Then when I push the button, the lady rudely asks for my order then the SECOND I start talking she interrupts me and then disconnects. I press the button again and finally get my order in. Waited 10 minutes for them to even answer the call box. Building is close to customers so there is no way to communicate with staff. Drove from Alexandria just to try the new pickle juice slushy. I know that sounds crazy but I love pickles! Drive-thru service was good. There was a family in front of me that took forever to order but when I pulled towards the drive thru window, someone walked my order outside so I didnt have to wait behind the family. If I could give it 0 stars I would. This one needs to be shut down. The dining room is always closed, along with the drive thru. You can go to the walk-up kiosk but it will take forever for someone to take your order. Once they do, you better plan on hanging out for the next 30+min for someone to bring you your order. The worst fast food restaurant. Customer service and food is terrible. This location a franchise and not governed by corporate. They're constantly out of menu items and only after waiting in an enormous line when its your time to place your order is when you are informed of 90 % of items are out. Yes this has happened twice, but it will not be a third time. The electricity is often out. My complaint to corporate. on Nov. 14,2021 On this day, I waited for 43 minutes until I was able to place my order. I was informed that many things were out of stock. I was told I was unable to order a milkshake, no cup holders or fries. Although that was the main reason, my daughter came and waited. I substituted my meal with onion rings and was charged. This should not have been the case. After finally placing my order, I waited another 22 minutes. Only to pull off and realize my sandwich was cold and cheese not melted. I was unsatisfied with this experience and requested a refund/ I visited this location and noticed that several items on the menu were unavailable each time. For instance last month there were no options for fried food. I'll be awaiting a response. After three calls to corporate I have yet to receive a return the call. So today, Dec. 31, 20212- before the New Year to close-out this headache. I called the store myself and spoke to Buddy, the manager. He took the time to explain his experience-lack of staff, back order of parts for kitchen (electrical issue) and supplies. Two cars in front of me had driven off and she came to my car with the wrong food. I let her know that two cars have driven off and that was not my order and she started cursing. When you finally get to the window you have the pleasure of dealing with employees with bad attitudes and zero customer service skills. I grew up in Texas and LOVE Sonic. However, this is not a Sonic. I think there used to be a Sonic here, but it went out of business, and now only exists as a "Zombie Sonic." My wife and I came here following a Bowie Baysox game because we wanted a sweet treat. We pulled into one of the stalls to order. I was craving a sundae, but found it odd that those were not on the menu, and neither was the "Vanilla Ice Cream Dish" that I KNOW is on the menu at other locations (because that's what my wife wanted). I decided to take a chance and ask the server if they had just a small vanilla dish. They said yes, so we ordered that and a med. Fresh Banana Shake. The total came to $10, which I thought was a little high. When we finally received our "order," it was not what we were expecting. Instead of a small dish of vanilla ice cream, we got a 24oz cup full of ice cream, and instead of a "Fresh Banana Shake," I got some blended vanilla ice cream with a sad piece of banana at the bottom. To top it all off, I had to "enjoy" my shake through a paper straw. Oh, did I also mention that my cup had a crack in it, so it was leaking on me the entire way home. I pulled away and put my hand in the bag to pull out the golden nugget... Tator tot.. What I got was, well a tater tot, but one that was SO GREASY! My fingers were SWIMMING in grease!!!! I took photos and will post them. The amount of oil on them and the look and texture.. they had been cooked and put back in the oil to re-heat them.. THAT IS INEXCUSABLE!! That should NEVER happen! The management should NEVER allow that to happen, and there is no words to describe my disappointment. The burrito I got was ok. I was a little scared to eat that, but I did... About a week later driving back from the eastern shore with my wife, she wanted Sonic for dinner. So stopped here for dinner. I thought, dinner would be much busier and less chance of being served an oil bomb like I got for breakfast... The food we got that time was what is expected. Standard Sonic fare... I am a super chill and understanding customer. I realize customer service is a rough business. I get that fast food especially is not a rewarding job. So i give people the benefit of the doubt as often as i can. Today's visit was a little frustrating, however. When i first arrived, half of the stalls were out of order, but i managed to get one that was working. I press the red button and immediately was greeted with a kind voice ready to take my order. Unfortunately i was ordering a foot long coney, and was told they didn't have foot longs. Oh, okay. So i asked if they had the regular size coneys. The employee said yes. So i had planned to order a few regular size coneys for my husband since they didn't have the footlongs that he wanted. So i order a number 6, which is the regular size premium hot dog. The employee asks which one i want. I told him i want the regular size coney. And then he says they're out of chili. ooooohkay. I didn't realize that. I thought the problem had been with the footlongs, not the chili. I guess it was both. Alright. So i asked the employee if i could our this on hold as i needed to call my husband to see what else he might want. I was told to take my time. Quick phone call to my husband, and less than a minute later i pressed the red button again. About 3-4 minutes had passed with me waiting on a response. Nothing. I look at the stall screen and realize that the "red button activated, we will be with you soon" message had been replaced with "press the red button below to start your order." Well that's weird. I didn't realize those things could time out. So i pressed the button again. I waited 5 minutes this time. No response. I decided to press it one more time, while simultaneously opening the sonic app to see if i could just order this way. No response ever came from the speaker. I placed my order on the app, and finally received it 15 minutes later. Which alllllll of this would have been absolutely fine and understandable if the carhop that came to deliver my order had made any sort of mention of my wait time. I've sat here 30 minutes to order 2 burgers. And that just seems a bit ridiculous to me. Sometimes things are out of your control. Sometimes you're busy or understaffed (which from the outside looking in doesn't seem like the case, but i could be mistaken) but the least you can do is acknowledge the inconvenience to your customers. P.s. they forgot my mozzarella sticks, but I'm not going to try my luck with the red button again. read more

At first we tried ordering at the stalls until we were approached by a working saying it was drive through only. Waiting 10 minutes in line (wasn't that long). Experience wise 2 stars. Gentleman at the drive thru window waved me away, saying they were closed but I let him know I had already placed, and been charged for, a mobile order. He suggested I cancel but I let him know that I wasn't able to cancel on the app. He said he could cancel inside for me and I let him do that because apparently there were no other options.
