We booked Song River for our wedding reception and Quyen (the owner) was so helpful from the very beginning. Im an overwhelmed bride, and only child with no siblings, and my mother has Dementia so i was doing it all alone. I never had my wedding planned from a young age so I was completely lost and scared where to begin and wanted something easy. Quyen was there to guide me and literally wipe the tears from my face (I got overwhelmed and cried). We booked the space from 11am to 11pm and Quyen sent over an amazing detailed guide to help plan my wedding and reception. I chose one of her pre-selected decorations options and it turned out so beautiful. I believe the package was called "the silk" i cant recall but it was worth it. All lights and decorations are fully customizable and we chose to go with white table linens/chairs and blue/purple lights. Vendors were a BREEZE, as she let's you bring anyone so long as they are licensed and insured. But dont stress because Quyen has a list of vendors she has worked with that know the space, we ended up choosing one from that list for food and bar and purchased the beer/wine to save some $$$. Venues are expensive but Song River is very affordable in today's market, and honestly worth so much more with how beautiful, large, and customizable the space is. Quyen is professional, kind, and knowledgeable, you will want her on your team and you will want to book this space. 10/10 amazing experience and memorable reception! read more

We absolutely loved our wedding at Song River Monroe on 02/17/2019. It was a pleasure working with the owner, Quyen throughout the wedding planning process. She was always so personable, professional, and responsive whenever we reached out to her with questions/concerns. The Decorator was also incredibly helpful and sweet and did a fantastic job of setting up all of the decor. Quyen was detailed in explaining our contract and there were no last minute issues or surprises. Anytime we went to meet with them, we were greeted well. The best thing about the venue is, they have decorators, DJ and photographer. I'm based in New York and it was incredibly hard to plan all the details in advance and find vendors. However, with the help of Quyen and her team I didnt have to worry much. I came to Seattle last week and completely re-did the design, colors, and wall decor. The decorator was super flexible and pretty much spent all her week to accomodate us. We met at her house once and planned it all and she did an amazing job. She is also super friendly. The decors name is Pearl Studio, and the DJ's called Eternally Yours. I spoke to photographer once about the quote/price and the next message came from him prior to the event just to confirm. He arrived o time, had a positive attitude and sent us the photos in 2 weeks. They came out really well. Their name is Sound Originals. We worked with a family caterer for food and arranged staff accordingly. Compared to other Seattle venues Song River was very reasonably priced. The venue truly creates a "party" vibe, in a chic, yet classic setting. We had over 300 guests and the dance space was honestly good for everyone. Space gets lit with the lighting. It does have positive feelings especially after all the decor! Our wedding was gorgeous, the reception ran so smoothly, and I can't recommend Song River enough! Venue staff is pretty amazing. The owner is very kind. I own a wedding entertainment company which has done several events with them. Every time they are accommodating, professional, and courteous to every person walking through their doors. The Bridal Suite is newly remodeled and is stunning. The design is classic and traditional, lots of spaces to stage or create unique environments. Full Bar, Fireside front room, small wooden stage and large full stage. This space is whatever you want it to be. Classic and beautiful as it is or whatever you want to create. The main room has gorgeous hardwood floors. They INCLUDE tables, white linens and Chiavari Chairs for 2019/2020! Huge savings for everyone there. The best part of Song River is that it is all indoors and weather in Washington state is a huge obstacle sometimes, which Song River doesn't have to worry about. It is open for reservation pretty much year round. It's a completely contained, indoor venue seating up to 400 at 10 person round tables comfortably. Parking is everywhere on the weekends and the weeknights when events would be held. Overnight accommodations can be made at the newly remodeled Best Western Plus Sky Valley, a 2 minute drive away. Less than 1/2 mile away from Al Borland Park on the Skykomish River for stunning riverside pictures, and centered amid a new urban revitalization of the downtown Monroe area. First off, this place is located in Downtown Monroe, WA. I've never heard of Monroe before, but I was told the city is known for its prison... Anyways! Back to the venue! What a cute little place to throw a grand party. The place is decorated really nicely and perfect for throwing a wedding reception/banquet or Quinceañera. I didn't take pictures of the place but check out the Yelp listing for pictures! They have a bar near the entrance loaded with lots of alcohol. Perfect for those party people who come for drinks. The women's restroom has a real baby changing table, you know, the ones you can buy at Target! They provide you wipes to change your baby. Just remember to bring your baby's diapers! I had an amazing experience at Song River Banquet Hall. The owner Ms. Quyen is beyond helpful and open. The owner helped us with bartending and coordinated with the wedding decorator Ms. Dao from Pearl Studio to make my wedding looked so beautiful and elegant. It was beyond perfect and stress free for the hall portion. I highly recommend this Hall for wedding or parties. We easily seated 250 people with large dance floor and stage. The bathrooms are very clean and the bar is off to the side. The entrance is perfect for photo booth. read more

I recently was the day of coordinator for a wedding at Song River. Quyen and Olive run a great wedding venue. Song River is at a great location, with plenty available parking, beautiful venue, and in-house decoration (depending on the package you choose). They are very communicative, thorough, accommodating, and helpful in the planning process leading up to the big day and are also present the day of. Day of, there are extremely attentive with your program of events and check-in as appropriate to offer any help or suggestions. After our original all inclusive venue shut down 10 days before our wedding we scrambled to put together a wedding in less than 2 weeks. Quyen was amazing! She was out of town on a conference but still worked with us to make sure we had everything we wanted and stayed in our budget. The venue is beautiful. There is a lot of parking around Song River, which made it so nice for our guests. Our wedding day turned out even better than the one we had been planning for a year would have.
