This rating is for the wait! 6 donuts and a frap took 30 min? one older man working and it seems like he cant keep up. Please hire help. Its 30 min wasted waiting. For this reason alone i will not be back!! Also this place doesnt look very clean!

Many creative flavors but the real joy is in the base. A donut made in front of you - for you. Maple Bacon is absolutely my favorite. Something for everyone - even the plain is mouthwatering.

The children behind the counter were not good at doing their jobs- NOT QUALIFIED- they gave us milk and claimed it was hot chocolate. It was not hot chocolate. They gave us donuts that looked like they had been through war before handing them to us. The sprinkles were thrown around without reason. There was so much frosting everywhere. The box was broken. And so incredibly gross. There was frosting seeping out of the box and we had to tell them to wipe it. Very disappointing over

Not sure if this is a chain or not but the donut shop we visited was in a shopping plaza. Long lines usually indicate, it's a popular place. That was for sure the reason. Small shop with made to order donuts. Hot inside but worth the wait and visit. Order 6 donuts( different types ) They have like 30 or so to choose from. We ordered the S'mores, Blueberry pancake, chocolate sprinkles, peanut butter, a lemon one and a maple bacon. All were devine. Come hot and fresh. Definitely a knife and fork needed with extra napkins. Flavor blast throughout every bite. About $2.50 per donut or about $13 for a half dozen. Extra thought..... the breakfast sandwiches LOOKED absolutely amazing. Hopefully will try soon. Coffee from what I heard was just coffee. Overall for a donut shop. 8.5 out of 10.

Three employees working on topping donuts.

Donuts were tasty... Service was interesting. One child was working the register and two other children were topping the donuts. None of the employees were wearing hairnets/hats which was kind of gross. I love family run businesses, but let's try and follow FDA code for food handling please.

We had Duck Donuts delivered on a rainy morning and were surprised the doughnuts still tasted fresh out of the oven. Sometimes you sacrifice quality when you get things delivered but that was not the case. My favorites were the bacon and blueberry but all were so good. Great flavors, wide variety of options and melt in your mouth kind of sweetness. Looking online this might be a chain (could be wrong??) but I've never heard of it before so felt new to me!

My mom and I stopped this morning at Duck Donuts for their donuts. They have about 50 different flavors of donuts that are available all day every day from 7 AM to 5 PM. They also have about 12 different seasonal donuts to pick from. My mom did a coconut donut and a sunrise donut for $2.75 a piece. Everyone inside was super friendly and very nice regarding questions about their donuts. Duck donuts reminds me of a family run donut shop with great selections to pick from- super close shop very cute ambiance. 10/10

This is THE spot for donuts on HHI! Duck Donuts knows how to knock it out of the park every time with their flavor combos and fun offerings. We even snagged a couple cute rubber duckies as souvenirs on the way out. If you're looking for something to help with that sweet tooth when you're on-island, come here!

These donuts are freshly made to order not sure I've seen that before really enjoyable service with a friendly smile. There's so many to choose from. It's a bit overwhelming so maybe look at the menu before you go. They have these pre-sorted boxes that you can choose from that's what's on the wall or on the glass when you walk in you can watch them make the donuts, but to be honest if I were you check them out online ahead of time pre-order walk in grab it and go. They also have coffee on the weekends they serve Egg sandwiches and such.

    Delicious donuts!

Delicious! They dress the fresh donuts right in front of you, loading it up with your choice of glazes and toppings, with a big menu of flavor combos to choose from. Warm donuts, freshly glazed, so delicious!

The donuts are fine. No better choice I know of on Hilton Head for them. My issue is that the place feels dirty and disheveled. Looking over the counter things are sloppy and messy. I don't love that.

Loved this spot! The crew was so welcoming and chatty. The donuts were also INCREDIBLE! They were so fresh and even still tasted good the next day. I highly recommend!

He said it was generally more of a local than a tourist place, though everyone is welcome. They share a large parking lot with a shopping plaza. It appears that there is a Publix going in soon. Also, some areas had signs about using a QR code to validate parking, but apparently those were not activated yet (and seemed unpopular with the staff). It was fairly crowded when we arrived (probably 9:30 a.m.). However, they apparently just expanded and took over the adjoining space (formerly a t-shirt shop). So though the 'original' booths and counter stools were mostly taken, there appeared to be open tables in the new space. Service was sort of tag-team; whoever walked by and noticed that you needed something tried to take care of it. That is in no way a complaint - it was an efficient system. We all ordered and had a short wait for the food, given the volume of customers. When it arrived, everyone liked their platters. I had a cheese omelet, bacon, and hash browns. All were quite tasty. The coffee was good too. Prices were reasonable. I'm not much of a 'breakfast out' person at home, but if I were on HHI for any period of time, I'd definitely go back here.

While the grits themselves were cooked nicely and packed with cheese, the dish completely lacked pizzazz. There was no sauce or any other component to bring it together; it was quite literally a tiny piece of dry fish sitting on top of a helping of grits. The cheese arepa was just okay. Decently cheesy, but nothing particularly great. The takeout packaging was another disappointment. They used a Styrofoam container lined with paper. As you can imagine, the paper didn't stand a chance against wet grits; it broke apart completely, and I'm pretty sure I ended up ingesting some of it. A cardboard box would be a much better vessel since it doesn't require a paper lining (not to mention Styrofoam is terrible for both your health and the environment). I wouldn't recommend ordering these specific items, and I definitely wouldn't recommend getting takeout from here.

There is very limited indoor seating and the outside has a nice twinkle-light atmosphere with live music. There were so many cute dogs that joined their owners! We wished we had some dipping aioli for the fries, which we had upgraded to truffle and parm. We both agreed that without this upgrade the fries might have been a bit too bland. The half order is enough for two people. Instead of a soda machine, they have fridges with bottled beverages. I'm very glad they offer Coke products as opposed to Pepsi. Good choice. This is genuinely one of the best burgers around. The waffle fries deserve a special mention: fresh, nicely done, and you get a generous portion. Think Chick-fil-A fries, but the way they should be. The Truffle Fries are solid too -- just a bit rich for my taste, but that's purely personal preference. I also tried the Sweet & Spicy Chicken -- good and flavorful, though slightly heavy on the batter for me. Still worth a try. A Couple of Suggestions: A lower-carb side option would be a welcome addition -- I asked and it was a hard no. Hopefully Tin and Tallow considers adding some healthier alternatives down the road. Breakfast -- Proceed with Caution: The croissant with egg and cheese was, unfortunately, a miss for me. The egg and cheese were fine, but buttering an already butter-heavy croissant and griddling it turned it into a flat, gooey mess. I hear there's a biscuit option, which might be better -- but personally, I'd love to see an English muffin or bagel on the menu. Something with a little more structure would go a long way. Bottom Line: Come for the burgers and fries -- you won't be disappointed. Just maybe skip the croissant breakfast for now.
