How have I not heard of these kind of kringles before?! I have never really been a fan of kringles, it's just not my kind of pastry. But this Frankenstein version that Mike's offers that is seemingly a blend of both a kringle and a king cake (the real New Orleans kind)? Heck ya. I will gladly devour this and will be back as often as my travels allow. I was passing through town and stopped in around noon on a Saturday and was thankful to see they had not yet sold out of Kringles for the day. Almond was the only choice left, so I went for it ($22.95)! Plus, a fudgy brownie because why not? Customer service was very friendly and helpful. After checking out I placed the massive kringle and brownie in the trunk so I could get it home to my family without me nibbling on it the entire 2-hour drive home. Once home, I have never seen my family devour a kringle so fast. From the grandparents to the little kiddos, everyone enjoyed Mike's take on a kringle. A MUST TRY! The Kringles were so good, we even stopped a second time when we passed through the city on our way home! They had a ton of different desserts, espresso drinks, and even breakfast sandwiches made on their fresh-made bagels. A few of the Kringles were cut up to sample which helped us choose between the many flavors. You can also get half of one so it's less of a commitment, or so you can get 2 different flavors to make a whole one. We loved the pumpkin and raspberry! All of the employees were incredibly sweet and didn't rush us while we decided on everything. If you're around Green Bay, definitely add this to your list! read more

I would give a zero if I could..What happened this business has become unresponsive and definitely not customer service oriented. We used to stop here all the time and have placed orders for delivery. Ordered 2 Kringles for delivery on 2/2 and still hasnt shipped as of 2/8. We were staying nearby and my sister insisted we stop so she could buy a Kringle. I never did sample that. You can also buy 1/2 a Kringle which is a plus. It was pretty busy but it was 8:30 on a weekday morning. It took a bit to get waited on. The place has more than just bakery but that was our focus. I did buy both a cronut which was good but not sure it was worth almost $4 and a peanut square. I fondly remembered peanut squares from my youth. Hands down this was my favorite new try of all the establishments I visited on a 12 day trip to Wisconsin. Five star award winning Kringle, love every Kringle I've tried here, however $46 for a small loaf fruit cake is outrageous. Also enjoy their selection Collectivo Coffee. Highly recommend their seasonal Kringles, also cannot go wrong with a classic like the raspberry cream cheese. read more

All I have to say is since owner past the Bakery has gone downhill. The last cringles I bought where very short on filling. That being Apple, cherry raspberry, etc. Plus, they must have messed with the ingredients of the filling . Kringle now falls short of what they used to be. read more

When visiting Green Bay, you must drive over to De Pere, for to visit this bakery. Outstanding display of every type of pastry you could possibly think of along with any other baked goods. I mostly come here for the famous Krinkle. The two of my goto is cherry and the raspberry. Worth the 10 minute drive from Green Bay. read more

The food here is good and sweet. I went home with a loaf of raisin walnut bread today. The bread is usually $6-7 but is half off on Sunday's because it is a day old. My wife had to get a petite four ($1.65 each) because they looked great. I have been here a few times and never tried their coffee bar. Today I got a mocha latte. On the way out I thought it was light so I looked in the cup. For $5 it isn't cheap and I would expect a full cup. The latte is good though and could hold up to the competition. Their Kringle is great. The cherry chip angel food cake is my wife's favorite. The donuts are worth a treat but we have rule of getting quality sweets but not too often. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, this would be the place to do so!! A smell of buttery goodness overwhelms the air (in a good way) l, when you walk in! Upon walking in the door, I was amazed by how many sample items were available to taste on the glass counter. Easily more than 10 goodies to try! You could easily have a meal tasting the samples. I was there to buy some donuts for a customer. All of the donuts looked really good, so i settled on six and a turtle paczki for myself (o.m.g. the turtle paczki....soooo delicious!!) It never fails that I get read the riot act if I'm unable to make the stop on the way to work, or even worse, dare to offer Dunkin Donuts as a substitute! It should simply be noted that because it is a very fresh, made daily style bakery, the prices are reflective of that in being slightly higher than alternatives in the area. While we love Uncle Mike's, this morning was the third time that we drove out of our way for donuts at 6am only to be told "Trucks not here yet and we don't know where it is or what time it will be here". Roads are 100% dry so bad roads hasn't been the issue. When you open your doors at 6am, those shelves should be stocked, ie, the truck needs to leave on time in order to make that happen. I mean their kringle brings out the hungry coworkers I have in droves that is for sure. Always a hit besides the kringle their bread is really good and I love their bun options. They do not have a location near me in Green Bay so it is a bit of a drive and more of a special treat for us but totally worth the drive.
