Worst drive-through experience in the tri-state. You can be the only person on the lot and they'll still ask you to wait when you get the menu instead of taking your order. What are you doing in there that is more important than greeting your customer!?! Am I annoying you by stopping? And then about 50% of the time you don't get the size you ordered on at least one item. I couldn't tell you how many times I ordered a large chili cheese fry and ended up with a small. Same with milkshakes. Listen to your customers. I know they're an annoyance and they stop you from doing whatever it is you're doing that's clearly more important...but still....we're paying money for a product. Food: For a drive-in, it's really tasty. Really expansive menu with a lot of beverage & dessert options too. I recommend the tots, footlong coney, popcorn chicken, and shakes. Service: Park and press the red button when you're ready to order. Not super-quick, but part of a drive-in is its laid back nature. Sit, listen to music, eat, talk, etc. Price: Really affordable. 2 can eat for under $10 Atmosphere: It's a mass-market spin on a classic idea. Servers always seem friendly and welcoming. We stopped here on a road trip a couple of years ago. Service at Sonic is always good where ever you go, but I remember the people at this Sonic being extra friendly. We had a problem locating the Sonic. Our GPS sent us to an old location I think. We ended up finding a phone number and giving them a call, and they were nice enough to give us directions. read more

Stopped here twice. First time, bad service (rude and unhelpful). Second time, a rubbery hot dog. Seriously, I lived in New York City for three years, and actually ate hot dogs from street vendors there. This was a whole other world of un-meat. Do NOT buy their hot dogs! I went to Sonic last night to get some dinner for my daughters, popcorn chicken and tots. We waited over 10 minutes after pushing the button for our order to be taken then we waited another 15 for the food to come out. The woman that brought the food out apologized for the wait. I assumed maybe they were just super busy at the moment so when my children asked if they could get a pumpkin pie milkshake I said OK and I hit the button again to order them a milkshake. I waited over 10 minutes for someone to come on and take the order, when she finally came on the speaker and I ordered the milkshakes she told me they were out of the pumpkin pie milkshakes and the pumpkin pie custard's. Since at this point we have already been here for 40 minutes I just went ahead and ordered two mini Reese milkshakes. I waited 20 more minutes for two mini milkshakes to come out and since I had already paid I couldn't just leave without them. I do not recommend this Sonic. I could have gone to a steak house and had a full meal with desert in the time it took them to bring me popcorn chicken, tots, and two mini milkshakes. read more
