It's really hit or miss at this Sonic. I only ever order one large drink, and it's the exact same order every time. Some days it's brought out within a couple of minutes, and other days I'm left waiting forever. Today I placed a mobile order and checked in at 3:13 during my 30-minute lunch break. There was a car broken down in the drive-thru, which I completely understand can slow things down. But while I was waiting, I watched multiple cars that arrived after me get their orders and leave. Some of them had several drinks and food, while I was still waiting on one large drink. After about 20 minutes, I pressed the button and told the employee I'd been waiting. She responded that, as I could see, there was a broken-down car and they were trying to go as fast as they could. I understood that, but it didn't explain why everyone else was getting served while I continued to be overlooked. I watched more orders being brought out, so I pressed the button again and asked for a refund because I had already spent almost my entire lunch waiting. Only then did someone finally bring out my drink and tell me they were refunding it. The refund didn't fix the situation. I ended up late getting back to work, and I couldn't even enjoy the drink because I'm not allowed to have drinks in my work area. My entire lunch break was wasted waiting for one drink. Another frustrating thing about this location is that they don't sell bags of ice. The Sonic on the east side and the Rosedale location both do, so I don't understand why this one doesn't. It's inconvenient when the other locations offer it. I also have to admit that by the time I pressed the button the second time, I wasn't very friendly because I was so frustrated. After that interaction, it honestly made me question whether I even wanted to drink what I was handed. That's not a feeling any customer should leave with. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this location. It's frustrating because it's the closest Sonic to both my home and my job, but the service is too inconsistent to count on, especially if you're on a time limit. read more

We wanted to get a snack today so we decided to stop by sonic. I ordered mozzarella sticks. And it came one giant mozzarella stick. The quality control for this is absolutely horrendous. There's no way that should've been sold. The drive-through has several potholes in it too. They need to get that fixed. It would help the look of the whole restaurant. There's nowhere to dine inside. I previously reviewed that I enjoyed the staff. However, it seems much of the team that were kind and helpful have left. The newer staff are not kind nor helpful. I recently had to tell them 3 times what I had ordered on mobile to finally get the right item. I used to go almost everyday. Not anymore. Food was good, surprisingly, haha! I really don't care for Sonic food but I was so impressed with the guy who served us. 8am on a Monday 10/13/25. The location was dead, no lines, great! Our food took a little bit longer but the guy was by himself doing everything. Inspite of that, he served us respectfully, professional, and the food was hot, fresh and tasted good. Thank you Sonic drive-thru guy. However, he gave us a weird lid that didn't fit the coffee cup i ordered but he did warn us, and of course, a few feet driving away from the window, we already spilled the coffee, but that was because the pavement around the store was very uneven. I always come here and seem to find the bag without my dipping sauce. When coming throw they are respectful but I find it they forget to put the right sauce or get the orders wrong at times. Once you catch that you don't have your sauce they do give them to you nicely. I find it really annoying to have to drive back to the place once I leave the drive in . read more

Today I was looking for a treat for my daughter who just got shots for kindergarten. We stopped here and I asked her what she wants. Of course she sees the advertisement for the Sour Patch Float and has to have it. She is a fan of all the components so it has to be food right. When I handed it to her she took a drink and her eyes lit up. She said it was so delicious but she wanted the straw and the spoon so she could drink and then eat the ice cream. As I'm driving home I am overhearing her say things like come to mama and come here my precious. A little concerned but I am guessing she likes it. I ask for a sip and it's a watermelon slush with ice cream and sour Patch kids pieces. It's a little to sour for me but it's flavorful and it's definitely something sour Patch kids fans would love. It's cold, refreshing, sweet and sour. Im good with my large coke zero with extra ice though, she can have all the fun drinks. The service was quick and people were pleasant. read more

Then I got in line to get a quick dinner, unfortunately the car in front of me had a friend here, an employee who stood and talked to her in line rather than let her go up and put in her order. Decent Sonic where you can order in your parked car (and someone will bring the order out to you) or through the drive-thru. Came on a late night and the ordering process was very straightforward. After pushing the bus 3rd time I got tired of waiting and drove to the window. The person at the window ask was I the one waiting in parking spot 12 when I confirmed that I was she stated that the microphone was not working a d so.e9 e had torn off the note. Boycott this sonic in the 08 they're horrible, service was shitty, they put food together crappy, then hands me all my stuff in a rush almost drops my food, to then say ok you can go now..... .....ummm no not without my credit card, she then tried to tell me she gave it to me, I said ummmm no. .....then apologizes and says it's being ran in the back.....wtf for??? The best thing I can say is the car hop was friendly and pleasant. We stopped for an early lunch on the way north. We ordered a cheesy pretzel dog, grilled chicken wrap and dunked buffalo chicken sandwich. Initially they got our order wrong, bringing the wrong item and over charging us. On the whole the food was not too good. We could not taste the hot dog in the pretzel. The grilled chicken wrap was flavorless and the chicken was rubbery. The chicken in the sandwich was undercooked. The custard concrete shakes tasted ok but were not any different than any other shake. I hope the quality of the food at this sonic does not reflect the quality of them all. read more

The absolute slowest service. I didn't see an "adult" in the whole place, it looked like several high school kids with no guidance. I waited in my car for over 20 mins and saw 2 orders get sent back from obviously being made incorrectly and then the attendants drink them in the kitchen while not rushing to remake those incorrect orders. I had to yell to get a young mans attention and ask about our food to even get service. And when our order did arrive it was incorrect. They brought me half of another persons order. The speaker system at the car hop is so piercing it made the conversation with the cashier very unpleasant and deafening so much so I was very very uncomfortable. Definatley need to adjust that volume. Then when I went to use their card swiper, it read as "invalid". I advised them their system was not authorizing my card, although I have enough funds in my account. They swiped my card indoors instead to see if it would process. It did. What should have taken less than 10 minutes from start to finish took 30 minutes because my order was inaccurate, although the receipt clearly showed my order had been rung up correctly. My order: The garlic Parmesan wings were barely coated with the garlic sauce and tasted more like chicken without sauce. The buffalo boneless were thoroughly coated and tasted good. The manager was very apologetic, fixed the order and threw in a free 32 oz. Slush. However, he forgot to communicate that to the girl that delievered my correct order. So all in all, I would say not a typical service for Sonic, at least not from my experience. Maybe I hit a shift change. Just glad my order is complete. I am giving it two stars this time, however, if want to say that it is based entirely on this visit. I will still revisit the location and try again. read more

This is my favorite ice tea stop ! Route 44 ice tea , extra ice and lemon :-) yes please!!! The shakes are pretty tasty too!! I'm not big on this type of food , but must admit the occasional onion ring or chili cheese tots feeds my junk food cravings. They of course have the happy hour between 2-4 unfortunately my work hours make this impossible to enjoy , but hey the weekends I'm on it !! My only reason for not adding a 5th star is the drive ups , seems in the years I've been going a good amount of them don't always work . Especially the payment option ... That gets a star minus.
