Before we got our order she brought extra napkins. We always need extra napkins. We ordered our meals, large chips and salsa, a burger with fries and a Santa Fe Chicken Salad. Chips and salsa always hit the spot. The burger and fries had good flavor. The chicken had good flavor, too. Salad had romaine, pico, guac, tortilla strips and dressing. I love this location! It's so easy to get to right off of Route 1 and there's plenty of parking. I almost always come on a weeknight after work and even though this is right next to Trader Joe's there's always parking spots. I went with a friend on a Tuesday night and it was very busy. It took about 10 mins for us to get a table which wasn't too bad. When we were seated our waitress was super attentive and kept checking in on us. This location is always very clean and not super loud or rowdy. I always see families with kids so it's definitely family-friendly. We both ordered the triple dipper with Big Mouth Bites, Mozzarella sticks, and Chicken Crispers. Everything came out hot and fast. We also got chips and salsa which were delicious as usual. We got a box to take our leftovers home and I was surprised to see that our waitress gave us some extra fresh chips! It was so nice to have especially to eat for lunch the next day. 1000% will be back. Great food for a reasonable price and I've never had bad service here. read more

The 3 for me deal is pretty good (drink, starter, and entree for $16.99, $14.99, or $10.99 depending on which entree you want). We got the 6 oz sirloin and cajun shrimp pasta. The steak (medium rare) was very juicy and tasted really good, with a nice chewy texture. Loaded mashed potatoes were also good. However, the broccoli weirdly enough makes your mouth dry up. The pasta dish was rather skimpy on the shrimp in my opinion, not worth the price even with the 3 for me deal. The pasta itself had a glue-y texture. The sauce was creamy and there was a lot of it. The garlic toast tasted like buttery toast- sadly no garlic flavor. Overall, the taste is what you expect from that of any generic chain American restaurant. The waitresses were super nice and the food was brought out after a moderate amount of time. Then an employee at another Chilis across the country accosted a Black vet on Veterans Day accusing him of "stealing" his free food and the employee was only moved rather than fired so we boycotted for like 5 years after. I tried them again last year for pickup and the overall experience is like a complete 180. The restaurant was remodeled and is now open and airy. I don't feel like my father's ghost is hanging around, and service is much improved. Food is super fresh, the curbside is perfect, and UberEats is delivered hot and well packaged every time. Time changes things I suppose. Fat tings: bar area seating is metal chairs so settle in with confidence. I can't stand a wooden bar stool. read more

Went there last night. Our server was amazing, thank you Ariana! The reason for only 1 star is because of the food and the kitchen staff. I needed to ask for my salad to be made a certain way, she repeated what I needed taken off, but the kitchen staff totally blew it. I then had to wait for a second salad, while my family ate without me. Ariana felt bad, but I kept reminding her it wasn't her fault! My husband's sirloin was grisly and undercooked as well. He didn't have it sent back but he should have. And what's up with Chili's now adding jalapeno's to their guacamole? She warned us it would be spicy, so no guac for us! Very disappointing. I absolutely loved February's drink, which was called The Grand Romance, it was made with Pomegranate, Tequila & Grand Marnier. March drink on the other hand was way too strong for my pallet, I guess I'm turning into a lightweight; it was called The Lucky Jameson, which consisted of Jameson, Tequila & Triple Sec, I didn't like it at all. As for the food, it's pretty basic, I'll usually get the southwest rolls or something from the 2 for $25 menu (me being frugal). The servers are usually pretty friendly (wish I could say the same thing about the hostess). The atmosphere is very casual and laid back. Our waitress did not let us know of any of the deals currently being offered, including but not limited to, $5 margaritas, happy hour, or the 3 for $10. This was very sad because although we were there during happy hour (Monday night after 9p) no one brought this to our attention. Our appetizer and food took a long time. We occasionally go to a Chili's near our house for lunch. Their 3 for 10.99 deal can't be beat for value. Whatever we choose always comes out quickly, is hot and really tasty. The fries are especially good. Hubby says the burgers are better than the pricey places he sometimes ends up at for business. (Restrooms are alway clean too!) A typical meal for us is a non-alcoholic drink, chips and salsa, a very large burger and fries. For 10.99. Most are hard-pressed to eat it all. I wouldn't even consider going to any of the nearby fast food places. It would cost more - way more - for food that's soggy and almost always cold. 1st let me start off by saying that we order Chillis for Cinco de Mayo I guess right along with everyone else because I order my food online and went to pick it up and it was like 40 people out there waiting on food. People standing and trying to figure out how to pickup the food because they only have 3 curbside pickups spots available with min 50 cars out there waiting. While everyone was social distancing North Brunswicks finest shows up and said someone called and said that Chillis wasn't social distancing so everyone have to wait in their car. Meanwhile the runner says they had to cut the online ordering off because it was too busy. Needless to say our pickup time was 7:05 and I got the food at 8:10 when I was waiting since 6:50. Finally when the runner brought the food out it was cold as the Anartic. Thank God I checked the food because I order spicy shrimp tacos and they decided to give me chicken tacos. Had to return and wait some more before they brought out the right food. Pics will show how disorganized they wereand the food showed it today. My suggestion to Chillis is to get more curbside pickup spots and I know that they are understaffed but having you wait almost 1 1/2hrs for pickup is unacceptable. I couldn't even cancel the order because no one would pickup the phone for me to cancel because I would have went to El Toro Loco because the parking lot was empty there. Went there today sat down got our drinks and three apps waited an hour and 10 minutes for someone to place our order for our food . One couple walked out after they found out we were waiting that long and another group was waiting as well. We asked for a manager he came n rolled his eyes at us cuz we were not happy with the service. We paid the bill as were walking out the server cursed at us saying I am f**king busy. First off, I only went to this establishment to use some old gifts cards recently found!! I do not think I would have gone to this chain restaurant otherwise. The menu had a good amount of choices and according to the menu new options too. The staff was nice, but the appetizers did take a little bit of time to come out, not too long though. For an appetizer, the triple dipper was ordered. It was a choice of 3 appetizers. The picks chose were the southwestern egg rolls, crispy cheddar bites, and the big mouth bites. See below for thoughts on each. Southwestern Egg Rolls - The egg rolls were flour tortillas with smoked chicken, black beans, corn, jalapeno jack cheese, red peppers and spinach with an avocado-ranch sauce. They were just okay. I really did not get a taste of all those flavors together because of the size of the egg rolls. The avocado-ranch sauce was the highlight. Crispy Cheddar Bites - The cheddar bites were simple cheese curds. They were fried nicely and had plenty of cheese present. They were supposedly topped with Cajun spice, but I could not taste that. It was served with ancho-Chile ranch. It just tasted like ranch to me. Big Mouth Bites - There were 2 sliders with smoked bacon, American cheese, sautéed onions, and ranch on the side. The meat was overcooked and I do not remember tasting any bacon. The onions were cold as well. It was not the best tasting slider. For an entrée, I went with the mix and match fajitas and chose 3 proteins. I went with the grilled chicken, grilled steak, and carnitas. They came with bell peppers, caramelized onions, which were topped with chipotle-garlic butter and cilantro. There was also shredded cheese, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, and tomatoes. They gave 3 flour tortillas. All of the meats lacked flavor. The cheese was also a little hard. I did enjoy the chipotle-garlic butter that was on the vegetables. For dessert, the skillet chocolate chip cookie was ordered. There was also a scoop of vanilla ice cream with hot fudge on top. The cookie came out warm and very soft. The combination of the vanilla ice cream and that hot chocolate chip cookie was tough to beat. It was a pleasant finish to a mediocre meal. Will I go back? Used to like this place but of late their food makes me feel sick. High sodium? Shelf life of frozen items? wonder what could it be...This place used to be much cleaner and busier. Happy hour rates for drinks are a moving target. Their servers charge variable rates for the same craft beers on different days (even in the bar area) and the manager gives a dumbass response when asked why so. The ziosk tablets don't always work and you cannot leave on the spot feedback. You can see the discomfort on some faces if someone wants to leave a feedback on their Ziosk tablets. Shove some undeserving tip and a positive feedback to see them smile. Corporate managed? Really? You may be better off spending your hard earned money for a respectable meal elsewhere. read more
