I've been to quite a few Cheesecake Factory locations, but the Rancho Mirage location always stands out. The service is consistently amazing, everyone is friendly, attentive, and our food came out quickly. It made for such an enjoyable meal from start to finish. Thai Lettuce Wraps: absolute 10/10. They were unbelievably fresh, packed with flavor, and honestly just wow. Every ingredient tasted crisp, and the sauces tied everything together perfectly. I thought ordering three wraps wouldn't be enough, but they were surprisingly filling! If you order five, you'll probably have leftovers. Fresh Tomato Basil Pasta with Chicken: is one of those dishes I can never pass up because it's always consistently delicious. The tomato basil sauce is light, fresh, and flavorful, and the chicken was incredibly juicy and cooked perfectly. It's one of my favorite pasta dishes anywhere. 10/10 Macaroni & Cheese Balls: They aren't my absolute favorite appetizer simply because they're so rich and heavy, but somehow I order them every single visit anyway loll! Went here on a Wednesday afternoon for Lunch and thankfully it wasn't too busy, we were greeted and seated immediately. I'm used to seeing Cheesecake Factory fully packed during Dinner time, but this was a nice quiet and calm change of pace. Our waitress was very kind and attentive, ensuring our drinks were always full and answering any questions we had about the food! We ordered the Beet and Avocado Salad, Fried Calamari (which in my opinion is still the best compared to anywhere else I've ever had Fried Calamari, and they got even better!), Grilled Steak Medallions, and Evelyn's Favorite Pasta. All the dishes were delicious, however, the stringy/fibrous parts of the asparagus was included in the pasta which we had to remove, and the steak medallions were cooked a little more rare than medium rare (which was what I requested), even then so, we still scarfed them down! Beautiful location on the water! The atmosphere was great and the hostess was very kind and got us seated quickly. Once we sat down, our server came over to take our order. We started with the fried mac and cheese as an appetizer, and they were so good. As a picky eater, I was hesitant to try them, but they were just as good as they looked. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo along with a strawberry lemonade with no ice since I personally don't like ice in my drinks. My lemonade arrived with no ice, but it wasn't filled all the way to the top, which I thought was odd since that has never happened at other Cheesecake Factory locations. Wasn't a big deal, but just something I noticed. When our food arrived, our server immediately started adding parmesan cheese to my pasta before asking if I wanted any. I don't like parmesan and never asked for it, so I let him know I didn't want any. He apologized and then proceeded to sprinkle parmesan onto my friend's pasta after asking her if she wanted some. Made an 8pm reservation time, checked in at 7:30. The hostess called our name by something similar, was a little rude when we tried to correct her, she told us it wasn't ours, nobody claimed that table and they wound up giving it to us. As soon as we sat down, our waitress came over to take our drink orders and let us know a lot of menu items were unavailable because they were busier than they had expected. Ordered the Thai noodles with shrimp, which were really good. Also ordered the buffalo blasts and fried cheese sticks. She came back saying they couldn't do fried cheese anymore and brought us half a plate of buffalo blasts. They wound up comping the buffalo blasts and we got the avocado egg rolls, which were okay. Cheesecake Factory is a good option when dining with a group of people. There were ten of us so we had to wait about thirty minutes for a table. The hostess was very nice and friendly. Our waiter also very friendly and attentive to us all. Chicken Romano was so good I'll order it again for sure. We all love avocado egg rolls so it's a must. My son loved his chicken sandwich, I enjoyed the Chinese chicken salad like always. The food is pretty consistent at all cheesecake restaurants. I have been to this location a few times when vacationing in the area but never wrote a review til this time. We stopped here for a light supper with a friend on a Saturday evening The hostess greeted us warmly. She told us that the wait for a table (at 8:30 pm) but we'll could be seated immediately on the patio. The table under the desert stars, with heaters, was very nice. My supper included the Meatball Sliders (4/5 $9.95) from the Bites menu, an Old Fashioned (5/5), and a slice of Low-Licious Cheesecake with Strawberries (3/5 $12.50). The Sliders were housemade meatballs with vodka sauce, melted mozzarella and parmesan cheese on a toasted roll. The Cheescake was disappointing with an artificial sweetener aftertaste. Table service (2/5) was slow and inattentive. Bread and butter was delivered to the table ... twice ... with no utensils to spread the butter! Half of our orders never came. We got there around 8:30pm and the place was pretty empty. The bar was empty, the patio was empty, and the restaurant was maybe a quarter full at best. Still, we were told it would be a 10 minute wait to be seated, which already felt a bit off. We ordered pasta, including the Louisiana pasta, and specifically asked for extra sauce on the side. When the food came out, the pasta was noticeably dry. We asked again for the extra sauce, and our waiter admitted he forgot to put it in. He mentioned their sauces are made fresh, but then did not check back in with us at all, which explains the empty water glasses that never got refilled. When he finally came back, he told us they had actually run out of the sauce for the Louisiana pasta. So we asked if that is why the dish was dry, and he said probably. No apology, no attempt to fix it, and no solution offered. Overall, a disappointing experience, especially when there were two staff members refilling salt and pepper shakers while our water glasses sat empty. Love the ambience at the Cheesecake Factory! It really has something for everyone! We sat on a nice bench in the waiting area and watched several happy groups meet up for dinner on Saturday night. Families, couples, students and co-workers all pleased at a night out! This visit I joined the Cheesecake Factory Rewards Club and was able to make a reservation. This cut our wait time down to about ten minutes! We were shown to our booth table by friendly staff and Alex, our waiter appeared immediately with menus and bread and butter! I studied the online menu while we waited and noticed lots of new tasting items that look great for a casual meal! We perused the menu briefly while I sipped some very decent Sauvignon Blanc. We already knew that we were ordering our favorites, Chicken Piccata for my husband and Shrimp with Garlic for me! I love the odd Neo-Egyptian decor with huge lotus pillars and leaves. The lights and booths make for a fun dining experience! We enjoyed our tasty selections and the relaxed and celebratory atmosphere! The piece de resistance was (of course) cheesecake and this time we selected the Dulce de Leche cake with caramel. Best yet and I can't wait to continue my journey through all the flavors! read more

Another wonderful experience at TCF. Daniel, our server, was exceptional. I must credit the TCF management and trainers because we really do enjoy and look forward to coming here, specifically for the wonderful service, attitudes and attentiveness. Of course we had to have our usual tuna and shrimp ceviche. Unlike the Brea location, this one is consistently good. Kudos to the chefs here! My wife tried the chicken piccatta, one of her favs and usual go-to's whenever it's on the menu, and I tried the new carnitas bowl. My son got the spaghetti and meatballs and my other boys got their usual cheese flatbread pizzas. The piccatta was oh so good. While not the best we've had, it really ranked up there. The carnitas bowl was a feast for the eyes, but it wasn't my favorite and Daniel could see it on my face. He quickly took action and worked with his manager to make it right and I substituted the chicken piccatta, dinner size mind you, for the carnitas. The spaghetti and meatballs were also very good. Not just TCF good, but Italian restaurant good. My son said that this will be his regular dish. Our brunch could not be complete without the requesite cheesecake, so we opted for the vanilla bean. OMG! We should have ordered a whole pie! After a long day at Universal Studios Hollywood and a long drive home to RM the day before, this late brunch was exactly what we needed (along with a few cocktails;) ). Always love the ambience at Cheesecake Factory. It's calm and the lights are lower to help you relax. We had to wait 10 mins to sit but we didn't mind. We looked at all the cheesecake we could order before we sat and the guy behind the counter told us about them and what his favorites were. Very nice guy. When we got seated our waiter brought us waters and bread and then came back to take our drink order and food order. We got the coconut limeade (his recommendation) and the pineapple cherry limeade. They were delicious. We ordered pretzel bites, pot stickers, cucumber salad, flat bread pizza, Mac and cheese and Korean crispy chicken. Everything was delicious, we ate it all up. We took our cheesecake to go and we got peach cheesecake with berry drizzle, Hershey cheesecake and banana cream cheesecake. They were all fabulous and we are so happy we came to get dinner. Bar area for happy hour. A big disappointment overall. No happy hour menús on table. Looked up menu online. No silverware or plates after food served. Asked manager and these were provided shortly there after. Food: Sliders and potstickers were ok, passable. Brussel sprouts was a pile of dry bitter leaves. No indication of sweetness or sauce as described on menu. Not one Brussel sprout found in the pile. We did get a replacement that was barely better. Well, desserts have to be good, right? Wrong. Ordered Apple crisp. Poor presentation. A pile of diced apples in an overly sweet sugary sauce with bits of crispy something. A separate metal cup nestled a tiny scoop of ice cream. I can't think of anyone who would just eat the apple concoction without te ice cream. More ice cream was definitely needed or- improve the apple crisp. So, this meal cost over $48. I got the grilled steak medallions and let me just say, though the portion looks like it is kind of small it is super filling. I would have to say probably one of my favorite things on the menu. It has so much flavor and it just the perfect amount. We sat at the bar so the service was great there and since it was lunchtime, it was not too busy. The worst customer service and experience we've had at a Cheesecake Factory. 2 out of 4 orders come out incorrectly and take almost 30 minutes to come back to our table. My son ordered hamburger sliders with no cheese and of course they are smothered with cheese. I order carne asada medium temp and received 5 pieces of 1 ounce steak bites CHARRED. As the manager came over and I showed her my entree she responds with " it's the correct amount of meat" I asked "is it always cooked like this? " she grabs my plate and asks how did I say I wanted my steak cooked. I said I wanted medium and she just walks away. I'm sorry am I bothering you at work?! We went for a nice dinner for 12th year anniversary with our kids and I almost walked out mid dinner. We ordered 2 deserts and I asked the waitress to add some candles on the desert and wrote out happy anniversary. Her first question was if I was going to order any other deserts and if the kids have special requests. Ummm what?!? And nothing was comped either. Not really expecting it but from past experience with these situations they try to make up for something they made a mistake on. Honestly very disappointed in this location. We're from Los Angeles and were in town for a one day work trip when we came here for dinner. We had our service dog with us. When I checked in and said, "Table for 3 and a service dog," the hostess asked for documentation. I explained that we were from out of town and did not have the paperwork with us. She told us, "If you want to eat here, you need physical documentation," and denied us service. This was handled completely wrong. Staff should be trained on ADA requirements and how to properly address guests with service animals. Demanding physical documentation and refusing service over it is a serious issue. The Cheesecake Factory is one of those places where you're almost always guaranteed a good meal. The menu is massive, the food is consistently solid, and the service is reliably good. The restaurant is always clean--spotless, really--even when it's packed, which it almost always is. That said, nothing here truly stands out as exceptional. Much of the food feels commissary-prepared, and while it's done well, you can tell. The pastas, in particular, are pre-cooked and reheated, which is why I avoid ordering them. They're fine, just not worth the price. Speaking of price, the food is definitely on the expensive side. You do get a dependable meal, but the value has started to slip. The cheesecake slices are noticeably smaller than they used to be, and prices have gone up again. I understand the realities--huge mall locations, high rent, labor costs--but it still adds up for the customer. Overall, The Cheesecake Factory remains a safe, dependable choice: good food, good service, clean environment. Dave loved his Fish and Chips. We both enjoyed our dinners for second meals the next day. The food star was the cheesecake of course. We get the mango key lime every time and we have never regretted it. We went on a Saturday night to celebrate the anniversary of the day we met. We go every year. We love it. It was packed but I understand they will take reservations if you plan ahead. We had a very short wait time. Very nice inside but super dark which made it hard to get good photos. I hadn't been to a Cheesecake factory in forever. Still have a big menu and big portions, which isn't my thing. I ended up getting the cajun salmon, still have the buttery sauce below it. I got asparagus and brocolli with it to help make it pseudo healthy. The salmon was dry which was a slight bummer, but I blame that on, I shoulda known better than order fish at cheesecake factory, shrimp yes, but fish hmm. They still have the awesome warm bread, love the pumpernickel which I almost get nowhere else. Kid didn't love his spicy pasta either. We love the Cheesecake Factory and this one is no exception. The reason for the poor review is handicap accessibility. I'm surprised that in a region known for its huge retirement population that better access wasn't thought out. The restaurant is a very long walk from the car for my mom, who uses a walker and moves slowly. Given the heat in the area, we only have visited once or twice because of how difficult it is to get her all of the way into the restaurant. There is a ramp to the restaurant itself, but even that is a long walk when added to the trek just to get there. For anyone going with someone who has a hard time moving around, I do not recommend unfortunately. Otherwise we'd be visiting all of the time. Shame on the mall and restaurant for not considering this difficulty in the planning stages. read more

We have lived in this valley since 2011 and we finally decided to enjoy a meal here. The wait time for a table was minimal after our arrival. I did feel a little confined by the "cubicle" type booth where we were seated. There was a large party next to us with two small boys scurrying about. A little zany for me, as the parents didn't have a care in the world. At one point, allowing the boys to walk all over the cushions where people sit. (Deplorable) If one were to fall? We decided on two Cuban sandwiches, a Chicken Parmesan sandwich and an OG Cheeseburger. All of them came with fries. The food was plentiful and delicious, take home boxes were required. The only "scratch my head" moment was realizing that they charged $6.50 for lemonades and $4.95 for a Sprite. We did not ask for refills. Jesus A was our server and he was engaging, attentive and invested. You could tell that he was having a good time serving the patrons. He even offered to bag our remnants for us. Within this time we asked for a bread refill 4 times and even that took a very long time. After waiting an obnoxious amount of time I finally ask how much longer will our food take and the server said they would check. 10 minutes later our food came... COLD!!!! The restaurant was busy for midafternoon but it is in a mall area that had good business. The appetizer was a most delicious quesadilla. It took over 20 mins to place our order after being seated, 35 mins to receive any food, and another 30 mins to pack leftovers and pay. No exaggeration... Eventually, we had to get up and find someone since no one came. In total, we sat for 2.5 HOURS! Such a waste of time I've never seen a restaurant take our food to pack themselves in the back, especially since everything was extremely slow already. This just added an extra 2 trips for them. It'd be totally fine to just get the boxes ourselves! The restaurant was pretty empty. Many staff members were idling around and purposefully avoiding eye contact. I have been to many Cheesecake Factory restaurants over the years and have never been disappointed. They are very popular, so expect to wait 15 to 30 minutes. The hostess is good about giving updates on your wait time and there is ample seating in the lobby for your comfort. I always eye the desserts in the display case while I am waiting. This helps narrow down my choices and I can "see" if there is anything new or different to try. The hard part is choosing your meal, the menu is literally a book! I try to have a light meal so I can save room for pie. It's not easy because they serve generous portions! Start with a appetizer, soup or salad or go straight to the sandwiches, burgers or entree. This restaurant is a frequent choice when meeting family or friends. They decor and lighting is beautiful and the booths are very comfortable. You will not be disappointed. Absolutely horrible experience. We waited over an hour just to be seated and were placed outside at a table that wasn't even set up. After finally ordering, we waited another hour for our food. When it finally arrived, it was cold. When we told the staff, they offered to remake it but it was already after 9pm and we had already been sitting there for hours. Waiting again was ridiculous at that point. The worst part is we were there celebrating my son's birthday. Christopher was our waiter tonight. He did an amazing job serving us. We ordered the fried zucchini and asparagus appetizers to begin with. We were amazed at the portion of asparagus that we got. It also came with the most wonderful lemon ricotta dipping sauce! My daughter & I shared the Miso salmon. That's one of my all-time favorites here at The Cheesecake Factory. And our cousin, Darrel had the spicy Asian noodles that he really liked. Of course they served their famous squaw bread that I can't resist.
