If I could give minus zero stars I would the person who took our order was very nice and pleasant. But the Navajo server I can say that because I'm Navajo so so rude she made it seem like we were trying to get a free drink but she shorted us a drink. When I tried to let her know she cut me short and said " all we did was communicate YOU PEOPLE". When she did give me the MISSING drink she made it known she was not charging me. Like wait a min I paid for it, you're not giving me anything free. The drink was not even made right so my sister went back to pay for another drink when she handed me the drink she demanded for me to taste the drink before I left I took the drink and told her " I hope you day gets better" she was so upset I said that she yelled at me "WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT!!" We were on a road trip. We each got milkshakes and grilled cheese. By the time we were nearing home, we nearly shit our pants and well into the next day we were glued to the toilet. I don't know what it is about Sonic. Every time I go there well their food is still frozen inside and cold or soggy. In this particular case the only item that I ordered outside of a drink was onion rings. They were pretty much a promotion and soggy. I can't speak to the interior of the establishment as they don't really have a dining room. It's all drive up. The service was courteous and quick, however I think that was that expense of cooking time. As far as I could see, there were only two other cars in the parking lot. They could not have been in a rush to need the fryer be emptied quickly. The replacement set of onion rings was a bit better. read more

What is going on at this location? Everyone I order a cherry limeade it's so sugary with minimal sprite in it. I tossed this entire cup the other day because o couldn't stomach the taste of all that sugar sweetener syrup stuff. It was pure cherry flavor. There was no lime taste, and the sprite didn't burn with the fizz that makes this drink so good. The soda was sooooo watered down, and it was literally like drinking a cough syrup that was pure sugar. That's the best way to describe it. I even asked for light ice and they loaded the ice. They cannot follow very simple instructions. When I ask for extra whole cherries and pay for them, I still only end up with 2. I really wish they could get better training with the drinks, that's their best sellers there. My family likes the food, but it takes forever to get food. They went for corn dogs one day and it took nearly 17 minutes. I get it that it's a popular place, but they've got to work on getting food out a little faster. It's called fast food for a reason. Anyways, the location is very good to NAU, and easy to get to. That's about the best part. The boards are usually out of service too, which is frustrating. DO NOT GO HERE. We ordered off of door dash and our dasher had to wait AN HOUR for our food to be ready. We ordered a foot long coney and it came with no chilli?!? The hot dog was burnt, completely unappetizing. We had the chicken ranch and southwest wraps and both had just a little nugget of chicken. If I were you I would listen to the reviews. The service at this location is terrible I pulled up ordered two hot dogs they told me it would be about 10 minutes I said that was fine I sat outside for 42 minutes and never received my food , I could see four people inside there was only four customers waiting outside people who pulled up after me got their food before me and the two managers were sitting at a table out front talking to an individual I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody the service is terrible and the staff clearly is more interested in playing grab but then taking care of customers read more

I was overcharged by about $17 on my card - my card shows each charge. I confirmed it with the receipt when it came and was told they'd need the receipt to refund my card the $17 & change charged on my card that shouldn't have been. Chicken burger was cooked bone dry. It was mostly just dried breaded crust with a thin layer of cardboard inside that was imitating a piece of chicken. The chicken strips were also a bit dried out. Tasted like the chicken you get at a gas station that's been sitting and drying out in the warmer all day. my sonic experience was subpar, mediocre at best. The popcorn chicken is delightful the grease of the burgies reaches your heart in a somewhat delightful way. I like it, but not that much :/ the mozzarella sticks are perfect as usual, such beauties. The grilled was okay, a little bit soggy and soft but what can you do. I went to the Sonic on Fourth St. Drove in with a couple of cars soon after. I pushed the call button and waited to place my order. I waited and waited and waited. The two cars that came behind left and I waited a little longer. Nothing!!! Did finally leave. No service to even talk about. Will I come back? NO!!! If you can't even say wait a minute why would I consider coming back. I wanted to eat in my car so went to the other sonic and got prompt service. I ordered a coke zero make it dirty and the employee replied with "if you're type 1 diabetic, you know making it dirty adds a crap ton of sugar?" I believe this is very unprofessional, especially since the first round of drinks weren't marked n they couldn't tell us the difference. Where's Sonic service I've ever had. I was really looking forward to eating a Sonic since I haven't had one for a long long time they used to have them in California however several of them have shut down. I'm driving to Alabama from California and stopped in Arizona out of Sonic specifically. I pulled into this one and got a premium beef hot dog which was great and then some I guess Sonic tots or what they called. When the Sonic talk came they were barely lukewarm. So I press the button to get some more they apologize and said they'd get me some more. I missed you getting hot ones from Jack's. So I'm waiting and waiting and waiting. So I press the button again and it's blinking and blinking so I finally got frustrated and drove up to the front. The lady sees me at the door comes up and says how can I help him I said I want some hot fries these are a little warm she looks at me and says are you going to wait here and I said yeah you guys forgot about me you said you were going to give me some. She apologized got me some fries apparently they were fresh they're only a little bit warmer than the ones I first got! I don't even think they put a fresh batch down! I was going to order another Burger and some beef patties for my dog but forget that! I'll either hit McDonald's or Carl's or anywhere else but sound like at least in Arizona you're off my list. Superrr disappointed today with our order! I cannot understand how someone who now gets $15.00/hr. can sccrew up an order so bad that they almost kill me. I ordered a #3 with no onions & a large order of tots. I took one bite and I got a full mouth of onions and had to spit it out, when I tried the tots it taste like either they need to change the oil or when they did change the oil they did not clean the bottom. A #3 is supposed to be a Bacon Double Cheese Burger and what I got was a Supersonic Double Cheese Burger. Really nice drive-in burger joint. Fast service and I like the ordering system. But I feel like they could add a touch screen ordering option. Had the sonic double cheeseburger with tots. Pretty good burger, tots tasted like hash browns. Overall a good place to go when hungry and craving a fast food burger. I've been going to this Sonic for a long time but today I want to leave a review because I felt the manager went above and beyond in helping me with a slight payment error over the app. The food is always hot and fresh, and the happy hour drinks are such great deal...and it's one of the few places in town you can get a milkshake after 10pm :-). Also the app usually works great and has lots of deals so despite the error today it's normally worth it. I recommend this Sonic to everybody. read more

Arrived to the establishment at 8pm, was hoping to grab two quick drinks. Instead, it turned out to be a 45 minute wait as they claimed they were short staffed but one of the teenager workers was hanging out in a friends car in the parking lot. I hit the button multiple times to ask for updates but one of the employees had no understanding of what I was talking about, instead when asked if the drinks were closed to being done, she responded with "probably. Finally, at 8:45 I rang the button one more time and got back a "was this pre-paid" followed by an "oh my god i'm so sorry." They the two small drinks out but the drinks were melted because they were sitting on the counter for nearly an hour. There is a large sign on the side of the building that has $2 crave items. I ordered the $2 burger, but the screen showed $2.29. I know it's only .29 cents, but it's my .29 cents, and I'm not in the habit of giving away money. When I asked the lady on the speaker why it was showing $2.29, she said it was tax. I wasn't in the mood to argue. I also ordered a large natural lemonade with strawberry. What I got was a greasy $2.29 horrible burger and a large drink packed with ice, strawberry all over the side of the cup with absolutely no taste of lemonade. This is the 2nd time I've given this Sonic a chance, and this is the second time it was horrible. Save your time and money. Go elsewhere. read more
