My boyfriend and I went to sonic drive-in on Washington Pike Bridgeville, PA today as it is very hot out. We both get our favorite drinks but today the girl came out and gave us the wrong drinks. She gave us something with strawberries in it and they were both half filled. We told her that the drinks she gave us were not our drinks and she started giving us attitude for no reason. We were very nice telling her and I showed her my order through the app and she went back in. She brought out the rest of our items still with an attitude like we did something wrong. She gave us our drinks and my slushy is mostly melted and a little bit frozen. the other drinks don't have a lot of what we were asking for. I also got an ice cream but she forgot to give us the spoon for it so we stopped her while she was walking passed still giving us attitude. When she came back she gave my bf the spoon but while walking off she started to give him the stink eye for no reason. This was one of the worst experience I have ever had at a sonic and it's really sad that this happened. I understand when your busy you get frustrated bc of how busy you are but if your customers are being nice about you giving them the wrong order it doesn't call for giving them attitude and a stink eye in the end. This was the absolute worst fast food experience I have ever had. We sat and waited in the drive through over 40 minutes on Sat. March 22, 2026. From 6:35 to 7:16. The car directly in front of us was at the order microphone for 20 minutes. He argued with the child cashier calling her names and demanding free tots for their extremely long wait time. If we weren't next in line we would have left. By the time we got to the order microphone and placed our order the girl had gotten it wrong. We went over it again speaking clearly and she still got it wrong. Out of pure frustration I spoke up over my husband and canceled the order. We were unfortunately stuck in the single lane unable to move for an additional 10 minutes before the car in front of us got their order. I wish to God we would have left after the first 15 minutes like the four or five other cars behind us did. Ken Miller is the name that was given to us when we asked for a managers information. No thank you for waiting was ever said, no offer for a free beverage or any reasonable accommodation was made. Just an hour of our time wasted and a couple dollars of gas wasted with our truck running all that time. Never ever again Sonic. I now know why you have a two star rating. Such a shame. I was in the plaza running some errands and realized I hadn't eaten all day. I needed a quick small bite to eat since it was a bit after lunch and close to dinner. Their parking stalls were closed which was fine for me because there is plenty of parking surrounding this location. I got a corn dog, chili cheese tots and a cherry limeade. All of it came out perfectly and hit the spot. Corn dog was cooked to perfection. Chili Cheese tots had a sufficient amount of topping. And the cherry limeade was the perfect to was them both down. I am not a fan of their paper straws which I had no idea that they switched over to. Easy fix though and I just drank it out of the cup. Staff was nice and patient. I went through the drive through last night because it was raining and I didn't want a car hop to have to go out in it. Placed my order and paid when I got to the window. I could see the person inside who was putting my order together. He wasn't wearing gloves, and he sneezed or coughed. My immediate thought--I'm going to get sick. my son recently went to sonic and brought food home for the family. I had a double burger with fries and a drink. Unfortunately do to the distance away the fries and burger where no longer hot. Not sonics fault at all. I ordered a double hamburger with no cheese as I do not like american cheese at all. When my son got home i found out that the burger had cheese on it. So the fries where cold and the burger I had to scrape all the cheese off. I was not happy with the cheese situation. The hamburgers where ok and tasted fine. I came here for the first time ever the other day with my boyfriend, and we had a great experience. I saw a commercial for a Red Bull slushee, so we had to give it a try. I ordered a corn dog, and he ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. The slushee was great, I would definitely go there for that again. The corn dog was pretty good too, though I wish they gave me ketchup. The chicken sandwich was okay. It was like a Wendy's chicken sandwich but pretty bland. Overall I want to come back here soon! Stay away from this Sonic location! I am a fan on Sonic, however this location cheats their customers! I ordered food in the drive through and was given a total that was more than I expected. I asked for a receipt at the window, and was told by the employee that their receipt printer was broken and they couldn't print me a receipt. When I arrived home, I replicated my order through the website for that location, and found that I was overcharged by over $8. I tried calling the restaurant several times and no one picked up. I then called the corporate customer service number and filed a complaint, and was assured that the location's upper management would call me within 48 hours to discuss the issue. They never called. I will be sure to never support this location again. Buyer beware, I do not feel this was a random mistake. This was a coordinated scam they probably pull on several customers. read more

I really like this Sonic location. There's plenty of stalls to pull into, a walk-up board with some outside seating, and a drive-thru for on the go. We received our order within about 15 minutes and it was 100% accurate and piping hot. They also included plenty of napkins and plastic cutlery. They do not seem to include ketchup unless you ask, so be mindful of that. I got the slinger (burger patty made of almost 30% mushrooms to cut down on the fat/calorie content. I really enjoyed it, could not taste much of a difference! I think it's a great option for those looking for something a bit healthier (though come on, it's still not healthy)! I think the prices are really good for the quality and size of the portions. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful, and the quality is more like a burger restaurant instead of a fast food joint. This place is classic! Finally a warm day to take a ride with the top down. (wasn't Thursday nice after the long winter?) So I want to Sonic for Happy Hour. Yes, Sonic has Happy Hour were drinks are 1/2 off. lol Also, had to decide should I dine on the Patio or in the car? Patio? Car? Patio? Car? Finally chose the car. But Sonic has a patio with umbrella tables. Ordered the Chicago dog that came on a warm poppy seed bun..must have been in a steamer and was fresh. The dog can with a couple of whole sport peppers, celery salt and the usual Chicago Dog stuff...very enjoyable. Who needs Poutine when you can go to Sonic and get Tots (tater tots) with cheese or with cheese and chili sauce?!?! Chili sauce was so so, as were the Tots. You can get milk shakes with real ice cream or soda's. Decided on the root beer float...Yum! Car hop was real nice. The manager walked around twice to make sure your order had been taken and to see if you needed anything. Last year stopped by and they had a couple of car hops on roller skates. I wish I could leave zero stars. Let me start off by saying I am a very easy going person. It takes a lot to ruffle my feathers. Went to the Bridgeville location on Sunday, July 14. The stalls were closed, drive thru the only option. We were getting a large order- multiple orders, but to make it easy- just did one order to simplify things. Kindly told the worker that they had forgot a cheeseburger on our order- the manager, Seth, comes to the window. Tells me they didn't miss it while clearly pointing out on the receipt that they did. Proceeded to crumble my receipt up and throw it back to me. I am still shaking. I have never been treated so terribly and over something that they should have been apologizing for. That is also the worst example of a manager I have ever seen. Not to mention we were in the drive thru over 30 mins. I want to make Sonic aware of the employees representing their business. I usually go through the drive through, and service is always pleasant and very professional. They also get their orders out really quickly. Went here today for milk shake. What I got was banana water. Actually drove back through drive through to get money back that's how bad it was. Once at the window staff member apologized for the "shake". He said their shake machine was broke and "upper management said to mix shake mix with some ice cream and serve that". If you know something is that bad why serve it-- for the hope people won't drive back around to complain and they can keep your $5. For a chain, Sonic had intrigued me for quite a while prior to this Memorial Day weekend, T.J. and Peter, the company's quirky suburban middle-class duo of pitchmen capturing my attention and causing me to crack a smile many times whilst channel-surfing. On numerous occasions, I've come close to stopping over to this location, the one nearest to me, but never did. Perhaps I subconsciously knew I'd be let down. T.J. and Peter sadden and disturb me now. I just cannot fathom why someone, even in a supposedly humorous situation, would devote their spare time to such a place. It defies logic and requires a suspension of disbelief that is too great to hold for long. Sonic's intercom-based ordering system is novel and expedient, and we had no problems to speak of with the service. The majority of the carhops look to be recruited from the local high school's football, basketball, track, and wrestling teams. Damn, were these guys were clean-cut, fit, and disciplined! I couldn't figure out which one was a quarterback. Each time they came out with an order, it seemed as if they were jogging onto a field for a down. Regardless, they were not the archetypal fast-food employees. I was waiting for one of them to yell "Ten Hut!" And no, none of them were on rollerblades or skates. Interestingly enough, Sonic offers the entirety of their menu all day, meaning you can have a breakfast burrito for dinner or a cheesesteak sandwich for breakfast while sitting in your car...making a mess on your dashboard, on your shirt, your jeans... Yeah, we could have benefited from some window trays. Not ever having been to a Sonic Drive-In before, I naively expected that. Not that there weren't tables and chairs on their patio, but Kay wanted to "eat-in." Beholden to her will and whims am I. Sonic was her idea for Sunday evening dinner, by the way. I also assumed that beverage refills were on the house. Nope. 'Tis a pity for the lightly tart 'n bubbly Limeade washed down all of my food pleasantly and was a cool change-up from the standard soft drinks. Of course I ordered a burger, you knuckleheads! And it wasn't duff in any way, Sonic's SuperSonic Bacon Double Cheeseburger arriving squarely between that which Wendy's and Steak 'N Shake hath foisted onto the public. The patties were thin and cooked French style meaning they were as crispy as they were succulent. The foil envelopes that housed them were a nifty wrinkle. The hot dog (I wanted to try everything!), on the other hand, was a sub-Circle K failure. Only the steamed bun partially uplifted this "All-American Dog" from suicidal depression. Skipping french fries, I opted for some tater tots, and these oversalted plugs of spud were no better than any I've yanked out of a supermarket freezer. Dessert was an exercise in mixed results. The Fudge Brownie Molten Cake Sundae was topped with what was some of the very best soft serve ice cream ever to spew from a churning machine, at least in the world of franchises. Approaching a custard or gelato, I was completely taken aback with its richness and smooth texture. The level of butterfat had to be off the graph. Lord Almighty. The rest of the sundae was mostly upstaged by the ice cream, though. The cake and hot fudge possessed nowhere near enough umph to counter that ice cream. The ice cream and the whipped cream (dull in this instance) are intended to cut the decadence of the chocolate in these types of sundaes, but the chocolate was so timid, I wished I'd just ordered some of the ice cream in a cup by its lonesome. One final issue I have with this Sonic is the lack of signage. I anticipated seeing some massive, retro-futurist logo slowly rotating in the pale early evening blue yonder. Instead, we just happened upon what came off as a half-finished Sheetz after driving around a shopping plaza for several minutes attempting to find it. T.J. and Peter need to spend more time at home with their families, get out of the sticks every so often, and try some independent restaurants. I can no longer laugh at their commercials. Their banality has finally dawned on me. P.S. This Sonic is right across the road from the bar/club known as RPM's. Ironically, the first time I ever went to RPM's (does anything ever go on over there anymore?) my female friend and I were advised not to bother going to Sonic by our bartender who told us it was nothing exciting. This was about 4 years ago. P.P.S. Did you know that Sonic has its own radio station? It's as MOR as you may imagine. Don't bother with requests for techno, underground hip-hop, punk, or heavy metal, but if you're a Katy Perry fan, maaan, have you found a home. P.P.P.S. Jerry's Curb Side in Bridgewater,PA does the same thing Sonic does but with somewhat superior food, and as far as I know, Jerry's has yet to expand. P.P.P.P.S. Ed Grimley would surely be a Sonic fan. Headquarters needs to talk to Martin Short about a reprisal of the role. read more

I was in the plaza for something and we decided to eat here! The commercials always advertise delicious food and shakes.. But the menu seemed extremely basic once we were here. I couldn't even remember all of those shakes that I screamed "omg I have to try that" no idea? Soooooo we ordered 3 Jr deluxe cheeseburgers. They were on sale for $0.89. We added bacon to them and asked for no onion on one... They all came w. onion still -_- As a side, I ordered fries and my bf ordered chili cheese tots. Our food was OK, but very basic. Our total came to under $9 so that was cool. Deff glad I visited here and that we have one in the area. Will I visit again? Prob if I'm in the area, but I won't go out of my way to come here no matter how funny those commercials are or how awesome their shakes look on tv. read more
