    Tater Tots
    Cynthia Z.

I'm typing this review with shaking fingers: when I pulled up into the drive-through lane, I caught a glimpse of a worker walking to someone's car to serve them their meal -- that's right, WALKING. I thought Sonic's whole thing was, "Guys, look at the employees rollerblading around the parking lot with your food." I'm just so sick and tired of constantly being lied to. It is with a heavy heart I must deduct a star from my review for this very reason. The food was actually pretty good (by fast food standards, of course) and managed to overshadow the bitter flavor of being deceived by someone I thought I could trust. I'm a fan of the dawg (that's what us hot dog fanatics call hot dogs, by the way) and I was pleasantly surprised by Sonic's. The tater tots were also really good, which is saying A LOT because it's been like at least eight years since I've had a solid tot that didn't have a lingering taste of freezer burn.

I had a Butterfinger Sonic Blast which consisted of vanilla ice cream with Butterfinger pieces. There could have been more Butterfinger pieces present been blended better. The same thoughts applied as my previous review.

    Chili Cheese Tots

The food is good for a snack but not all of it is good. As you see in the photo, the tater tots were not made nice and tasted pretty bad. Also, most of the time the service is fairly good but sometimes it isn't. I completely understand that people have good and bad days and having to deal with some annoying customers can put anyone in a mood, but don't take it out on other people who just want their food. Moving on, the ambiance is alright but most of the drive in spots are broken and the drive through machine isn't good at all. There has to be some money in the budget to get a better one so the person can hear what the customer is ordering without having to yell. Also, there are plenty of Deaf/Hard of hearing people in the area so it would be helpful to make it easier for everyone if they got a box that worked properly. All in all, the food for the most part is good, the staff is usually pretty friendly and the area is easy to get in and out of.

This sonic needs to update their hours. They say they close at 9 but always close at least a half hour early. It's ridiculous

Don't mind if I do!…read more When I first heard that my beloved Beer Shoppe (https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-beer-shoppe-ardmore) was closing towards the end of 2020, it was another horrible thing to chalk up to that terrible, horrible, no good, very bad year! But unlike other things from that time period, this one didn't end up being as much of a big loss, because I learned that a new beer distributor would be opening up just few doors down, and when it did I learned that it maintained a lot of the same awesome staff and quite possibly an even better beer selection. As a distributor, it doesn't have amenities like the food and whiskey bar that the Beer Shoppe had. But it does give you the ability to grab beer to go by the case, twelve-pack, six-pack, four-pack, and even as singles. You can even fill your growler with their selection of drafts, or take home an alcoholic slushie. LMB isn't the biggest distributor I've been to by any stretch, but they make do with their space to bring in enough things to keep any level of beer nerd satisfied. You can take home a case of Corona or the lite stuff for your casual beer drinking uncle, load up on local brewers like New Trail and Twisted Gingers, imported brewers like Unibroue and all those Belgians, plenty of seasonal brews with it currently be the dark wintery season, and a lot of harder to find beers.

It beats every beer store in NJ for 1 reason... selection. These guys somehow consistently get the rarest beers year after year. I'm talking Founders KBS, Firestone Walker Velvet Merkin, Goose Island Bourbon County Coffee Stout, etc. They have been into the craft beer scene since the beginning of craft beer and thus have special relationships with the distributors. As for the store, it's small, super tight, super packed, and not for the claustrophobic. There are aisles upon aisles of beer, refrigerated beers line the back wall, the side wall has cases of beer stacked on top of each other, in the back there are a selection of rotating taps of draught beer to fill your growlers. The guys are really knowledgeable and friendly. Tell them what style you like and they'll give you suggestions. When super rare beers come in, to be fair and give everyone a chance, they hold lotteries, with the winners getting the right to buy a bottle of the particular beer. So if you live in northern jersey, it's definitely worth the hike to hit up this store. You won't be disappointed.
