the springhill suites up the street) and what a treat! Our server, Argenis, was so friendly and helpful and everything we ate was just delicious. We had (4 of us) miso soup, seaweed salad, spicy edamame, gyoza, California roll, triple 3 roll, dynamite roll, pink lady roll, dreams come true roll, tiger roll, salmon family roll and a bluefin avocado roll. The service was also mediocre-- no one paying attention when we were trying to order etc. Also our edamame came out 10 minutes after the roll. Not ideal. My first dining experience was pretty great as it was a slower weekday night, and we had a reservation. The sushi here is some of my fav in Columbus! However, I have tried on 3 different accounts to place a to-go order during slow hours on weekends. Due to their low staffing they said they cannot fulfill takeout orders. I cut them some slack the first two times as I know they've only been open a couple months. On the third account of trying to order takeout they said I could call back after 8:00 pm to place an order. When I called back a few hours later at 8:05 pm hungry and ready for sushi, they said they will not be taking any to-go orders. Overall frustrating when a tasty sushi place close to me cannot fulfill an 2-roll order for over a month now. I hope they can figure out their staffing or organization. read more

It is SO fresh. My fiancé and I got 3 rolls. It is not your traditional sushi restaurant because each roll had about 10 pieces and were very filling. This is a new restaurant that just opened in Bridge Park about less than a month ago. The ambience was nice and I liked some of the decor. We got to sit in their heated patio. I went with their vegetable hibachi where we got to choose between white or fried rice. It also came with a side option of either miso soup or a salad. The salad was a pretty decent size for a side and came with ginger dressing, which was pretty good. The hibachi itself wasn't bad but it could use some flavor and spice. It also arrived at our table cold. I asked our waitress for any chili oil or chili sauce or even a hot sauce. But she said they didn't really have any which was extremely surprising for an Asian restaurant. Typically, I would see some sort of chili sauce on the table already. But she did come back with a sweet sauce that had a little kick to it. They said that they were known for hibachi, but it didn't seem like real hibachi, just stirfried vegetables and fried rice. And then I went with an avocado, cucumber roll. For drinks, I went with their lychee rose cocktail. It came in a glass with rose petals on the side. But the drink itself felt pretty bland. I could taste some rose, but no lychee or alcohol for that matter. I felt the same way when I tried my friends taro cocktail I could taste some hints of taro, but for the most part, it was pretty bland, and I couldn't taste much alcohol. That may be the style of this restaurant. I'm not sure. but I wasn't a fan of that and would've preferred to taste more flavor in a cocktail. All the employees were nice and helpful, including our waitress. Although I felt they were a bit slow on getting back to their tables even though they weren't very busy but they are new, so that's ok. I think I will definitely come back to give it another shot and I would like to try their vegetable sushi combo in the future! I personally had higher expectations since the restaurant is being advertised as high scale. I hope the restaurant will take in my thoughts. read more

I love the variety in the sushi menu. My server told me about the chopped wasabi that isn't listed on the menu. I tried it and I'll never want regular wasabi again! Delicious! Mediocre at best. The sushi was fishy (my wife's word was "skanky"). Many of the rolls have trash filler ingredients like cream cheese and asparagus. There are good sushi places in Dublin. Highly recommend this place. My husband and I were originally heading to get sushi only to find our original destination to be closed. I am so happy they were because we ended up here and it was AMAZING! Our food was so good I forgot to get a picture. We had the shrimp hibachi (so much flavor), the SL Roll and the I-270 roll. The good and average. - Sushi/Sashimi: Variety/Options are nice. More than the average sushi joint. The quality, prep and sizes were very good. The prices, $2-3 more than other high quality places and much more than all of the average places out there. - Spicy roll: I don't like the amount of tempura they mix with the fish in the roll. It makes it seem like filler and it is all you taste with the roll and gives bad texture. I do like that they are light on the rice on the rolls. - Server (Thomas) was very pleasant, nice and a good asset to the business. - Atmosphere: It's Ok. Pretty bright and plain. I had made reservations for my fiancé's birthday for this evening. When we arrived the restaurant was mostly empty and there were several smaller booths available. I let the hostess know we had reservations and asked if we could have a booth. She said no, these were only for people with reservations. I then repeated that we did have reservations and she changed her answer, saying these were reserved for people with larger parties. The entire time we were there, no one occupied any of these four booths other than another couple. Instead, we were seated at a ridiculously small table, I would guess 2ft by 2ft. The table was also very unsteady and any movement, no matter how small, would rock it. Our waiter arrived and he was nice. We placed our order, our edamame was brought out first by a different hostess. When I asked if there was any sauce to dip it in she gave me a wide eyed, bewildered stare before condescendingly telling me that it was tossed in salt. She and the hostess who greeted us were both pretentious and condescending in their own special ways lol. This leads us to the main event of the evening! When the platter of sushi was laid at our incredibly small table, my fiancé accidentally knocked over a glass of water. All of the tables surrounding us literally fell silent and glared at us, it was bizarre. He might as well have stood up and let out an enormous fart given the way they looked at us. Fortunately, we happen to be laidback people with a sense of humor and were able to laugh about it once we left the oppressive environment of the restaurant. The food was good, worth mentioning that after our food had been brought out, I asked the waiter for soy sauce and that's when he told us that it was in the pot on the table. Would have been nice to know before we got the edamame. All in all, I would not recommend if you are looking to have a good time in a relaxed environment. read more

Our waiter was clueless and I'll blame our experience on him, and the lack of leadership or process at the restaurant. We had to ask for everything and waited forever. We waited 30 minutes for drinks. 30 more for our apps. 30 more for dinner. 30 more for a glass of wine, which arrived when the check came. The service is better anywhere else. Another reviewer said there was an automatic 20% gratuity, which we can't confirm, as we didn't pay attention. Ambience...not sure if they are done decorating but it looks like they need to clean all of the surfaces. We will give it another try but will sit at the bar.
