Love Sonic BUT disappointed Me today I'm a huge Sonic Fan but there's isn't one in my county. I was helping a friend move and she lives maybe 10 minutes away from Sonic. We pulled up to the Sonic Drive Thru and there's a big hand written sign that reads, NO Apple Pay. I inquired and apparently Sonic doesn't take any digital credit cards. Unfortunately, I only have my digital wallet on me today. I don't have cash on me because who carries that anymore?! Also, I was helping my friend move so I don't hand my purse on me. Basically, it boils down to, no Sonic for me tonight. I sincerely hope they update and upgrade their system to accept digital currency in the future.

    Nasty stuff in the tea

Ordered my food. My drink was an unsweetened tea. I noticed after I left the tea has a lot of crap floating in it. I call it spout funk. I imagine the container isn't cleaned properly. That made me wonder about the food quality after seeing that. I couldn't eat it. Disgusting. I am glad the cup is clear.

I swear the only time I go to this place is because of my five-year-old who loves the French toast. Nothing is convenient about this place. There's slow and still don't even accept google Apple Pay or any thing like that. there's nothing that keeps you wanting to come back. OK I take that back maybe the tater tot's. But at night time you can't even see that there's a sonic in the parking lot at the lights to the Walmart go out and sonic seems not to have any lights also. Many times you can't tell if this place is open or close because there's not much going on. back in the day I used to love going to sonic for a nice cold drinks and great snack food. gone are the days and it could just be this location, but this is the only one we have nearby in Frederick, and they have a lot of stepping up to do if they want to remain in business.

I do not recommend this branch of Sonic. We were not happy of the food we ordered. It appears that they do not have a microwave? Please refer to the photos below. The grilled cheese is not toasted, the cheese are not melted , the tater tots are cold and the cheese is cold as well. The only thing good is the convenience of waiting in the car.

This was my first time visiting Sonic as I'd heard a lot about it but we don't have one super close to one in our area. So my girlfriend and I decided to check it out as she'd been before but it was my first time. She loves the warm pretzel twists they have and I am also a fan now. We also got Burger meal combos with tater tots and Sonic blasts. I got a footlong coney hot dog as well. The service was good as our food didn't take long once we place the order. This is a very casual place that offers a wide variety of menu items for decent prices. If you're looking for just standard American menu items this place might be up your alley. This is in line with other fast food places so you have to set your expectations as such. All in all not a bad visit but I don't think it's worth going out of your way for. This is literally an "if you're in the area type of place stop by" but we live like 25 minutes away. Still glad I came to try it though!

I decided to try this place even though I saw the bad reviews. They were mostly about it taking a long time and we were ordering ahead using the app. How bad could that be? Bad. We still waited 15 minutes for our food. The chicken tenders were stone cold. The iced tea was so syrupy it made McDonalds sweet tea taste unsweetened. The chicken sandwich was half unwrapped. I called and they said to come to the drive thru to get replacement tenders. We waited for another 10 min and didn't even get to the window so bailed on it. Stay away from this place!

Worst Sonic food I've ever had. Food was barely warm and the onion rings clearly were double fried. Drinks were diluted. What the heck?

The steakhouse burger was also fantastic. It was a great burger, but still a burger. So I was definitely a 5 out of 5, but the beet burger won the trip for me. I ordered the monthly special milkshake which was the chocolate fang-cake shake. The pieces of chocolate cake in the shake provided a bit of texture and the chocolate was nice and velvety. The fries had a great flavor and were crispy. I saved them for later and they were still edible - not like typically fries that become soggy with no taste. The burger was thick and very juicy. I gave four stars instead of five because my order didn't come out exactly right. The burger was cooked medium well instead of medium temperature and I didn't get any raw onions on my burger as requested. Also, there was whip cream on my shake when I asked for it to be removed. Otherwise, I would certainly order again the next time I'm in Frederick.

We also grabbed the double patty melt, which was superlative. The patties were juicy, the rye bread was perfectly griddled, and the whole thing just hit. The onion rings deserve their own shoutout too, crispy, hand-breaded, and the perfect side item. And of course, we had to finish with dessert. Driving through the area late at night, we stumbled across Wag's with a craving for burgers. Though we weren't there to drink since we had a drive ahead of us, we loved watching the other patrons enjoying the bar scene. With daily specials and a great basement vibe, I can see why people love Wags. As for the food: the burger was just alright - but what can you expect when your meal is less than $10 per person? It honestly was perfect for the price point. The Wag Burger claimed to have a special sauce but we didn't taste it, which was fine because the burger was juicy, greasy, and hit the spot. The Philly cheese steak had a bit more flavor than the burger and was also a solid choice. Fries are fresh and made in-house, and I appreciated that you can salt them yourself and decide what toppings you might want to add. The menu is honestly huge for a dive bar, and all the food was solid. Shoutout to the staff here because after hearing how some drunk customers were treating them, they deserve all the tips in the world.
