Second time having sonic and it was so good it's probably the best fast food out there!

This is probably the best Sonic I've ever been to. The food was great for fast food--definitely better than most locations. The service stood out even more; they brought everything right to me and made sure I had everything I needed. It was quick, convenient, and clean. Id seen this place advertised on tv so much i had to give them a try. And i was very impressed. Such a clean establishment. Staff members were very friendly. The chocolate milk shake was so chocolatly and scrumptios. Just plain delicious. And my hamburger wss served up hot and delicious. My boyfriend and I always use the Tesla charging stations at this sonic but have never actually been to this sonic. That's changed when we were on our way for a sweet treat but the Dairy Queen we went to was closed down. We drove to this sonic which was down the road from where we were staying. Both of us got a sonic blast which we both have never had before. My boyfriend got the cookie dough ice cream blast and I got then Reese's peanut butter one. But it's always worth trying to lighten the day, even if CORNICHON. The very idea of a PICKLERITA SLUSH is what initially caught my attention. The first sips were a delightfully tangy lime. But after a few minutes, I SOURED on the gooey PICKLE BUBBLES, and am still haunted hours later. The PICKLE dusted Tots had a comparatively subtle essence. I love their ice, and their ice cream - but thats about it. Everything else isn't that great. When I drove off, I realized my order was not made right. This Sonic has gone downhill completely. There was green mold on both of my 2 smasher burgers. How do you miss that? The food was also super small, like a kids' meal. I understand shrinkflation, but I did not order a kids' meal, which was the size of my triple smasher burger. The chicken tenders were tough and flavorless. We were starving and Sonic was so convenient. This was my first time here and it was nice. Using the bathroom was easy, unlike many other fast food places. It was clean, unlike many other fast food places..... We pulled into a parking spot and read the menu. We ordered without the stress of someone behind us waiting to order, and we paid easily. A few minutes later, a nice guy delivers our food. I did end up getting out of the car to go get ketchup, which was no big deal. Price wise, I'd say it's in line with other fast food places, and a bit nicer. read more

My husband and I pulled in just before closing, however, we thought we could still order at the drive-up. We quickly looked at the menu and decided what we wanted, we went to order and we were told the drive-up was closed and to place our order at the drive-thru. The drive-thru experience was not a good experience. The young lady who took our order had quite an unfriendly demeanor and rushed us through our order. Our food was cold and of poor taste, very disappointing. We ordered the tots with chili, chicken tenders, burger, everything just wasn't fresh and hot. More than likely, this will be our last visit to a Sonic. Definitely won't return to this location. read more

This is me very first time going to a sonic drive in after watching all those commercials onTV. Admittedly their menu is incredibly extensive and it took me a while to decide which items to purchase. Finally I decided on two chilli cheese dogs and a side order of tater tots. The food was ok and tasted like Der Weiner Schnitzel. However the tot were great. This evening at about 7:10 I went to Sonic drive-thru to order some Hot fudge sundaes. The young kid at speaker tells me they Don have "Ice Cream" for Sundaes!! So I said ok then, I'll order two medium size shakes. I was only customer at drive-thru, and it took him like 5 minutes to charge me. Then he about to give me two SMALL shakes, and I told him u ordered medium not small. Then he tells me - We have no ice cream and goes back and took him another while to get me the exact size shakes I had ordered!! It was just a bad experience and shakes didn't taste as I thought they should've. I wasn't pleased at all. Then I told him - There's a Sonic "sign" in speaker saying - 1/2 price shakes after 7. We experienced good and quick service here for the tasty ice cream dessert (oreo cookie dough blast with reese's pb cups added in). When I tried to order this online it said it wasn't available at this location so I just ordered the oreo with pb cups -- and lo and behold when I took a bite it was the oreo cookie dough blast I had seen on tv (and what got me out here in the first place!) This location is the closest one to the airport so if you need a sweet treat when you land, I recommend a quick trip to Sonic! It's not a new location and the credit card reader at the drive up station we went to wasn't working. The girl who came and took our card rolled inside and back within a couple of minutes so it wasn't a big deal but they probably need to keep those machines tuned up. read more

My son and I came last night. For it to be a holiday weekend, it was empty. But service was quick! Our food came out hot and fresh. We ordered the chicken slingers ( spicy and plain) , a hot fudge shake, banana shake, and fries. The car hop added extra condiments which is always a plus! I didn't expect that since asking for condiments at some places is like asking for a kidney LOL!! But anyways, the shakes, I ordered no whip cream and that's what I recieved. They actually pay attention to special requests. The wait wasn't long either. I want to say from ordering to recieving the order it took maybe 5 mins. My son really enjoyed the slinger , fries and shake. He had the banana shake. In his words ' good' with a thumbs up. I had the spicy slinger, and I do agree with others, it's not spicy. But still was delicious! The hot fudge shake, you could taste the fudge. It wasn't too watery or too thick. The banana shake tasted exactly like bananas and there where graham cracker bits in it too. The shakes didn't have a nasty artificial after taste. I would definately go back for more. read more

We actually almost did not try this location today based on the reviews. Ignore the low reviews though, not sure of others experiences, but ours was great. I am not sure the reviews are being fare to this location. This was our first visit to Sonic ever after seeing commercials forever. It was fun going to a drive up again, I remember going to A&W's as a kid with roller skating carhops. The food is fast food of course, so was not looking for health food, more comfort food and experience. We had corn dogs, a cheeseburger and a Chicago dog, with Tots of course. Everything was tasty, just good American fast food. We also had a Green Apple Slushy and Blue Coconut Slushy with Nerds, what a combo, never thought Nerds would be good in a slushy, but it was sooo good! Ordering and paying was very easy from the car. approx. $25 for four of us with the Slushies, not too bad. The service was very fast and accurate. We had two carhops, Jess and Sierra, both very nice and helpful. Brought our food, then our Slushies after and a refill before we left. Great experience. I would recommend and would return. Never come here but today decided to try them. I ordered two slushies on the app for pick up. Suppose to be faster right? So why did I end up sitting waiting in my car for them to bring out my order for 20 minutes!!!! When I first arrived someone greeted me through the speaker box and told me they'd bring out my order. 10 minutes go by so I push the button again. Why did I get the greeting again. I have never consumed a thing outside of the Blasts I think they are called. Snickers , cookie dough, anddd Oreo flavored Always tasty. The customer service is iffy at times but I am not here for the customer service. I am here for the ice creammm People often drive through the parking lock unnaturally fast. I hate this sonic so much. First off, when we arrived to the parking stations we clicked the order button and the employee was quick to say.. we're closed but drive thru is open... that fine. All we ordered was a small milk shake and small slush. But after we pulled up to the drive thru, we drove around and parked in the same station we were at. BUT get this... two more cars pull up and even a group that decided to eat outside came- and the SONIC employees took all their orders and even dropped their food off on skates. SMH this isn't even the worse part. When i got home i looked at my shake and saw a PUBIC HAIR in my shake. The shake was a strawberry classic and i already had noticed that the strawberry still had stem and leaves mixed throughout the shake but damn. this is disgusting. I threw UP when i saw . We went through the drive-through and brought our food home we live very close to the restaurant and our food was cold the hamburgers were not even hot so obviously they were not prepared fresh. As one of the girls began to eat she bit into her hamburger and felt some thing crunchy and lo and behold it was a broken finger nail with the skin still on it. This tells me that people are preparing food without wearing gloves. If you have long fingernails you must wear gloves. I would never go to this restaurant again. After speaking to management it was not a concern to them. Corporate still has not return my phone call in three days. They offered me coupons for free hamburgers with purchase. Sonic is one of my favorite fast food chains. We stopped at the Cathedral City location on our way home. First, it took forever to get our food. Second, our two kids burgers were wrong and all four of our cheese fries were without cheese. The car hop was nice enough to give up free ice creams for the inconvenience which we appreciated. Unfortunately, our family ended up staying way longer than expected. They need help getting it together. read more
