I ordered a sauced jumbo combo and was given this disappointment. Not only is there barely any sauce on my dry chicken nuggets but as you can see on my receipt, it's also the wrong sauce. Honestly I would give 0 stars if I could and that breaks my heart bc I love Sonic. But my friends and I came to this location about an hour ago and right off the bat had to wait for about an hour total but it was extremely backed up so we didn't mind. What really got us was the fact that the guy that brought us our food tried to pocket our money and charge everything to my boyfriend's card. We had two separate orders (one we were paying with cash) and he decided to pocket the cash and charge both orders to the card. Once we confronted him about it he had the audacity to lie and ask us how much change he owed us. We got the $10 back eventually but fair warning to anyone who eats there, if you see a tall, white male, with dirty blonde hair and a grey state forty eight shirt, I'd make sure you check to see if you get the correct amount of change back. read more

This review is not for the crew that works for this location. It is for their upper management. Everytime I have been here withon the last 2 weeks, I have waited 20 minutes minimum for food. The workers are always worried about the waits and are very apologetic. From a previous food service workers perspective: all of the food handlers and runners and working there hardest. My husband and I went to sonic and ordered our food at 9:15 pm. We got our food at 9:45 pm. They're short staffed, I get it. We didn't complain and went on our way. I have always loved sonic and it is tied significantly to my childhood. However this location is struggling quite a bit. This is in a college location, so I understand the retention rate for employees is probably struggling a lot and I don't mind waiting a bit, but even if you order through the app to have it prepared by a certain time they will make you wait 30+ minutes past that time and on busy nights I have waited up to an hour. On top of that for the past year this location has significantly struggled with hiring and keeping people, so they often go through phases where they will give you the wrong order every time for a couple months, and now they are in a phase where they will get you the right order but you will have to wait a long time. However this is just because the food runners are backed up. My food is almost always cold, and the slushees are almost always melted. In the attached picture roughly the bottom 1/3 is completely liquid. When we asked the runner she claimed it was the machine that was causing it to be too runny. If this is true they have faulty machinery that hasn't been replaced in months if not a year, or the employee is lying to avoid taking a couple minutes on a slow night (literally 2 cars total including us at the time) to remake the slushee. Really disappointing since I love this restaurant so much. If you have the option choose the restaurant just a different location. read more

First off this is the worst sonic I have ever been to. Second I pulled up into the sonic parking lot and order 15 minutes prior to closing. I ordered a medium fry but when the woman working served me the fries she gave me seemed as though they weren't even sitting under the heater. They were harder than a rock and barely chewable. DISGUSTING. I then pushed the button complaining that this was unacceptable and I would like a new order of fries. The worker gave me an attitude and when she came out the fries were hot and right out of the fryer. Exactly the way it SHOULD BE. Sorry that I work in fast food and know what "fresh" fries are. Even 15 Minutes prior to closing I would serve fresh fries to every customer that came in. Delight every customer. I don't want to be served cold fries, who does?? I have been going to the Sonic on Butler Ave for 4 years and have NEVER had the experiences I've had today. The 'Manager' was the rudest person I've ever came across. I was in such complete disbelief of the things being said to me, I took my phone out and recorded our conversation. After I informed her I had recorded everything she acted like she was going to take my phone and threatened to call the police.
