I guess because it's a sports bar restaurant, and it's in Bakersfield. I got the shock of my life. It turned out, this was the best barbecue food I ever had. Not only that, but it's very affordable. I would say a bargain. I didn't have to spend 100+ dollars for 2 persons, like a lot of so called high quality barbecue restaurants. The briskets and ribs were amazing. Delicious, flavorful, and melts in your mouth. Sides were also delicious. The service was good too. You just go up and get your order. It took a little time, but the staff is helpful and friendly. I'll be back here again, the next time I'm in Bakersfield. Maybe I'll visit the Buck Owen's museum. Bakersfield is truly the Texas of California, although I've only been to El Paso, Texas.

It wasn't horrible by any means, just not quite on the level of a couple other burger spots I usually go to. The patties are on the thinner side, but that seems to be the norm at most casual burger joints these days. This feels like an easy fix though, cook the patties a little less and this burger would level up fast! Would I swear off this place forever? No. But if I know there's a better burger option open, that's probably where I'll go first. We appreciate your help and generous response to affected residents. I was grateful to see FBI agents at the restaurant. I was able to thank them for their courage and service in bringing the situation to a resolution. Grateful to have a safe space to work and enjoy a complimentary meal. The food was great and the service was impeccable. The empathy from staff is truly commendable. I appreciate the staff and proprietors of Locale Farm to Table.
