The stuffed grape leaves were tender and flavorful with lemon and a touch of mint; the hummus was creamy smooth and not overpowering; the gluten-free pita was warm, soft, and flavorful (the best I've ever had); and the gyro platter was fabulous - perfect meat slices, fresh greek salad with real greek dressing and chunks of feta and kalamata olives; and we had a side of fries that were plentiful (but not greek style, surprisingly). My husband never eats tzatziki or grape leaves - and he loved them here! A new favorite for us!!!! read more

Short and sweet pretty good food with decent service My friends and I ordered grape leaves and baba ghanoush as appetizers which were gone in seconds Then followed with a kafta kabob plate which strangely the flavors and texture were a bit off from other kaftas I've had but still good, gyro plate surprisingly a lot of meat and one tiny piece of pita which was a different kind of pita from what you're served with appetizers but the taste was great definitely would come back for the gyro, and then finally a lentil soup we were all a fan of. Service here was really slow for how small it is inside and how much staff there is and there's a returning customer favoritism that I've spotted kinda sweet but also I'm hungry I'd like to place my order after waiting for 15-20 minutes Just under $100 for all the food which wasn't bad at all I'd just maybe skip on the kafta next time read more

Arriving early (6) on a weeknight, we were absolutely delighted with the attention and enthusiasm of our server, Jess, and the food did not disappoint! Feeling very cozy in the intimate setting, we had a super meal! From the melt in your mouth GLUTEN FREE pita, as well as traditional pita with baba, a traditional Lebanese red wine( recommended), that I forgot to get a photo of our seafood platter ( a very crab filled crab cake, shrimp and salmon) and beef and lamb platter. We went with friends to Olive and Fig at 6:30PM. It was our first time but our friends had been before. 3 of us had the Gyro and my husband had the Schwarma. Because we were with friends, we did not say anything, but when I received the plate I could not believe the size for the 28.00 that my plate cost! As soon as the plates were served we asked for more Tzatziki sauce when we were told that he would have to charge extra for that. The portion compared to the cost was the size of a children's portion. The Greek salad was not more than a spoon full along with the overpowering oil and vinegar dressing on it. (Definitely not an authentic Greek salad no olives no cucumbers and one tiny cube of Feta) I definitely would not recommend this restaurant as it is overpriced and underwhelming. As for the service, what service? Do not waste your time or your money go to Olympia on the riverfront in Savannah great service prices are very reasonable and the portions are grown up sized! read more

This place was lovely!! The ambiance was lovely!! The food was lovely!! We went to celebrate a birthday and brought an infant with us who the staff weren't bothered by. They actually welcomed his presence, which we were grateful for. The owner was really sweet and warm also. She was very personable and seemed to be in good spirits! The lights are low with little mini lamps at each tabletop. The space is intimate so I recommend making reservations. And get the Kafta kebab platter! read more

6-21-24 Lunch Came here for a ladies luncheon, we were a group of 15. The restaurant was prepared and had three tables pre-set up to accommodate everyone. We definitely preferred the seating better as we were able to talk to the other ladies at our table. The service was amazing. I can't tell you too much how wonderful they were. The owner spoke to us about the food and where she is from. It was very interesting especially regarding the differences in the bread and how the authentic is not as sweet. I as many that I could tell had the Gyro lunch platter. The fries looked too tempting not to order as everything is made fresh. last experience there was a bit of a disappointment. my partner and I ordered the giant appy platter (you pick 10 dips n such ) . it's a fun idea. but they brought us a small basket w the equivalent of a single thin (think pita skin) sliced up in quarters. maybe enough for one , maybe two of the ten small bowls of dip. I immediately (jokingly) said "we'll need a lot more of those!" and I was told (even though I think appy platter was super pricy ) that would be an extra charge. I think maybe because we were only two sharing the platter they gave us like 1/5th the pitas needed. we would have paid for extra but the waitress never came back. my partner was eating out of the dip bowls with his spoon so I could have the limited pita...another waitress had to clear the appy bowls and looked at so many unfinished and said "you need more pita?" (but our entrees were there") ...no extra fee I guess . when we had initially asked the initial waitress for more we got side eye (not no more stoopid pita) in truth ...we (residents) won't go back. better gyros for half the price at a couple other places . or maybe I'll BYOP (Bring my own pita ) . Olive and Fig is a favorite of ours. We arrived and were greeted as usual, like family. Victoria sat us and immediately we were treated to great service and food. We had appetizers and drinks to start. While enjoying ourselves Tammy visited us to make sure all was good. My entree of Greek salad w grilled shrimp was perfect. Other entrees, salmon and chicken were said to be delicious. It was a mid week night and they were busy. Chef came out and spoke to his customers, another nice touch. Went here on a date and the service made me feel like I was the big guy on the block. They were very intentional with how they treated my wife and I. They were fast!!! The food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. I ordered the chicken Shawarma and my wife ordered the salmon Shawarma, both gluten-free. My wife also ordered a lamb sausage dip with her gluten-free pita bread and she rated a 10/10. From start to finish the staff here was respectful, intentional, and very friendly. Aaaaamazing. If you're willing to go just off the island--like literally right over the bridge--you will find this wonderful restaurant and you will not regret it. I was looking for some dinner relatively late, like thirty minutes before closing. I tried to order takeout, not wanting to be obnoxious coming in right before they closed, but they assured me it wouldn't be a big deal. I sat at the bar and felt right at home with the very friendly staff. The food exceeded all my expectations. I wanted to try as much as possible and the mezza allowed for that.
